Download and Installation
* Download twrp recovery
* Start your device in fastboot mode
* Install the recovery using the following command:

fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk [filename].img --> ex: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp_honor9_lite_0.1.img
* Restart with this command:

fastboot reboot
* As soon as you execute the restart command,remove the USB cable and keep pressing Volume UP,so the device will boot to TWRP.This is to avoid that the device boot to OS,overwritting TWRP recovery.

Maybe this could help you, stock firmwares for the Honor 9 Lite. Be carrefull i haven't tried them myself and i don't know how to flash them (just found out yesterday).

I just tapped the e-mail link on their website and asked for it.
Today i recived a e-mail in witch they asked for info they need to get the code like device-ID, IMEI,... and why i need the code.
Now i'm waiting for it, hopefully i get it tomorrow.

Good afternoon. I have a device Huawei p Smart analog Honor 9 Lite. this TWRP does not work. But Your another version: the Only problem is to decrypt DATA at each input. If this TWRP to finish cutting-it will be fine. Thank you for your work.

@daxter19, maybe this is not the fastest or easiest way to get the code but bootloader is unlocked.
Thank you for the recovery! So I tested both v0.1 and v0.2 TWRP builds. V0.1 is stuck at the teamwin boot logo. V0.2 works fine but shows internal /sdcard as encrypted. By the way: is there a way that the recovery is not getting overwritten all the time?

version 0.1 worked fine for me. LLD-AL10 . havent tested 0.2
Unable to unlock UBL its nearly 6months, i've wait and doing alot of search and trials..and still nothing?!!!

The problems solved, nom i'm abble to unlock my devices (Mi 5s). gor everyone bought the secondhand units, beware this problems might comes to you.
and this method may also posible to work on any Xiaomi devices, please report if this method works on any other devices,so it can help more people with the same problems.
*What i've done on my capricorn, loging out the MID,enabling oem-unlock before flash.
1. latest global developer fastboot rom.
2.extract the rom.
Browse and find the "rawprogram.xml"
Use notepad++ to editing the line add "persist.img" on the line.. check the sparse value check it's set as true.
3. Use miflash to flash the rom,enter edl mode with testpoint ...wait till flashing done ..settup the phone (don't know if its the matter, i finished the settup without sim, use wi-fi)
Signing in enabling developer mode and miunlock status bind the account and done, just wait some times to get approved.
I'm also facing this problem in adding account to bootloader status page , says :- can't add ,error code 20091

Try to refresh persist.img through MiFlash, I did it. I made a short instruction in the Russian forum, but I do not have the opportunity to insert a link here.

and that solving the issue in this cases?
helped me. before that I tried many ways that did not work on my mi 5. at the time of unlocking the phone through the test point mode, the firmware was downgraded from miui 10 to miui 8. (which did not help) then I left the account and requested persist.img. after which the phone immediately became attached to the account, and later the miUnlock program was unlocked immediately (without waiting, the account I had since the first versions of miui)

This what i've done on my capricorn, loging out the mid,enabling oem-unlock before flash.
Download latest global developer fastboot rom,extract the rom.

My device is mi5s ( locked bootloader )
I also edited the persist file in rawprogram.xml but when flash by miflash it shows "flash xbl error", i am using ROM GLOBAL STABLE MIUI 9.6

And about mi flash i used the Beta one don't know excatly which version as i aready downloaded and install it about 5-7monts back from now.
And the attached xml file of mine.
You can just copy it inside the extracted fastboot rom,and makesure to replace the files

i use miflash newest.... but you are using global beta 8.10.11 ??? and you check testpoint to edl mode then miflash ?
Yup i use miui 10 8.10.11, yess just use your own miflash version,let see if its work, yes you need to open the backdoor just see on youtube and hit the test point to entering edl mode sir, hope you luck..

Most likely fake, the article was published a month ago. A70 only got released on 26th March.
I would definitely wait until someone posts a technique here; I tend to trust the experts here, but not so much everywhere else on the internet. I would prefer to wait a few weeks and put with an unrooted device, rather than possibly end up with a bricked (or hijacked) device.

it was like this, waited for s10+, came twrp but didnot like camera hole and waiting for A70, then waiting for twrp, then oneplus7pro release, then wait a bit for its twrp, till then note 10 pro comes soon, then wait for twrp of it....

First thing I tried ofcourse, rooting the A70, but... follow the steps in the manual yourself, and you'll see that you get stuck on step 3:
3.) After That Download TWRP Recovery https://twrp.me File On Your PC And Renamed The Downloaded Recovery File Name To twrp.img.
But there is no TWRP Recovery available for the A70
I also tried the A50 manual, but that also fails (stuck on OEM lock). I can install CROM Service, but it crashes.

don't follow some clickbait website's...
wait for a proper and trusted dev to release twrp. the phones has barely hit the market it will take a few weeks (if not months) at least till someone builds an twrp. one think you could provide us with would be some information. is the bootloader unlockable?
In devsettings is a possible to unlock oem. Try this before flashing twrp. If twrp flashed ok, I think need to wipe all data, include internal storage, then flash DM-VERITY, FORCE ENCRYPTION, AND DISC QUOTA DISABLER

i have opened 2 sealed box of A70 and there was no OEM unlock option in developer mode. then got another with tick to choose. baterry is so good but look like i have touch panel issue. waiting for update and then root, twrp...

Mine (bought direct from Samsung UK) has the OEM Unlock option in the Developer Options menu. Not tried it yet, not really much point until there is a reliable and tested root out there.

Hello. My dumbass bought used A70 with samsung account. I can't make a factory reset, because it needs password from old owner account which i don't know. But I have my Google account on that phone and Google find my device enabled. Will I need to enter samsung account information when I make a reset via Google find my device? So when reset is made, phone will be locked only by FRP? And then when I login in my old Google account can i create a new Samsung account or do I need to login in existing that was on that phone first? Sorry for offtopic.

No, you can't use twrp for a different device, and don't use SuperSU neither. It was sold by chainfire to a Chinese company years ago and have been basically abandoned since 2017. I'm pretty sure Magisk is the better choice on any device running android 5 - 9.

The problem with the post you mentioned is that there is no valid twrp attached. And I noticed that only Odin detects the fastboot mode of this device. If you enable USB debugging let's say, the command "adb devices" will detect the device and list it; whereas, if you reboot it to bootloader mode(fastboot), the command fastboot devices doesn't detect the phone. So in fastboot mode, only Odin will detect the device. Meaning, that the post of fake and not tested.

That's weird. I do have the Bootloader unlock option in the developer settings and can do/undo it just fine. Looks like Samsung is using different Firmware versions on the A70?

I recently bought Mi 9 se (chinese version). Long story short I unlocked the bootloader through official method and installed TWRP , flashed EU rom with help of TWRP an didn't keep any back up. After EU rom was installed it went into a boot loop and I ended up wiping it from the phone. Now nothing is working. I am unable to install TWRP , even official recovery is not there , there is no system I am unable to install it throuh Mi flash tool or ADB . Mi flash tool gives error that script not found. I am stuck at bootloader and I have no idea what to do.
Would really appreciate if someone could help me out here . It's a new phone and it has become useless due to my own carelessness . Please help.
can you enter fastboot? if you do, try flashing with mi flash tool as your phone were unlocked so it will go flawlessly. and don't forget to download fastboot rom first in this forum.

You must unzip the tgz to obain a folder containing some ".bat". Like "flash_all.bat" if I remember ==> that's the script it should find. And then you select the folder in the mi flash tool and flash without relock.
My advice: a direct connexion between PC and phone using an USB2 port, not USB3.
Should take about 350s for the complete flash.

I think you have dowloaded the wrong file.
This one is the right: grus_eea_global_images_V10.2.3.0.PFBEUXM_20190403.0000.00_9.0_eea_60219f14d6.tgz
Need to unzip it twice and you will find the rights files. Be carefull to download the "fastboot" one and not the "recovery" one.

Thank you both of you for replying. Problem was solved through Mi Flash tool once I had the correct rom package. everything seems to be working good. Again thanking both members @grzpra and @kagazushi for coming out and help. Now that this is done kindly suggest where should I start learning the basics and advance things of android systems so that I can help people and contribute to this forum. Few links to threads would definitely help
