Pre-Rooted Magisk Firmware for Samsung Galaxy F62
Disclaimer: Unlocking the bootloader will wipe all the data on your smartphone and in some cases, may even void your warranty. It’s advisable to back up all your data before performing these steps. It’s also important to understand that not following the steps correctly may result in a bricked phone so make sure you know how to recover your phone back to its original state in case you end up in a situation like that.
Furthermore, Magisk may cause issues with a few banking and payments apps.

as this is a high end device, only few devs are owning it so development will be slower, where as redmi is fast as it is widely available

@rc chanu pls do keep it updated with pre-rooted rom for upcoming one ui 4 update in april (as per eta) or earlier.

Initial Release
Guides:
Notice: It may wipe all your data including those in internal storage.
Part 1 - HOW-TO FLASH TWRP:
1. In your ROM, go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
2. Go to Settings -> Developer options and enable OEM Unlock option.
3. Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phones Drivers.
- Option 1: Download and Install Smart Switch for PC.
- Option 2: Download and Install standalone driver package.
4. Download and extract Odin (Samsung's Flash Tool) to your computer.
5. Download a .tar image of TWRP.
6. Reboot your device to download mode.
- Hold [VOLUME DOWN] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] for approx. 15 seconds.
- Read the warning carefully.
- If you agree, press [VOLUME UP] to get into Download mode. If you don't agree, STOP.
7. Open Odin and place that TWRP tar file in the [AP] slot.
8. Connect your phone.
9. Hold [VOLUME UP] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] on your phone and then press start on Odin.
10. Wait for the phone to reboot. DO NOT release [VOLUME UP] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] or you may not reboot into TWRP.
Part 2 - HOW-TO INITIALIZE TWRP: (for new phones)
1. If you completed Part 1 successfully, you should be in TWRP now. At this point, you will reach the screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications.
2. Select "Keep /system RO". (Don't swipe right or you may not be able to boot into system if you failed to complete next steps. However, you can swipe right to allow modifications if you are confident that you can complete next steps.)
3. Go to "Wipe" menu of TWRP and you will find "Format Data". Press "Format Data" and type "yes" to continue.
4. Go to "Reboot" menu and Press "Recovery" to reboot TWRP.
5. Download the latest dm-verity and force encryption disabler zip on your computer.
6. Transfer the zip to your phone.
- Option 1: MTP: Connect your phone with computer and just copy the zip to internal storage. (similar to how you transfer files when in system.)
- Option 2: ADB: Connect your phone with computer and run command "adb push /path/to/zip /sdcard/".
- Option 3: External SD: Copy the zip to an external SD and then insert the card to your phone.
7. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
TWRP is initialized and fully functional at this stage. Now you can either reboot into system or root, flash custom ROMs via TWRP.
Part 3 - HOW-TO ROOT:
1. Download the flashable zip.
- Option 1: Magisk
- Option 2: SuperSU (untested)
2. Transfer the zip to your phone.
3. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
Part 3a - HOW-TO FLASH CUSTOM ROMS:
1. Download the flashable zip.
2. Transfer the zip to your phone.
3. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
Simple.

Ok maybe a stupid question but if I just want the recovery so I can make full nandroid backups (so I can return my pink screen device then just restore the nandroid on a new device without having to set up everything again!!), can I flash this without worrying about it tripping knox?

Hi, thanks for this helpful guide! I have a question/problem, I did all this steps and the flash started but it got stuck at system.img for more than an hour so I canceled by holding Volume DOWN + Power button, now I have a message saying: an error occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smartswitch pc software. I tried that but my device doesn't show up it just tells me to use it there too. I've retried flashing using the same version but still gets stuck at the same place. I am trying to download my original firmware I really hope it'll work.
Edit: I tried with original firmware and still got stuck at over 50% .
Edit2: I tried using a normal USB-C to USB cable and stock firmware worked

Is the USERDATA file from the firmware really required? I am thinking of flashing the one UI 3.0 USC firmware ( SM-N975U) in SM-N975U1 and got USERDATA in the firmware i downloaded.

Why does magisk dissappear when I reboot? I'm not talking about when Magisk asks to reboot, i get past that magisk is still good but if i have to reboot again it dissappears.

Changelog:
01.05.2022 - Initial Release.
Tested on BVB3 and CVC6 roms, both are working perfect.
On CVC6, wiping data worked and multidisabler seems to be working too. My phone is rebooting and after all data recover I can tell if it done well completely.
Edit : backup is working, install zip is working, to me there is no bug. Just one weird thing, after the update I directly installed TWRP, it worked fine. Then decrypted data and reboot. When finished, I wanted to reboot recovery via Vol Up and power, it always boot up to system, I née needed to reflash TWRP to access it again.
Except this little thing, it works great.
Many many thanks !!
Great cant wait to test whenever I got some time to clear it all and start over :/
Any1 who tested yet?

If you bought a US Version, i.e. Carrier brands, you cannot do so, even if you have an unlocked. All US Snapdragon device after like S6 they've kicked us out. If you have a Exnos.
1. Open Settings scroll to about device
2. Tap on Software Information tap build number 5 times to show hidden developer settings.
3. Scroll to you see OEM Unlock.
4. Refer to guides online after step 3

I am considering buying the smartphone. But the root access ist important for me.
Need you to enter twrp again to have root access after a restart and a connection to pc to enter twrp? I ask because my Galaxy A50 loose after every restart the root access and I need to enter the twrp with a connection to pc to fix it.

When you make all right, unlock bootloader, twrp, vb_disabler and then magisk. Then you have a rooted phone with advantages and disadvantages. No loosing after reboot. But no OTA too
Does nandroid backups work with this version and android 12?
how can we update the phone say to OneUI 5.0 in the future and keep root.

Patch the fw with Magisk, use Magisk install instructions and possibly replace recovery.img with TWRP so that you keep it and flash any multi disabler again that you may have already flashed.
Is it mandatory to format data when we already have Magisk installed ?
If you are full stock, then disabling vbmeta will trigger a wipe

Just a thought, I have stock ROM october patch and I have Magisk installed properly with Zygisk activated.
I obviously already done a full wipe for this.
If one day I would like to install TWRP, a full wipe will be mandatory ?
I'm asking since I understand that full stock means no Magik installed, which is not my case.

does smali patcher work on rooted galaxy s21 fe?
Hello Mohammad,
After rooting I keep getting "ERR_INTEGRITY" errors in logcat, so some apps (especially Samsung ones) don't work properly. Is it normal since you wrote "Encryption not fully working", or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!

Usually because bootloader unlocked, use safetynet fix module.
