Root LG G8 THINQ?

1. Is there a method to root g8 thinq???
As far as im tracking right now there is no TWRP recovery image of the LG G8 ThinQ. I read This Post, and This Post, but didn't test it yet. If anyone rooted it, please let me know.
I have AT&T model. It has the option to enable OEM unlock. The phone is network locked to AT&T.
2. Also, are there any firmware available (e.g., clean one without bloatware)?
I have found This One but skeptical to actually try it out.
Despite the fact that Enable OEM Unlock is an option in Developer Options, when I try to boot into the bootloader, it is unsuccessful. Apparently LG has blocked access to the bootloader on this, as well as other phones.
For the record, I'm on AT&T as well.
Thats kinda lame. I thought that LG wont have same practice with keeping their phones locked as Samsung... Anyway, THIS POST shows supported devices to get to bootloader for LG. Looks like wont have any root any time soon.
What about that firmware without bloatware. Looks like it doesnt require the bootloader?

I need help to install Pixel Experience on HD1907 (T-Mobile Variant)

Hello everyone! I have a Oneplus 7T (HD1907- The T-Mobile Variant) and I want to install Pixel Experience on it. I have heard that there are troubles because of it being that specific model. Could you list me the exact steps I should take to install it on my phone? I'd also like to make a current backup of the software I'm running currently. (11.0.1.2.HD63CB). I have not unlocked the bootloader, installed recoveries and neither rooted the phone. Please guide me correctly. Thank you!
[CLOSED] T-Mobile 7T Conversion to International WITHOUT unlocked bootloader/SIM unlock!

Question Tmobile OnePlus 9 Pro Unlock/Root

Hi all. I'm thinking about purchasing a oneplus 9 pro, via tmobile. I know traditionally speaking you have to pay off your phone to network unlock, and then request an unlock token from oneplus to be able to root the device. I havent snooped around the forums here much for this device. Is there currently a way to root the phone without having to do all the pre-req crap normally required. Is there a way to unlock bootloader like there was with oneplus 7T via MSM tool or similar? I don't perticularly care about SIM unlock, just bootloader. Thanks!
Hi, you have to sim unlock inorder to bootloader unlock

OnePlus phones are easy to root as compared to a few other brands. And since there is a flash tool available for OnePlus phones, you can take risks for rooting your phone. You can use the flash tool to fix your phone in case of any issue. Rooting is not an easy task, but Magisk app makes it easier if you follow the correct steps. But you cannot directly root your phone by default. So first we will share how to unlock bootloader of OnePlus 9 (Pro).

If all you want to do is root/ROM your phone, then you don't need to "unlock your phone". You just need to "unlock your bootloader" which is something different and not hard.
My phone is still SIM-locked but I have rooted it and installed Havoc OS ROM.
To unlock the bootloader, this app should do the trick.

Cannot Unlock XT1952-3 (Verizon, network unlocked)?

I purchased a Moto G7 Play XT1952-3 (Verizon, network unlocked) from Ebay in order to install LineageOS 18.1 on it. This is one of the supported models, according to the Lineage OS documentation. I went to unlock the bootloader, and that involves contacting Motorola and getting a code from them. According to their online unlock tool, my phone is "blocked" and not eligible for bootloader unlock.
I'm so sick of this ****.
I did my research, and bought the correct phone. Can't be unlocked.
I'll probably be able to just return it, but does anyone have a workaround for this problem?
Same happened to me. Found out Verizon phones cannot have their bootloader
unlocked. I sent it back and purchased a XT1952-4. No problem unlocking the -4.
