Question Poco F3 bricked cant acces EDL Mode and Fastboot Mode - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

I have my Poco F3 today brickt when I wanted to install the latest Xiaomi.eu beta (android 12 ) via Fastboot. I do not know if it was because of that, but I have replaced the boot image in the images folder with a magisk patched boot image. that phone no longer turns on I see only a black screen. Even if I tap power+volume down and connect the usb cable (for EDL mode), my pc does not recognize the phone (or do I need special drivers for EDL mode). What do I do now. Can Xiaomi in this state me flash the software on it again? Because someone else has also destroyed his Poco F3 (similar to me) and Xiaomi has repaired it for free because it was in warranty.

F3 dead after flashing error.
I got an error at the begining of the flash, something like "too many files opened" and stop flashing. I aborted the process and now my f3 is dead, black screen, not recovery or fastboot. Windows desn't detects anything. Some help would be...

It seems like you are not the only one.

To get into EDL mode you have to open the phone and make a test point but it's very likely that you need an authorized id to flash the firmware

Mine the same, black screen and nothing happens, cant even reach EDL mode or anything. Happened when trying to quit the LOS recovery and installing the EU 12 ROM all went to the trash and now phone doesnt respond to anything

There is an Anti-Rollback feature baked into MIUI to prevent you to reinstall MIUI back. You should never install MIUI using any Custom Recovery or ADB.
1. ONLY use MIFlash. MIFlash stops you to install bad software to your phone. Only certain MIUI ROMs will be accepted by your phone for install. Afterwards you can update to the latest.
2. You need to edit your MIUI ROM to remove the Anti-Rollback lines of code in order to flash it using TWRP or ADB. I believe this is were your mistake was.
About your problem if you PC does not detect your phone at all anymore, i doubt entering EDL by shortcutiing the connectors will change your situation. Your phone may be in EDL but will still not comunicate with the PC. Try specialized service and stop messing with things without understand all the steps needed for this procedure. "Nah' it will be fine" doesn't work all the time as you can see

did you find a solution ?

You don't need to open the phone, you need to find someone with a Xiaomi authorized account.
You can find them by searching Google.
They will have tunnel to your PC and fix the phone, it costs about €25.

Had the same problem, very annoying. You need to check if the Phone is recognized as a Qualcomm 9008 Device, then you can do the restore, with the help of someone having a authorized MI(?) Account (and pay them, of course...).

So, only updates of MIUI are possible through TWRP?
I'm not sure if I like this new world, unbricking devices for money and all those things... coming from a POCO F1 and never had any of those issues....

Nothing I do will let me get into download mode. Power+Bixby and Volume down just brings back to the screen.

So you can get to the first stage of DL mode where it asks you to press Vol up to continue, and when you press Volume up it reboots the phone?
If that is the case you have a problem as Download mode is nothing to do with firmware, it is hard coded, if that's corrupted you'll be needing to send it off for repair I'd think
Wait... What?!? Did i read you right?
From the error screen, what you did was hold vol - home and power. Until you saw screen saying vol up to enter dl mode, but then you kept holding until it rebooted again back too the error, and pressing up their does nothing?
If thats all right, you messed upp.....
Next time, as soon as you get to the screen thay says press vol + the enter dl mode, release everything, wait 5 secs and then press vol + like it says and should enter dl mode normally and you can flash with Odin....
If it wont enter dl mode from that screen, you have seriois issue, but it will never go from the error screen, you just need to hold the buttons on restart from the error to get into dlmode again
Jist an addon: some times ive noticed on some devices, when your at the download mode screen trying to press vol + to enter, somtimes you need to click it a few times for it to grab it, ive had it not work on one oress but work after 3 or 4 repeared ones... Could be sticky buttons but just saying

I am not an expert but the next thing you will read is what worked with my phone
The model is SM-9600 Galaxy s9 from Mexico with Telcel carrier. I was trying to flash a stock firmware without bloatware so in the middle of the process with odin, something went wrong and FAIL appeared. I got scared and look in every blog but no answer.
Instrucciones en Español abajo.
What it worked for me was:
1.- Download the Smart Switch for PC and update the software if it makes you the require, I think the problem was with the drivers.
2.- Press VOL -, Bixby and Power, you'll get the first screen of DL mode.
3.- Pess VOL+; you will get the Error screen. (You leave it like that)
4.- Run ODIN, and load all the files AP,BL, CP, CSC (you previouly have to download the firmware for you phone. I used Sammobile).
5.- Connect you phone with your PC.
6.- Press Start in ODIN and the cell will be detected and the flash will start and finish in the correct way in the upper left corner with red letters will appear a notice that says "FRP Unlocked" and other stuff.
I Hope this works for you too.
GOOD LUCK:good:
Buena Suerte. :good:
Thanks and this worked for me

I tried to root my SM-G960F/DS following the updated instructions from https://highonandroid.com/android-smartphones/how-to-root-galaxy-s9-or-s9-plus-exynos-supersu/ and got stuck in boot loop (sorry, new user so I can't post hyperlinks yet).
I re-entered download mode, updated to all the latest versions of twrp (3.2.3-0), no-verify-opt-encrypt (6.0), samsung-antiroot-removal (2.4), G965_PIE_Root_for_OEM_issue_devices (5), and Magisk (18.0), but ran into the same bootloop problem.
I then tried to reload samsung's stock 9.0 through smart_switch, but it wouldn't recognize my device. When I enter Emergency Software Recover, the only option it gives me is to recover using a recovery code.
Finally, I tried the instructions above from frickin_boy, but the flash stopped after ~75% completion. This is as far as I can get with it, regardless of which version of the samsung stock I try to flash. Can anyone help me with this?
Had this happen to my s9. Booted only into emergency mode with smartswitch instructions. Smartswitch didn't work wouldn't take my serial number. While it's in emergency mode Odin will work.

Just gave it a go from emergency mode instead of download mode. I was able to connect to Odin as you said, but it still stalled out at ~75% complete.
It may be worth trying same steps but with a different official odin firmware. Oreo or pie
I couldn't get any of the previous versions of Odin to work. But I was able to find the 14 Feb version of the firmware (instead of 14 Jan from SamMobile), which flashed correctly.

apparently odin still works when in emergency recovery mode.. (just like in download mode). So use odin to reinstall.
any ideas on preventing auto reboot every 15 seconds? I got it through the flashing process earlier today, but since the last fail it won't stay on for long enough to flash anything else. I put both the CSC and HOME_CSC file into odin (HOME_CSC in CSC slot, CSC in CP slot..) and it got hung up 3/4 of the way through for a really long time (like at least an hour, likely more), so I cancelled it and tried again which came back failed. Prior to this the message was that it wouldn't run with unauthorized firmware (it had stock firmware, I just did a reset) and now it says to use the emergency recovery. Emergency recovery both doesn't recognize it and also it won't stay on long enough to use anyway. I can sometimes get download mode but it reboots regardless. If it isn't plugged in though, the screen flashes for a fraction of a second but won't turn on. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you ever get this issue resolved?? I have the same exact issue with an S7 that was bricked during an odin firmware installation. I've also been looking for an older version of Samsung SmartSwitch. I believe a version older than 4.xx might allow for a specific model in the emergency recovery setup parameters instead of autodetect. Can anyone find that older software?

comando fastboot bloqueado con bootloader desbloqueado ROM v10.3.5.0 Global

2186/5000
Hi. I have a Mi Max 3 that I just bought on Alixpress. I bought it at this distributor for two reasons. First because they usually come with the bootloader unlocked and second because it is cheaper. However, I have received an official Global ROM, which was immediately updated as soon as I turned on the smartphone after its configuration. I was updated to the MIUI Global 10.3.5.0 PEDMIXM version. By having the bootloader unlocked you could use the adb / fastboot tools from the PC with the options for developers activated and the USB debugger activated. I understand that with the latest versions of the Global ROM in this model you have activated Antirollback. I put it in fastboot mode and connected to the PC with the USB cable, I entered the command "fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-0-nitrogen.img" (I made sure that the TWRP was the corresponding version, more conveniently "twrp-3.3. 1-0-nitrogen.img "). To my surprise, I got stuck without getting an answer for an indefinite period (I mean nothing). To exit the lock, press the power button. Then I wanted to find out what level of anti-rollback the ROM had with the order "fastboot getver anti". The exact same thing happened. In other words, it has some type of protection that blocks the "fastboot" command, but there is no way of knowing what protection the Global ROM is activated. In this way I have the bootloader unlocked but due to a protection that I don't know I cannot put the recovery and install another ROM.
To say that I tried a method that theoretically deactivates the anti-rollback that is "fastboot flash antiarbpass dummy.img".
The result is always the same block with no response. Also, you don't get any error messages that report what is happening. In adb mode it works without problems. Can you tell me what's going on? I presume that it is the ROM that was given that has some type of protection not yet cataloged. The cable and the tools used are more than proven. I did all this under Linux and then under Windows with the same result. Let's see if you can help me with this. By the way, if you want, I can make you a beta tester under Linux. Thanks and best regards.

Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly

Hello guys,
Can somebody help me? I have a problem with my LG k10 M250.
When I turn on the device, the message appears: "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly".
I would like to reinstall the rom stock, but I can't enter the download mode because the phone always restarts. In other words, my device is always in bootloop.
I have downloaded the following files/tools for installation:
1. M250ds10a_03_VIV_BR_DS_OP_0227.kdz
2. LGUnitedMobileDriver_Ver_3.11.3.exe
3. UPPERCUT_1.0.0.0.zip
Is there a way to fix it? Could a test point be an option?
Thanks!

Everything went fine during install, but after booting the phone I noticed the phone was constantly losing cell signal and mobile data connection. I had to revert back to stock as I was unable to resolve the issue. Has anyone came across this problem, or was it something i did wrong?

Hello
My phone is Samsung A30S SAM-A307fn
I rooted the phone exactly according to the steps.
But the problem is that the SIM cards are disconnected and connected every 2 minutes.

Did you try clean install via mifalsh before messing with twrp?
Select an older ROM , mifalsh it and use it like that for a while with no modifications - root , twrp , anything.
What are you deleting ? ( There shouldn't be anything you need to delete after clean flash )
If you still have ramdump issues idk... Changing to AOSP might not necessarily solve the underlying problem that's causing this
( If it's hardware , then possibly cpu / ram chip solder balls are failing )
( If it's not hardware then I'd pay one of those guys on telegram and ask for a deep flash - sahara protocol flashing, idk what they call it )

Thank you for your reply , i am not sure but i think i didn't clean install with mi flash before messed up with twrp . Actually everythings is possible , i have done many formatting and wipe in twrp and orangfox , then i realized what happened , i tried to wipe deeply by twrp and orange fox . But While i tried to wipe in orange fox i got this error which " mounting is not possible or we are able to mount or there is nothing to mount " this was biggest error i got .yes I tried to install pixel experience and miui cxs rom . i thought by myself maybe it's be the hardware issue too . oh one question my poco f3 is 128 GB and when i wiped everythings by twrp and orange fox all the free space i got is something about 108GB , is that normal ? I dont know maybe i wiped something i shouldn't , so as i understand which u said miflash supposed to cleaning everthings even if i messed up in twrp or orange fox ? By the way in twrp my both slot A and B is ok . If u see the photos every file in ramdump is same size 29mb and every 20 seconds one file shows up there . I thought by myself maybe it's connected to encryption or decryption stuff , just silly idea i guess .
and thank you so much for your kindness which u want to pay for deep flash , i appreciate man but it's not necessary . I would pay myself
that ramdump file filled 75GB of my storge and i got this error now .
