Question Wifi Calling and 5G - TCL 20 Pro 5G

The last Android 11 update removed both options for Wifi Calling and 5G. I was hoping this would return with the 1st Android 12 update but it did not.
I'm not bothered about 5G as I am about the loss of wifi calling. Does anyone know of a way to re-enable it?
UK puchased model
Android 12 Build Number 6
Vodafone UK Carrier (support wifi calling)

WiFi Calling on AT&T - Working?

Our company switched from Verizon to AT&T on same day I received my Pixel 2 XL (my phone, their SIM).
I am not seeing an option for WiFi Calling - I had this on Verizon, but not seeing the option on Pixel 2 XL on AT&T:
Settings>Network>WiFi>Preferences>Advanced>Wifi Calling (missing option)
I have noted that HotSpot is not yet working. AT&T is aware and will have enabled by Friday. My IT guy does not seem to think WiFi calling is something AT&T needs to turn on.
Anyone using AT&T have WiFi Calling working?
Not available with ATT at the moment. Possibly in the future, since Google was able to work out getting VoLTE working with newer Android builds.

Firmware to enable WiFI Calling on unlocked GS7 on ATT network?

I had a ATT Galaxy S7 and it had the feature to turn on WiFI calling. I used it a lot because I have very little signal at home.
After that phone broke I bought an unlocked GS7. It does not have the WiFI Calling feature anywhere in the settings. I've heard that I need to install the "stock" ATT firmware to get WiFi Calling. I'm a newbie at this so I don't know what firmware I should be looking for.

Enable VoLTE Redmi Note 8T Stock MIUI 11 with TMobile USA

Purchased a Redmi Note 8T phone to replace my mother's aging LG feature phone, specifically due to TMobile USA dropping support for phones without VoLTE in January 2021. Followed the steps to disable the carrier check *#*#86583#*#* and confirmed that VoLTE option shows enabled on *#*#4636#*#* menu. Also confirmed I'm getting LTE signal and data. In the SIM settings it shows VoLTE enabled but no icon next to signal indicator and doesn't say HD when making calls. IMS status says Not Registered. Any suggestions? Is this because the phone has been on the TMobile network for only a couple hours? Or because TMobile still thinks she's using the LG feature phone which definitely wasn't VoLTE capable?

After much testing and process of elimination we have basically determined that either it's not possible on the US T-Mobile network, or that getting it to work is far beyond my technical capabilities.

New Firmware SEA

Hi
New Firmware got released today.
58.0.A.3.170
No new feature
Nothing that I noticed. IMS not registered. Volte enabled in settings, unavailable in service menu, available with my provider. Very frustrating.
It is Sept. security patch.

Where are you, and with which carrier? In the US, with US market phone, AT&T does not register this phone with IMS, but T-Mobile does. On T-Mobile this phone has VoLTE but not Wi-Fi Calling.

I really hope they enable WiFi Calling with an update. The phone is perfectly capable of it, since it's the standard Android IWLAN implementation.
RIght now, I'm using the DIGITS app to have WiFi Calling and Texting as a workaround but it's cumbersome.
WIFI calling and VoLTE work with Google FI. I had ATT for 15 yrs and switched. Sick of nothing working unless you have a ATT phone

Question [RESOLVED] S22 Wi-fi calling quit working after installing One UI 5 (Android 13)

I have a new Galaxy S22 (SM-S901U1 - USA factory unlocked), purchased and placed into service on October 29 (as an upgrade from an S21). While using the One UI 4.1 firmware (AVI5), Wi-Fi calling worked flawlessly (both making and receiving calls), as it did on the S21 (One UI 4.0) prior to that.
On November 15, I installed One UI 5 (Android 13); BVK1, and have found that Wi-Fi calling no longer works. When I try to make a call, I receive an error message "Turn off Airplane Mode to make this call"; and calls made to me don't ring on the phone.
Wi-Fi calling is, of course, enabled at both my carrier (a T-Mobile MVNO) and on my phone. FYI, the SIM is in SIM2 (eSIM), though I am not sure that is relevant to Wi-Fi calling.
Does anyone know how to fix this or is it a bug in the firmware? I need Wi-Fi calling.
UPDATE: The OTA update from Android 12 to Android 13 revoked all of the permissions for the app "Carrier Services" ; once these permissions were restored (followed by a reboot), Wi-Fi calling became fully functional again.
