Redmi note 9 pro (joyuse) flashing recovery question. - Redmi Note 9 Pro (International Model) General and

So after the last update V12.5.2.0.RJZMIXM my phone started restarting randomly. Can i use recovery to flash the previous version, Stable Recovery | V12.0.4.0.RJZMIXM , or do i have to wait for the unlocking of the bootloader ?

You can't revert to older ROM version without unlocking the bootloader.
I have this phone too and after the update had these symptoms (rebooting during calls, freezing occasionally).
What I did I just ignorred them for some time and they've disappeared somehow.
Just let it settle down.
Another good practice after OTA update is to make a factory reset of the phone.
Hope you'll get it working again.

[Q] Bootloop (softbrick to hardbrick back to softbrick)

Long story short:
EDIT: I somehow magically (after 2 hours of trying) got into recovery, cleaned and wiped everything and booted into MIUI. Switched to CM 12.1, leaving this thread for anyone that experiences the same problem.
1. I was running CM11-R24, with an early version of the Xcelerate kernel. All was fine and well but today it restarted on its own a couple of times. It would enter a bootloop that I managed to get out of by going into recovery and rebooting from there.
2. Bootloop happened again, couldn't get into recovery.
3. Installed newest twrp recovery via fastboot. No change.
4. Managed to hardbrick my phone by installing a wrong .img of a global version.
5. Managed to revert back to a softbrick by installing the right (hopefully) global version of my mobile phone.
6. I did manage to read a logcat inbetween and I remember there being something about the kernel settings being nulled to default, because there was a failed boot 2 times in a row.

Current problems:
1. When powering up the phone, it will not go beyond the Mi logo.
2. When trying to enter recovery (volup+power) I enter another loop. It is normally 10-15 seconds of Mi logo, power down, 3-5 seconds of Mi logo, power down. Repeat. I do not stop holding the recovery combination while this happens.
3. I have installed via fastboot all of these recoveries - TWRP 2830, TWRP 2860, Philz latest recovery. After installing each of them, I can not enter recovery mode again. Flashing a new recovery doesn't seem to change that.
I have access to fastboot, currently I installed the stable fastboot rom version "armani_images_JHCCNBH45.0_4.3_cn_e7e373f319".
I can not get adb to recognize the device, only fastboot. Can't get a logcat because of it. If you think I might be doing it wrong, please walk me through the process.
How do I get it back to working condition? The phone was bought in Bulgaria from a retailer, but I don't know which country it was originally shipped from, only that it's a WCDMA version.
Throw it away and get your self some reliable phone unlike redmi , it's a crap lots of issue ... I prefer Motorola .

Mediapad M2 10 A01w

Hi there, I have the above device with unlocked bootloader. It was rooted but I had a problem where the tablet kept rebooting but only after it loaded Android. No amount of following guides fixed it and Recovery and Fastboot were throwing g up problems whenever I tried to flash anything.
Eventually, I managed somehow to switch it on to Chinese update cycle I think and update the ROM with the latest official Chinese EMUI through multiple reboot loops (it downloaded about 10% of the update each time before crashing and getting the next chunk of download next time).
So I'm currently on the latest Chinese ROM running android 5.1.1 and it started working again. However the ROM came without gapps included so I flashed TWRP and installed gapps and I'm back to the reboot cycle. It lasted a long time before restarting again though so I'm guessing it's to do with gapps trying to update.
So I'm back to square one again. Any ideas? Is there any kind of log I can provide to help diagnose? I still have TWRP and have access to that without the bootloop starting again..
How did you rooted it?

What Are My Options?

what i currently have now on my rn8pro is miui11, android10. prior to this, i had android 9 with the anti brick files flashed from the mega thread (if it matters). not sure what happened but i got a message saying i lost root. so i went into twrp 10 and uninstall and reinstalled root. now it just boot to the first redmi screen and it loops. im still able to access bootloader and recovery. what are my options? id prefer to startmoff fresh from scratch starting with android 9 and staying there. wasnt sure if id bricked my phone. im on my back upright now (honor note 10) but currently on stand by waiting to her from someone since this phone is easily bricked. i hope i explained it right. thanks.
My exp: looping is due to older magisk being flashed.
Try download latest magisk & flash it manually via TWRP, it should boot normally.
I bet you're using LR-TWRP? If yes, the bundled one is v20.3 or older. You need v20.4.
Also, stay in A10 my friend, never try to flash back to A9 coz the unbrick files doesn't work on A10 & you'll end up with bricked phone.

Magisk, TWRP issues and regarding OTA...

Greetings. I'm not native speaker and I'm not sure which word I should use (ROM or firmware), but its version is 11.0.2.0(PGGMIXM) on my phone. Miui Global 11.0.2 Stable. Android 9 PPR1.180610.011. If I'm correct my TWRP is gone (nothing happens after holding vol up and power button for 5 seconds, device is off, ofc. Phone is just turn on after I release them). My Magisk acts like this:
Youtube
It would be super good if I can keep all my data and lose nothing. Also don't get a brick.
1) Most important question rn is how to properly unistall magisk. I don't have any backups atm as well. Flash TWRP for Anroid 9, backup, flash uninstall.zip through it ?
2) In what condition my phone should be in order to be able to update via OTA ? Do I need to lock BL, which will 'cause all data reset iirc ? What about root/no root state ? Can I update somehow to the latest official (rom or firmware/Android 11) without data loss ? Current update my phone offers me is 11.06.0.PGGMIXM Stable 443M
So far I've tried to flash recovery, but after "fastboot boot recovery.img" phone just reboot itself and nothing happens. Tried 2 different version of recovery - nothing.

Question F3 Keeps auto locking and unlocking screen after Miui 14

Hi!
does anyone else have this problem?
After moving from Miui 13 to 14, from time to time (at least 3x throughout the day), the smartphone keeps locking and unlocking the screen automatically, and I can only solve it by restarting the device.
Before I didn't need to restart the device for weeks...
Thanks a lot. =)
Locked or unlocked bootloader?
is recommended after a firmware upgrade to hard reset the device to avoid that kind of bugs
Ditto, backup all your stuff before doing so...
maybe the power button is broken
I always suggest not doing a upgrade but a clean instal , via recovery twrp , but if you did do just the OTA upgrade then I would suggest in a factory reset in any major update GL
