Question Is there a way to make 6S Pro compatible with Sprint/T-Mobile? - Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro

Question is in the title, is there any way to make the 6S compatible with Sprint/T-Mobile carrier? I'm pretty sure I have the global rom, but is there a specific one for Sprint/T-Mobile?
My carrier is T-Mobile and my IMEI number is compatible with T-Mobile but not with Sprint, and since T-Mobile uses Sprint's network I can't use my 6S because my IMEI number isn't allowed on sprint's network. In fact, when I do put my SIM card in my redmagic i get a notification saying "SIM 1 not allowed." Do I have to flash a certain rom to make my 6S compatible or can I just not do anything about this? Thanks for any help in advance!

I have mint mobile which uses t mobile I had to place my sim card in slot 2 at first I was not receiving calls or messages in slot 1

Any way to activate without a verizon sim?

I just bought one and my international sim card isn't picking up any signal with a x above the icon and it says not a verizon sim card. I can only assume this is because the phone isn't activated on verizon yet since note 4s are unlocked by default. Is there anyway to bypass this activation?
Pls someone reply.... am having same issue over here.
Set your phone network to "Global".

Mi Mix2 and Axon 7 on Verizon

Mi Mix2 Global ROM MIUI 9 and Axon 7 Nov. 2017 Update.
Test condition - 1: Verizon post-paid SIM and Mint SIM (T-moible).
Mi Mix2: both sims can be in both sim trays. both can be active for voice call. obviously only one can be active on data. both sim gets LTE and VoLTE. when data is set to Verizon, Mint SIM connects as 3G (UTMS).
Axon 7: only tray 1 can work with Verizon SIM. both can work with Mint SIM. if put Verizon Sim on tray 2, no signal. both can be standby for voice. obviously only one line for data. when data is set to Verizon, MInt SIM connects as 2G (GSM). which might be problem for A&T as they already shut down 2G.
Test Condition -2: Verizon post-paid SIM and Xfinity Mobile (Verizon MVNO).
Mi Mix2: both trays can work. but only one can be active at one time, and looks like determined by data. when data is set to one of them, the other sim won't even get signal (shows emergency call only). but can switch between two sim back and forth no problem. so, not possible for dual sim voice standby with two CDMA lines
Axon 7: only sim tray 1 works with CDMA.
Will data still be connected when in a call using Verizon?

Thanks much for providing such a detailed comparison. I have a question regarding test condition 1. Hope to get some insights from you.
Assume that you set data to T-Mobile, and you are in a voice call using Verizon, is data via T-Mobile still connected? I ask this because phones such as Le Max 2 will have data disconnected when in a Verizon voice call.

Blackview 9500 pro need help finding root app??? And need to modify apn Volte/LTE att

Hi of the blackview 9500 Pro it's not a complete idiot and I'm not afraid to get into the kernal. But like many I've gotten spoiled to the one click wave of rooting and hoping to find the same for this one. The main reason why I need to do this as the frequency bands on this phone will match 4G LTE for AT&T and already know it works for volte4g Cricket which is AT&T. But with this phone it will not under AT&T SIM card you like anything but 3-g band but the Cricket SIM card will utilize the 4G volte band I'm hoping to find some tools to modify this so I can have 4G LTE or volte on AT&T SIM card. Thank you looking forward to reply
Are you sure the native ATT Sim doesn't work? I have a Blackview 9500 (not pro) and my ATT sim shows 4G VoLTE. My second sim is Google FI and it shows 4G.
Sim
I cant be 100% as I have had the phone for less than a week. I went through every APN attached set up I could find. And to note it is a brand new sim card from the att store. I was going to try and switch sim2 (working cricket 4g Volte sim) with sim card 1 and see if sim2 is still 4g... I was hoping to avoid that due to in the past I had to call separate support lines to activate the IMIE... then depending on result possibly have to rinse and repeat back to back calling 2 different support lines... Ugh!
Could you many post what ur APN settings are many I missed something... Note*I was looking for root because I read that you can open up controls/ mods you wouldn't have otherwise with APN
Thx

Dual Verizon MVNO / CDMA sims

Looking for a clarification here before I make the jump to a dual sim phone. Located in the US.
My goal is to combine 2 services into one phone. I have a primary Verizon MVNO service that I use for Calls, MMS and Data. I want to add a second SIM, preferably also a Verizon MVNO, for Calls/Text.
I have seen some comments indicating that you can't use 2 CDMA SIMs at the same time.
If that is the case, the only option for the second SIM would be a GSM service, correct? If that is the only option, can the second SIM can only be used for Calls and Text? How about MMS? I assume NO for MMS on the second SIM.
I was considering this phone because it seems that both SIM slots support CDMA carriers. But, if you can only use one CDMA SIM, and am forced to go with GSM for the second SIM, I will reconsider the cheaper ZTE Axon 7 option.
MMS doesn't work on this phone.
When I spoke with Verizon about this, they stated it was due to the phone being "unknown" on their network, so MMS limitations are enabled as they can't identify the phone. This is because Xiaomi doesn't register devices with all carriers.
Personally, I would keep looking. SMS, calling and Data have been working fine.

Hi, I have an dual sim card tray in my unlocked NA model, the same model you are referring to. i bought it (dual sim tray)off of Amazon from a link someone posted quite a while back when android 12 was first coming out. There was a thread here with the info at the time. I haven't ever got to use the other sim because at the time they had a few uncertainties. I'm still on a android 11 based custom ROM.

It is? Strange, my sim tray is only a single sim, my ROMs only show 1 sim number. And yes, my phone model IS LE2125 and not the T-Mobile version. I have used the LE2125 msm numerous times and global OOS and never had issues with modem/base bands and stuff so my model is the north american global unlocked

is your device perhaps a telecom device (telecom devices are only single sim) which has been flashed to a global device?

No, even if it WAS flashed to global, I would have to use the T-Mobile msm, which I don't need or use. Also, don't have radio issues using custom ROMs like T-Mobile users have.

No, LE2115 and LE2125 are both single SIM. In fact the T-Mobile LE2127 is a dual SIM device, one of the reasons people were buying it, but it's totally unstable, as it ships with a single SIM tray and the second is disabled.
I received a couple days ago from Amazon my order for OnePlus 9 Pro 5G LE2123 Dual SIM 12GB+256GB EU/UK Model Global ROM Factory Unlocked International Version. After setting it up and done migrating all my files from my OnePlus 8 Pro Model IN 2025 Dual Sim, I am surprised to see that the item I received is the Model LE2125 which is confirmed Dual Sim.
My previous research all said that Model LE2125 is only Single SIM, but here is my newly delivered Model LE2125 and it is indeed Dual SIM and both SIM cards are confirmed working. Can anyone enlighten or confirm that LE2125 is actually not Single SIM?
My primary TMobile card on Sim 1 is working fine and picking up 5G, while my secondary international roaming card on Sim 2 is also working.
Your feedback and input will be appreciated. Thank you much.

So, LE2125 is single sim ONLY. I know because I bought a dual sim tray and put 2 active T-Mobile sims in it and only 1 showed up.
But mine is LE2125 and I was surprised to see that it is in fact DUAL SIM, with dual sim tray and both sim cards are working (I put in my primary US T-Mobile sim in tray 1 and my international roaming sim card in tray 2). I bought the device from Amazon Marketplace used or refurbished.
Please see the 3 screenshots I posted showing the ModeLE2125 with 2 Sims and 2 IMEIs in device settings.

I think your software may be LE2125 but its either T-Mobile hardware or EU hardware.
Thank you for your kind observation. But all I can say is that this LE2125 is DUAL SIM with dual sim tray with 2 sim cards working (even my international roaming sim card on sim 2 receives my multiple test sms mesages sent from my US Tmobile number). So, as a hardware this LE2125 is working fine. As far as its sotware is concerned, it's already beyond me how it got into the device.
Thank you anyway for your input.

What I am meaning is, you phone might actually be LE2123 or LE2127 with north American OOS showing LE2125. Software is not hardware specific. Some ROMs will change your model number
Thank you so much for this info, that software is not hardware specific. This info is very new to me as I thought all along that frequency bands on a device is dictated by the physical hardware itself and not assigned via mere software configuration.

It's not the bands that are being spoken of, it's the hardware model shown in the settings. If you have a full conversion device, it's possible to convert from, say, LE2127 T-Mobile to show LE2125 US unlocked instead.
This is likely what happened because T-Mobile devices sell for cheap because nobody wants to deal with the headaches from them.
Thank you for this valuable information. I thought specific device models made for let's say, Europe, China, US have the radio hardware baked in with specific 5G or 4G LTE bands that work in specific regional markets.

They DO have this. Changing your model number with software won't change the bands that are supported, it just can change the model number (which is incredibly stupid as it makes it easy for people to sell a phone as something that it's not).
Wow, thank you again. Yes, it looks like it borders on deceitful practice although it is not illegal.
if u wanna be absolutely sure which model u're getting, check the IMEI number against online database.
it will show u exact model.

I have LE2125, & i can confirm that it's a single sim device.
though i always if there's any way to make dual sim work in this model.
