Hello all,
I have the T-Mobile LG-D851 and I'm currently running Android 4.4.2 stock which has been rooted. I've also followed a guide to modify the stock tethering so it appears as if it is only using my mobile data instead of tethering. I have TWRP recovery installed.
I do not want to upgrade to Lollipop because I do not want to have to repeat the above steps. How do I rid myself of the annoying System Update Message that is always popping up and stuck in my drop down menu?
Is it so hard to use the search button? What's wrong with you?

U could've try entering safemode and change/delete the wallpaper and not reset the phone.
It's an android bug documented here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/wallpaper-triggers-rare-bug-causing-android-devices-bootloop/
To other users DONT TRY THAT WALLPAPER, it will crash/bootloop your phone!

When entering safe mode in this terminal, the wallpaper loads and the error occurs again.

I tried it and it didn't work?
I tried to remove theme store from mine using ADB but it didnt work out:silly::silly: .. it's an app that cannot be removed unless rooted ... The whole UI would crash .. I guess u might've hidden it and forgot take a look into it .. and look for it in the settings > app management > app list ...
