Pre-Production HP Glisten 3G unlocking problems

Hi,
A month ago i bougth an HP Glisten 3G locked with AT&T carrier, and there was a lot of offerings on the net about remote unlock codes sending my IMEI, but the bad news is that until now i cant be unlocked because all the sellers on the net or ebay says my cell phone is a pre production one of the HP Glisten 3g, i guess they know that because of my IMEI and they cant unlocked it.
So, please, i really need some help with a developed software tool or something to make it work (unlock), i really dont know what to do with it, i've already tried the bypass sims or turbo sims with no luck.

Hp ipaq Glisten unlocking problems

I have HP ipaq Glisten (at&t US locked ). I contacted unlocking services on net but the nw unlock code was not found . I wondered why the unlocking code was not found for my IMEI. I think it is latest . I don't want to change it becoz it is very compact and slim handset. Please let me know if anyone Glisten owner have solution .
I read on net there is some unlocking services offerring they can unlock any HP ipaq model ( no matter which network it is currentaly locked to ) by manufacturer unlock code but I have no idea about them . Are they fake?....

Hi... I have the same trouble! I have THREE Glisten HP Phones with IMEI number starting in 0044XXXXXXXXX and cannot be unlocked!!

I was reading the option of a custom ROM, but i didnt found nothing. Other Option i think is changing IMEI, but i dont know if this is possible.

i have the same problem.i called att service provider 2 times, no result what will i do?my imei starting: 0044..... im in turkey, will i crash the phone*please help me!...

HP iPAQ Glisten is my favorite PDA it is very compact candy bar style small phone with all modern features that is why I am trying to unlock it but unfortunately does not success so far. Custom rom is not available for Glisten. Therefore, as I think only two options left to use this phone as follows:
1. Rebel SIM II (Which can bypass the network restrictions, and we can use the phone with any GSM SIM). If you want to use bypass SIM I prefer only Rebel SIM because it is latest with updated firmware, other bypass SIM may not work properly.
2. Contact some major /reputed cell phone unlocking companies like Global unlock.com, GSM-UNLOCK.COM, unlockitnow.com, discount-unlock.com. I think Global unlock claims code for particular at&t locked Glisten. Try it. They offer if code will not found they will return 100% money back.
I have tried but they said code is not found, your IMEI seems to be invalid, I think Glisten is the latest phone that is why code is not available so far, after some time it may be available. AT&T customer support is also unable to help. I have no credit card. Therefore, I am not in a stage to check these unlocking sites, If anyone interested try above and IF found a code for Glisten imei starts 0044, please report it. We will follow the same to unlock Glisten.

Sorry guy if your imei begins with anything other than 35, your temporarily out of luck. I unlocked mine because ive never had an unlocked phone!

What a s**t, i have looked into this message an thought there is a insider who knows about the Glisten or HP. My IMEI starts with 35 and AT&T and 3 other Unlocker can not unlock it.
So please first think before you write the next time such a b****t, i am pissed off because i have payed 200,- EUR for this pice of s**t.

hi guys.... i am from argentina... i recently buy a hp glisten on ebay from usa... but when my phone comes to me i realize it have a network lock... i read a lot of information and i can not do anything i call at&t and buy a lot of codes sellers but nobody can do nothing for the f****ng glisten...
i know that the code verification its made by the gsmradio rom... and also know that the mostly of the hp glisten are a beta test device... thats why your phones have the famous 0044 imei...
if anyone knows somethin g about it... please let us know!!

My relative bought me a phone from USA the J6 plus and i am going to use it in India, but volte is not working, the data works but calling functionality doesn't work. So, i need help with this, if anyone knows what should i do?

Just flash the official firmware for Galaxy J6+. Use Samfirm to download the software, set the region as INS.

SM-N976N only LTE

Hi, I have a Note 10+ 5G from South Korea with CSC: KOO (unbranded). I live in London and use Vodafone UK which has many 5G spots arroung but my phone always tells me "LTE+". Any solution for that? my friend's N976B picks up 5G fine.

As far as i know the bands are compatible. Vodafone UK uses the n78 band 3500mHz which is used in south korea too. The phone came with "LG U+" CSC (LUC) but i changed it to KOO (Unbranded) with SamKEY tool. No knox trips and it lost all the bloatware from the carrier. The things which are not working are: Samsung Pay (don't care), Wifi- Calling (Option is not visible but i get VoLTE) and most importantly 5G.

Use the tool SamKEY (I can't put links here, please Google it) you need to purchase credits from a reseller (I bought from networkunlocking-com) .

I downloaded the samkey and bought units from the same people you bought from which was around 11 GBP. I logged in successfully and when I said to read codes it returned error messages, phone is not supported. How are you able to do this? Pls

Let me know how, I tried my best to find a free solution but I had to take money out of the wallet. It would help people a lot

Flashing the latest starwars released firmware for sm-n976n changed my csc to KOO from KTC. But 5G will not work outside Korea. I think it does not support n78 5g band. In Gsm arena you can check n78 is not mentioned there.

Due device Carrier Policy 5G is not enabled outside from Korea. Also in Korea could be different 4G CA Combinations defined to hardware. You can help to understand supported combinations by contributing this info here: https://cacombos.com/contribute

It helps to understand supported 4G & 5G bands and combinations of your device. Otherwise there is no other site to check it.

I can't find the ShannonDM software. The one i downloaded has some error saying "can't find the license key" or something and to contact on some samsung email.

I think Your sm-n976n version is Qualcomm so ShannonDM doesn't work for you. It work only Exynos based. If you don't have ShannonDM License I recommend use scat it's free software.

Unlock BAND 20 LTE

Hello folks, i need your help to unlock the band 20 of redmi K30 5G. Currently i have Chinese rom installed .
Is a way to unlock the band 20 ? I saw new Xiaomi MI 10, if you change the rom will enable the band 20 . ( in that case is a software limitation)

People tried to unlock bands at the poco F1, but, there was no success, And people tried a lot

I found the possible files causing the restrictions on LTE and 5G bands, but I have no idea how to modify them to unlock bands.
In the policyman folder, the files:
- china_msim_restrictions.xml
- disable_nsa_mmwave_bands.xml
- lte_feature_restrictions.xml

These files doesn't unlock B20 - this is hardware limitation. Bands are configured to nvitems but on 5G phones many things changed.
But could you please share to me your modem log file so i can list all hardware supported 4G bands to my cacombos.com website? This help me understand what bands & combinations this device support.

If you change any ROMs from global to China and vice versa won't unlock the bands. This is locked down with hardware, not software. Older Qualcomm devices could unlock bands with Qualcomm tools/programs. This isn't the case with newer models.

Alcatel 1X (5059X) VoWIFI

Hi. Does anybody how to enable VoWIFI on this phone? I can't find anything in the settigns.
Or does anybody an app for this which works in germany with O2?
