InstallationOur kernel doesn't feature init.d, so we can emulate init.d by SMARTPACK KERNAL MANAGER init.d
BEFORE DO THIS
-DOWNLOAD SMARTPACK KERNAL MANAGER
-DOWNLOAD INIT.D SCRIPT (FROM ATTACHMENTS) AND SAVE IT IN INTERNAL STORAGE
1. After downloading smart pack kernel manager open script manager inside it.
2. Tap “plus” icon to add init.script and choose “Import"
3. Now import the downloaded script.
IF ABOVE DOSEN’T WORK, THEN SIMPLY TAP CREATE AND RENAME IT “PERFORMANCE” AND THEN COPY PASTE THE CODE BELOW
chmod 0000 /sys/devices/platform/18500000.mali/dvfs
chmod 0000 /sys/devices/platform/18500000.mali/dvfs_max_lock
chmod 0000 /sys/devices/platform/18500000.mali/dvfs_min_lock
chmod 0000 /sys/power/cpufreq_max_limit
chmod 0000 /sys/power/cpufreq_min_limit
Click to collapse
4. TAP “SAVE ICON” to save it.
5. Time for action!!! Execute the script by tapping right 6 dots icon side of script.
BOOOOOOOM BABYYYYYY! YOUR DEVICE NOW DON’T NEED A SPECIFIC CUSTOM ROM OR ANY OTHER THIGS. YOU WILL FEEL LIKE YOUR DEVICE IS LIKE IPHONE 13 PRO.
Uninstallation-Simply reboot the script won’t apply after boot or you can enable “on boot” option to run at BOOT.

Hi,
May i know how you got to root M31s?( running latest security update) .
i have been trying to root with TWRP & magisk ; but ending up triggering KG state = prenormal after flashing magisk through twrp.
tried flashing RMM bypass v3 -- but its giving some mount errors "cant mount /system_root "
Thanks

Flash stock using odin.
Setup the phone and connect to internet using sim network and check for system update. Then enable and check developer options and find if OEM unlocking is shown or wait until it does. Then follow TWRP Guide and root guide is included. Now after booting and setting up root, don't reboot from magisk until you follow the same step as in the stock rom and then reboot.

You know this really is no excuse for not posting your current source right ? There are rules to posting kernels....
Is this based on the zx551 zoom source? If so how'd you get it booting as I can only get boot when ”fastboot boot", not when "fastboot flash".

I will try your kernel in MM official update. In some Zenfone 2 (specially Brazilians ZFs) the upgrade breaks the sensors. Did you heard about it?

you can try but it is based on the compilation 34.4.A.2.70 that you probably bootloop
- It is necessary to perform the cleanup with twrp and reestablish my device
if it is necessary for the changes to be applied correctly
- I can upload it to my personal storage cloud
no, but you can place the thread on this topic without any problems
- Works for Android Nougat
Do not

It doesn't need Magisk and some suspicious module, I think. Any app which can emulate init.d (like Kernel Adiutor) will work just fine.
How do I know it works?
I installed it in a clean rom, but the phone heats up normally as expected, as data: install the magisk file and I throw error, followed the steps to the letter

the device does not heat up if you follow the steps as you re-check the installation and it will last for 2 weeks
Bootloop wheb used on xgen rom 1.07. . Did I do something wrong
Does this mod also work with Omni Rom Oreo?
Hmm, I found only the 1st thing I'm unable to install, I can install the main FCS thing but it's a no go on the initd magisk thing.. it doesn't install....

Copy to internal sd (crucial). Install the zip. Enable init.d using kernel adiutor. Restart phone. Profit.
I was having some weird issues with the mod where the init.d scripts wouldn't run neither with the module suggested in OP nor through Kernel Adiutor and was also tired of having to reflash the mod every time a new security update was released, so I went in and made a pure Magisk version of the mod (attached on this post).
This Magisk version is exactly the same as the OP, the only difference is that it's now a Magisk Module (so it applies systemlessly) and that you don't need busybox nor any kind of init.d support for it to work (the init.d scripts from the mod are executed directly through Magisk late_start hook instead). Download the ZIP, install through Magisk Manager, reboot and done.

You have two options:
1) Boot into TWRP and flash the attachment from my previous post (works only if you already have Magisk installed and working!), then reboot when done.
2) Open Magisk Manager, go to Modules, click the + button, locate the attachment from previous post, then reboot when done.
That's it. You don't need to flash/install anything else.

Used the 2nd method, but there's a problem: after 2 minutes in stand by from the restart of the phone, it restarted by itself...
What's the problem? Need a dalvik/cache wipe after the installation with Magisk? Is it incompatible with Xposed framework (installed on my phone)? Or maybe the compilation base (I'm on fw .118) is different and cause bootloop...
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I used the first method, I had an installation without restart, but it doesn't work!

No! But you can get the right file at this link: https://mega.nz/#F!DZAGDY6B!d6CeWtv-tqD0RHtsOHS02w
When you open the folder, find and download fcs thermal v. 1.3. Then install through twrp.
I've installed on stock rom .118 and works great

Friend I recommend using 3.2.3 that is in google drive friend 3.3.1 I had problems with it so I decided to leave 3.2.3
Remembering if using 3.3.1 will have to pass 3.2.3 via fastboot, because via twrp it will give problem in the partition
Have zuk z2 drivers installed correctly
First rename twrp to twrp-3.2.3.img
Enable usb debugging, connect the device to the note or pc open the command prompt or shell and type:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery -i 0x2b4c twrp-3.2.3.img
restart in recovery mode and proceed with the installation of the build

Try to pass friend via TWRP but be careful and worth installs to Beta 22 I am using it with everything already installed
Friends some adjustments that help on the battery
Some personal oxygen adjustments
Go in Bluetooth and disable support printing
Go to the security screen and disable play protect and go to privacy / LOCATION / APP permission and disable, click on the top corner and show system APP and also disable
Go Wi-Fi with the connection disabled and disable Wi-Fi location
Go system / upgrade programs and disable everything there too
All this drains battery packs

AWESOME ROM BRO
Ram management is amazing!! 4/64
Yes, also very smooth in 3/32!
If anyone likes the UI customization, than you must try this ROM.
And no lag when blur is enabled in developer option.
But I hope the maintainer can enable the tpd gesture (for dt2w) in the next build.

Thanks for your quick response!
Right now I'm using boot shell with this command echo 1 > /proc/tpd_gesture. (I learned it from Ryuu's SkyWalker Kernel channel.)
I will try to enable dclicknode from recovery, since I don't want to rely on root so much.
Updated: dclicknode is already 1 in the recovery terminal. Maybe I still need a boot shell app...
By the way, the battery backup in stock kernel is amazing! Only 0.5%/hour idle drain!

Yes... If dclicknode can be enabled by default, that will be better. Like Ken's changes from dotOS 5.1 to dotOS 5.1.1.
But if it cannot, still ok for me, I can use root method. Anyway thanks for your helps!

Yes, boot shell also needs root permission. Just a temporary method now.
But I didn't know kernel manager can do that before, so thanks for your information!
P.S. The reason I don't like root method is that, every time when the phone reboots, I need to unlock it first and waiting for dt2w script process up. If I don't do this, I will encounter ghost touch issue. It's not a big issue though.

The reason why people change roms is to get rid of the bloatware and sometimes it has a performance boost and battery life is much better. Also a lot of features that you normally can't get.

But for now I will suggest flash stock (dvl1) with odin & flash zip again.
Before flashing zip take a backup to quickly recover the device.
