Could someone please let me know if Samsung Galaxy M33 5G supports dual 4G VOLTE? For example, can I use two Jio sims simultaneously? Or can I use Jio sim while using 4G on another sim?

Thanks for info, I asked this question because according to gsmareana, the phone does not have Compass or geo magnetic sensor or magnetometer by which ever name you want to call it.
While according gsmareana F23 has this sensor. So I am weighing in which phone to buy.

Dual SIM capabilities? Both 4G+4G or 4G+3G or 4G+2G

Hi guys,
Sadly just brought a mediapad x2, what a junker! The dual SIM.. one of the cards will operate only at 2G which is bloody useless.. I cannot even get clear calls on the bloody thing.
I just seen this Xiaomi and impressed it shoots 4K video which would be nice for my 4K tv haha
So can anyone confirm the dual SIM on this Xiaomi will give me at least 3G on a 2nd sim if used?

For the first sim you'll have 4G and the second you'll have 3G. So the anwser to your question is yes. From the MIUI website in the Q&A section:
Does the Mi Max support 4G LTE? What are the frequency bands?
A. Yes, It is full NetCom 3.0 and 4G+/4G LTE is supported (ONLY in SIM1 slot).
Thankyou for clearing

Unlock 2G network limitation for 2nd SIM

Hello,
It seems AT&T has shut down 2G network because the 2nd SIM card on my Lumia 950XL Dual-SIM phone has no more network. Is there any hack to unlock the 2G limitation for 2nd SIM card so I can connect to at least 3G network for text message(not necessary for the voice/data)?
Thanks

I knew it is dual-standby only devices that is why asking if there is a hack to unlock the restrictions. I believe W10M OS restricts the ability to be dual active.

Holly ****. Is hardware stuff, not software.
You can't have 3G on SIM2 if there is a 3G/LTE active on SIM2.

Do you have any proof that it is hardware problem? There are some functionalities are locked by OS, for example LED for notifications even though the hardware is there. It might need antenna but the 1st thing I want to know is OS limitation

That is because the functionality is restricted for this particular phone. There are some dual-SIM phones you can have both SIM cards with 3G/LTE

OnePlus 5T - Dual SIM in Canada?

Hi Everyone
Dual SIM phones are not common in North America - so this may be a silly question!
The 5T website lists a "Dual Nano-SIM slot", which of course means the phone can support 2 SIMs
So i'm pretty excited about that! But, I just want to make sure that this may not be a leftover description from a regional specific version and it should have been removed for the North American version?
I've never had a One Plus phone before so im not sure what they've offered in the past!
Thank you.
yes, and the most important, would be I able to use op5t with freedommobile in Canada ?

Considering the 5T has the same hardware (except display, camera) as the 5 and the 5 works on Freedom Mobile I can't see that changing. Read this OnePlus thread on LTE with OP5 on Freedom especially the instructions in the fourth post.
Currently i use my oneplus 3t with rogers and bell.
they work perfectly simultaneously.
I use data counter to see my usage per sim.
And so far I've found Textra to be one of the better text apps that integrate dual sim functionality well.
and dual sim selector app to manage auto select function for which sim to use when dialing

Question Dual GPS support?

As per title, please use the GPSTest from Google Store and check for L5 or/and E5a CF values. If present it means Samsung S21 FE have Dual GPS support. If you want to know more about Dual GPS support there is a nice read here.
I only got L1, E1, B1 values.
Thx @Randi03
Unfortunately dual or even triple dual gps is unsupported on this model.
Xiaomi even offers triple band GPS on their latest 12 series smartphones.
it would be interesting to know if the feature is just software disabled (reversible) or the device misses a proper antenna to enhance the L5 signal

Question Is S22 GPS dual band capable?

Hi!
Samsung Galaxy S22 (exynos) has dual band gps support?
GpsTest doesn't show me L5 signal.
I have poor signal, worst than my last OnePlus 8T.
Thank you!
The S22U (exy) has dual band support, the S22 has the same SOC, therefore I would expect it to receive L5. Btw. the Note 10 and S20 exy versions also have dual band support, so it would be strange if Samsung had removed it only on the S22.
Capture with S22 exynos and my Oneplus 8T… Maybe S22 has not able the feature and it’s enabled on S22 ultra?
Have you figured out anything?
Really no dual band?

What kind of problem do you mean? A standard user would not recognize if dual band works or not.

on s22 regular snapdragon, do not see L5 as well
Hm, if Exy and SD are affected, then maybe a hardware antenna for the 2nd frequency is missing?
My S22 Plus (EU version SM-S906B/DS) has L1/L5 as far as I can tell. I noticed in the GPS status app before as it counts the dual band double per satellite (so 2x visibile satellites). I installed the latest Android 13.0/5.0 update before running GPSTest, but I think it already was working like this before.
Sincerely,
Wim

It looks like only the S22 has no dual band. The Plus and Ultra have.
And carrier phase is only supported by the Exynos models and not by the Snapdragon ones.
