[Magisk module]Enable left-swipe shelf on Oneplus Launcher(Nov 2022 Update) - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Guides, News, & Discussion

1+ has all the code ready but it's limited per device/region. Patched the launcher to access the shelf on left swipe(minus one screen) instead of swipe down. After patch we can choose to use google feed or shelf, and (keep) swipe down for notification.
Here is a magisk module for BE86AA 11.0.2 ROM ONLY. The modding method should work on all other 1+ devices with 5.x launcher, but as the APK varies the magisk module should only for the ROM said above.
Check readme for how to patch.
Update a newer version for BE86AA.11.0.9 ROM (Nov 2022 update) with 5.1.19 OP Launcher.

Hi,
How did you bypass the signature verification ?
Because priv-app have to be signed with a trusted key. And the app in your zip failed the verification process.

I believe the key verification is only done during normal installation. Magisk module directly "overwrites" the already installed apk thus no verification. And that's why we need a magisk module not a normal modded apk.

You don't need a module. You just add a 5 character line to the build prop on any op device and you have the Google feed toggle on the launcher now. Or if you don't have root, use setedit. ro.build.mea=1

On some ROMS(mostly India and China, no idea about EU), 1+ has shelf but no discover(google feed), adding ro.build.mea wll will enable the discover.
However for this US ROM(BE86AA), Discover is already enabled by default but no shelf, so adding ro.build.mea will do nothing. The modded launcher will enable both.

OnePlus 3 and Daydream VR

Hi all,
did you see this? http://www.daydreamdistrict.com/run-daydream-vr-oneplus-3/
This seems to be the only way to have the OnePlus 3 ready for Daydream. I still tried this customization (comment).
Has anybody did this, too? What can be the reason for unsuccess?

Was this a question or a hint? Yes, actually I do not have any Daydream VR Controller. But I didn't have any Icons in my Launcher.
By default the line "<feature name=”android.software.vr.mode” />" is set. The other has to copied in. And after reboot no nothing.

after adding those lines you have to go to the playstore or use APK mirror and install daydream app and daydream keyboard the line
"<feature name="android.software.vr.mode"/>" just enables the support but you still have to install the apps

If you start the device it first asks for PIN's (unlock SIM) and then the PIN (unlock device) or fingerprint or what ever ... and then there is nothing. You can open the taskmanager. In my case with the message "No recently opened Items". First I thought is is an error in OxygenOS Launcher but as I installed Nova (install apk through adb install, because no icons -> no Google Playstore) there was no icon, too. No screenshots from me ... if I do it again it will take me another 1 hour for repairing.

Unfortunately i don't know what to say as when i added the lines in my device booted normally and no crashes anywhere it was just useless for me as i dont have a second android device with gyroscope free lying around but i can assure you Google Daydream works flawlessly on oneplus 3

Did you set the correct permissions after editing the file? (Check the screenshot.) I suggest you use 'root browser' from the play store, edit the file and then set the same permissions as in the screenshot. Just long click the file and tap 'permissions'
As You can see Daydream VR is working perfectly with Oneplus 3 just need a second droid device with gyroscope or buy the actual daydream Vr headset and controller
FYI i am using daydream on lineage OS the New official one

[ROM][stock based][UsU required]2BA-revamped[May2019]

This is based on stock 2BA firmware.
Requirements
This requires a UsU'ed device
What's the purpose of this?!?
because making stuff like this is fun!
I made this for people who have Verizon and are waiting for @steadfasterX to update the blobs for LOS.
I wanted to make a rom that replaces the default launcher (because it's dated and ugly) and remove the pointless Verizon apps ( like Verizon cloud, Verizon Security & Privacy, and Verizon Navigator).
Added things
nova launcher
black player (music player)
xda labs
android messages
Twilight(blue light filter)
magisk
change the default wallpaper
Multi-window mod
Removed things
default launcher
music player
Verizon cloud
Verizon Security & privacy
Verizon Navigator
Verizon messager
Verizon Location Agent
DT Ignite
Issues
The home selector in settings is broken
Installing instructions
before you install it in twrp, do a factory reset. (the built-in magisk installer will not successfully install the magisk manager if you factory reset after you install)
Download
Android file host
Adding features request/found issues?
you want me to add something to this rom? you can notify me with gethub issues tracker
Just don't go too crazy with it! (xposed themes, what I research so far, they can't be added to a rom like this so don't request it unless you know differently. )
updates
May 2019
-Added magisk
-added Twilight(blue light filter)
-fixed stuck at the preparing screen after a factory reset
-remove Verizon Location Agent
-remove DT Ignite(Mobile Services Manager)
-fix auto installing of apps
-remove lg stock messaging app
-changed the default wallpaper
-added Multi-window mod

tested by me on One Plus Nord - Working like charm!
It's working only the clock style is not change I have word now but when I select default it stays at word??
Any idea if i can get it working on non-rooted Nord? :?
There is no way to make it working un-rooted. This modify your system app system UI and there is no way without root permission. Why just not unlock bootloader and flash new boot image ..?? ?

Question OnePlus 9 Pro Stock camera apk

Hi XDA Community and OnePlus 9 pro owners,
I read that OnePlus 9 series is still using Sony Sensors but bought computational photography from Hasselblad.
Since this is "only" software based photography enhancement (similar to GCam) in theory it should be possible to port this to other OnePlus devices aswell.
That's why I am kindly asking if an owner of OnePlus 9 series device can share his/her stock camera app with the community.
So it would be greatly appreciated if you export the apk using Titanium Backup or similar.
Thanks!
Best regards,
m.p.a.
I was able to extract the OneplusCamera.apk.
It's v6.2.22, and it's got all the nice orange features, and the Hasselblad logo on Pro mode button, but apart from a new Pro mode layout, I haven't noticed any new features compared to the version what I had before (v6.4.44 from APKMirror) on my OP8Pro.
The apk is from 11.2.1.1.LE15DA ROM, Indian version, the one you can find in this article.
I was not able to install it via the package installer by the way, and I had to use the Systemizer Magisk module to install the apk to /system/priv-app/ manually, and after a reboot, the app was usable.
You can download the APK from my Google Drive.
Edit: I have also uploaded the APK to APK mirror.

Thanks alot for putting in the effort to extract the APK from the image! Very kind of you!
I will go ahead, install it and test for improvement in photo quality due to hassleblad computational photography.
Best regards

I haven't checked myself the minimum Android version, but on the APKMirror site, it says it's only from Android 11 and up. That's why you have problem installing it.
I had the same issue on my unrooted 8 Pro & I am on 11 with the March update.

Do you have the same parsing error, or it just simply doesn't install?
If it just doesn't let you install and you don't get the parsing error, you need to follow the instructions in my post.
You need to be rooted with Magisk and use the Systemizer module to install it as a system app.

Do we need to be on Oos ?
Can anyone upload the com.oneplus.camera.pictureprocessing apk from OnePlus 9 series? Maybe using that we will be able to use the Hasselbad's image processing on previous devices!
I have tried with multiple versions of the camera app from APK mirror and every single one does the same thing, it acts like it's going to start and then closes out.
I'm trying to get it on my OnePlus 5T. I recently switched from stock to LineagOS 18.1, I already have magisk root and the systemizer module. So technically it should work.
I tried systemizing the camera app using the other dir option and the same thing happened. I try to open the camera after rebooting and it looks like it's about to work, it prompts for permissions and then closes, after the initial prompting of permissions it doesn't do it for future attempts, instead it just instantly closes.
I also noticed that the gallery app has weird problems such as not displaying photos or information after you click on them.

Themes / Apps / Mods [Magisk] Google Assistant button remapper mod

This is a Magisk module that remaps the Google Assistant button as a camera button, made for Magisk 20.4+ and stock vendor (does not work for all camera apps, so try a few).
If you use stock rom and don't want to root you can probably use something like Shouko/XPERI+ instead:
Shouko/XPERI+
Before installing, remember that unlocking and rooting can void warranty and cause certain apps or features of your Xperia to stop working. I don't take any responsibility for problems associated with or caused by the usage of this module.
To install:
Unlock bootloader and root with Magisk
Download Google Assistant Remapper Mod
Install the module zip file in Magisk
Reboot
Say cheese!
To uninstall:
Remove or disable the module in Magisk
Reboot
Ok Google!
Enjoy the mod!
Changelog:
v1.0: Initial release for Magisk 20.4+

You can try this module and report back if it works.
Try more than one camera app because not all of them support using a camera button.
If it doesn't work I'll need a dump of the /system/vendor/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl file + value of getprop ro.build.product.
