This is not good, but since there is such a rule...
But it seems to me that a direct download link could be posted here instead.
Paranoid Android Sapphire Alpha (A12 with gapps) - ROM / boot / vendor boot
Paranoid Android Sapphire Alpha 2 (A12 with gapps) - ROM / boot / vendor boot
YAAP 12 Homemade (with gapps)- ROM / boot
p.s. the installation method is the same as on the Pixel OS.

I've been wondering about vanilla roms especially. There seems to be official vanilla arrow os rom. I'd love to hear about it if anyone used it before.

So I have used the Pixel OS for over a week. It is a good rom, no serious problems except:
Battery drains a bit faster
Camera does not work too good
- EIS does not work at all
- 1080p60 does not work with most gcams and while some work, they have other problems like selfie / wide angle camera not working for video... you have to use different gcams for different things
- slow switching between lenses = no smooth zoom etc.
Now I am on xiaomi.eu V13.0.1.0 stable rom.
Problems so far:
No full screen gestures with 3rd party launcher allowed and you can't even hide the nav buttons
- worked around this with Fluid Navigation Gestures and Tasker task that runs on boot to hide the nav buttons (Custom Setting, Type: Global, Name: force_fsg_nav_bar, Value: 1). You might need root for this.
Other than that no problems so far... miui consumes about 30-50mAh less while idle with the screen on (I can get down to 150mA according to Ampere app while Pixel OS was more like 180-200mA after the last update and 240-260 before the update). Difference might be even bigger in deep sleep with the screen off where I had to charge the phone again in the morning with Pixel and I don't have to with miui - battery level now drops only a few % overnight.
Camera is great on miui and appranetly there is some "Miui 13 Camera Mod" that lets you adjust noise reduction algorithm, sharpness, color control, bitrate and other settings. I still have to try that but it is reported to work with 5G NE and xiaomi.eu 22.4.21.
Root / Magisk, ViPER4Android and other modules work with both roms so no problems there.

Added link to LineageOS 18.1 for Xiaomi 11 lite 5g NE (20220515).

Thank you very much for this ROM list. It's hard to find ROMS for this device so I'm glad you've listed the ones you've found.

Thank you for the list. This is the most complete list I have seen so far.
Just for completeness, you could add the URL for the stock ROMs to the list. Useful for people who want to revert for whatever reason.
Having said that, I can only find URLs for individual downloads.
e.g. At the time of posting, URLs for the latest stock ROMs for lisa Europe version are:
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.5.8.0.RKOEUXM/lisa_eea_global_images_V12.5.8.0.RKOEUXM_20211209.0000.00_11.0_eea_607b867ac2.tgz

...but what is the URL for the index page for all lisa stock ROMs?
...or the URL for the index page for all Xiaomi stock ROMs?

Is OxygenOS camera take better photos than Google Camera ?

As title. I really want to know the differences between 2 camera apps on OnePlus 5T hardware, as I want to try custom ROM but afraid of missing the ability to take portrait mode photos.
I've tried a couple of custom ROM's. But as of now nothing beats OOS Camera features. Interestingly, someone started this thread just today. Thinking of trying out these custom ROM's
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/help/custom-rom-oos-camera-included-default-t3851694
I totally agree with "poythegraeat" but at the moment I cannot find a good AOSP custom rom with OOS cam included and I'll never use a decripted smartphone or a closed source rom. I'll stay with LOS for microg + gcam under privacyguard and firewall. I also tried the OOS porting for lineage but videos are not working in 1080p, 18:9 cause app crashing.. now it's still really buggy.
Differences gcam vs OOS cam: at the daylight, in optimal condition, they are very similar (You must use "5t library fix" and "Pixel 2 colour" magisk module, and you must use hdr+ too, otherwise you will get glitchy photo). In very low light gcam is totally unusable. In normal low light is barely acceptable (OOS is totally better in low light).. Video stability, portrait mode and slow motion is lost with gcam. If your concern is privacy and you want a custom rom, I think that gcam is a good option. If you only need customization: my advice is strongly to use oxygenos and root it.
@rmroot
What you think OOS is closed source?
https://github.com/OnePlusOSS
OOS has mixed licence (and so closed source too), it's not fully open source. OOS has closed source apks and parts of the sistem that log the user like a malware could do, if you are interested in this particular topic I suggest you to search on the subreddit "privacytoolsIO". You will find a recent post about OxygenOS privacy and some analyzes posted on twitter by a security researcher.
@rmroot I'm a Geek and Professional already on these topics...
I've been doing this a very long time, personally and professionally, sorry if I confused you. I keep making assumptions with comments like that because we are on a Android Developers forum...
Anyhow I should of thought before I posted that...
I meant it's Open in the Context outside of Google and what manufacturers have in the way of their hardware firmware blobs.
So outside of Google and hardware firmware blobs, that's the Open I meant, and why there's a Repo...
Cheers

I need some guidance with Google Camera for OP 5T

Hi,
I've been reading forum posts, both on xda and OP forums, tested LOTS of apks from https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ but the failure rate is just too high and I need a more systematic approach. There are just too many mods and variants for the Google Camera to test and going only for the obvious OP 5T ones did not bring any good result so far. They either crash, don't open, lag, etc.
My Phone: OnePlus 5T
- OOS 5.1.7
- blu spark kernel
- rooted (magisk)
If there are some Google Camera apps that are KNOWN to work on OP5T, or if there are some which are specially developed for other phones and they won't work on mine, any type of information would help right now, to narrow the amount of apks to test. I'm just fed up with the amount of "oil-painting effect" the stock camera provides and a solution must be found.
Many thanks for anyone willing to help.

Why are you running a custom rom?

I wanted to GTFO Google and (ONE) single ROM has been developed for this phone on XDA without Gapps and it's not even maintained any more. I tried out Lineage with Micro G and I was pretty happy. I asked if anyone here would be interested in GrapheneOS and got no reply. I built it for myself and was happier with the spoofing in Lineage so I went back. But that brings me to the OP question...I guess I just don't understand why anyone would build a custom ROM that allows Google to spy on you completely unchecked. I thought I must have been insane since literally nobody here seemed to agree. Then I found this write up......I immediately decided to post it. Not because I want to piss people off. Not because I'm unappreciative. But because WTF ARE WE DOING??Why are we even running custom ROMS? Xposed came out and Google screwed us with SafetyNet. Then you had Substratum that got checked from Google but it's being "allowed" right now even though they tried to patch it out. Then Magisk comes and Google buys him out. This has always been a "cat vs mouse" game until recently. Now it's just a "cat vs customizable cat" game. Did we lose? Or is it that people would rather trade their privacy for convenience? The direction we are headed as a community is allowing Google to slowly close off and become Apple pt2 and nobody seems to mind much. But this is XDA! How will it exist without people caring about this? Here is part of the write up that applies specifically to the OnePlus7T. Hopefully I'm not alone. Hopefully we can get this train back off the tracks where it belongs. Barreling through the unknown in defiance of these huge entities trying to control you. Link is at the bottom of the write up.crDroidLineageOS-based custom ROM designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device while also attempting to bring many of the best features existing today, according to their intro & how I think its grammar should be.
Personal remarks: A very good heavyweight ROM (and the best Limbo ROM at the moment), burdened with a soydev website (at least there's no BlockAdBlock unlike Arrow) & lack of Vanilla/GApps enforcement in a way similar to Bootleggers - no Vanilla/GApps branding
Advantages:
Per-app data restriction (Pie, A10, A11)
Signature spoofing (A10 & A11: no toggle)
Inbuilt App Lock
Disadvantages:
No signature spoofing (Pie-only; forgiven & redacted starting with A10, 12/4/2020 build)
If you look at the official site, there's a screenshot that shows this feature, on a toggle. Should have been available at Settings > crDroid Settings > Miscellaneous; but it's not there.
Tested the 12/4/2020 build & found out that microG support is enabled without toggle. This anti-feature is redacted.
Poco X3(N) only (confirmed on 23/3/2021 build) - USB debugging enables itself on boot (redacted per 22/4/2021 7.5 build)
28/4/2021 Update : With inbuilt vendor on 22/4/2021 7.5 X3N build, USB debugging no longer self-enables on boot (it's enabled at 1st boot, but can be disabled without enabling itself on subsequent boots). Welp, guess it's like the F1's Pie era all over again, where most builds (especially userdebug ones) enable USB debugging on boot until developers starts to include vendor partition in their builds.
Poco F1 (A11) : No force encryption
No Vanilla/GApps enforcement, in addition to lack of Vanilla/GApps labeling
List of GApps-infested builds :
OnePlus 7T & 7T "Pro"
Not having an active TWRP development for a device does not excuse the maintainers for releasing GApps-only releases, unless they also make a Vanilla variant. And, since there is an active TWRP development, there shouldn't be any more reason to tolerate a lack of Vanilla build (other than the maintainer being too lazy / unwilling to develop a Vanilla build, in which case per should be replaced).
Poco F3 (switched to Vanilla builds as of 9/7/2021 builds, but still listed for reference)
Redmi K20 / Mi 9T (davinci) (Vanilla build available on GDrive, FWIW.)
OnePlus 9 "Pro"
When its non-"Pro" (the vanilla OnePlus 9) variant gets a Vanilla build (despite a lack of functional TWRP for either) there is no excuse to be lazy & provide GApps-only builds
Custom ROM List
Definitely. Yaap microG by John Galt is very good also. Omni microG is also good
I read through your entire post and while most of the things you have said could be attributed to a subjective basis depending on person to person basis but the overall idea has a couple of inconveniences that I would like to add some insight of my own and would like to explain without sounding too brash
This is just my own personal impression that I have witnessed being part of the greater Android ecosystem in general starting from the early days to where we are now
In my opinion, the lack of interest by developers that originally gave their time and effort into working hard and fixing things has generally not kept up with the pace of Google's development efforts to curb these "hacks". The cat and mouse game what the post you quoted said is nearly at an end. I think Google is winning with everything in broader terms and despite the conveniences offered by microG and custom roms using that implementation, it doesn't come close to what Google offers.
The hassle of finding workarounds to make even the basic of functionality to work on Android requires time and effort which as I have already said earlier, it's something no one can commit to these days. The "enthusiast" aspect of custom rom development has really taken a dive over the past few years as manufacturers generally offer good enough functionality (at least for my use case as I am heavily reliant on my phone for work and general personal use) and Android has come a long way since the early days.
All of what I said boils down to the cost of convenience vs concern for issues that are really issues for a specialist segment of users within the entire community. People de-google their phones to focus on privacy and prevent data mining from these data hungry corporations and I for one for wish I could have something that would decrease my overreliance on Google's services but it is just not possible as the majority of people just use their phones and expect things to work just like that. So, the long lived idea of if it ain't broke, don't fix it plays very well into this. The trouble is generally not worth the inconveniences that come with it. Lack of interest of users therefore means lack of options and thus a lack of development.
Here's my 2 cents
I think for devs or hobby-coders who do this for free, time is more valuable than the luxury of "privacy" (which doesn't really exist if you're using any form of social media, like XDA).
Things changed. Android is more polished now than the Nexus days.

I've tried CrDroid, SparkOS and EvolutionX. Arrow OS website is down so couldn't. CrDroid is good but I don't like the look of It, EvolutionX and SparkOS are actually very similar. The reason I picked Spark OS over It is because It actually implemented Dolby Atmos that this phone supports. That's actually the only reason. But I do like that Evolution X has OTA updates. If they add Dolby Atmos I'll switch to It but for now SparkOS It Is.
Edit: Arrow OS not down anymore I'll give It a try and update you on It
I flashed Arrow OS and If I'm honest It's way behind SparkOS and EvolutionX. CONS: Example1: I can't change the size of my icons on the home screen. Example: It's running android 13.0 compared to 13.2 on the other two. Example3: Dolby Atmos nowhere to be found. Example4: Can't disable icons in the top bar like NFC. Example5: No battery health info and no charging info on the lockscreen (wattage, mah, etc.). I'd probably find more with a bit more testing, but I don't like It I'm definetly switching back to SparkOS though there are some PRO's for arrowOS. Since It's so lightweight It has better scores in antutu benchmarks by about 100k and apparently better stability and battery life. That's about It really If you're wondering which Custom ROM to install currwntly, go for either SparkOS or EvolutionX. That's my recommendation. They're both very stock with neat extra features. If you game a lot (more or less just Genshin Impact on Ultra) than ArrowOS is probably for you. If you are a casual gamer (COC, CR, PUBG, COD, etc.) stick with the other two. If you want the newest features sooner get the one of the other two, because the build of android is 2 months newer.
ANTUTU SCORES:
Evolution X and SparkOS: both very close 560000
ArrowOS: 660000
Both results are rounded by about 2K just so It's easier to follow.
And yes these are the best most optimized and most reliable ROM's for POCOF4 out right now so choose between these. Can't wait for Pixel Experience Plus Official to come out. We'll see how that's gonna compare to these three.
Hope this helps anyone who's wondering which one to install.
Edit: I discovered a benchmark and gaming feature under battery settings in SparkOS and EvolutionX which when enabled lifts antutu score to 640000 on SparkOS and to 690000 on EvolutionX. Now It should be a no brainer get the SparkOS or EvolutionX.
PS: I switched to EvolutionX because of better battery life and I just installed Dolby Atmos through Magisk.
Seems no XDA theard of CorvusOS , why?
Hi,

Question ROM Suggestions

Hi everyone, I would like to know if you have suggestions for a Stable ROM for Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. My last experience of Flashing is from 2018 for Samsung S7. Pixel Experience Plus seems nice, but if you guys know of a more stable or a SuperLite version, I would save me some time reading. Thanks a lot..

Yes , the Android 12 versions are quite stable
Haven't tested Android 13 as it's quite recent
as for me , i prefer crdroid. but our device development pretty quite.
For me it's xiaomi.eu rom
There is a bunch of ajustements
For other aosp os's i can't find special features that could make me change
Especially the estetical point i prefer xiaomi.eu customisation
Xiaomi.eu ROMs features (what's not in Global):
Based on China/Global Stable builds
3way reboot menu (in dev settings)
MIUI Contacts and Dialer
Removed ads in MIUI system apps
MIUI Dialer and Messages apps
Steps counter in Assistant screen
More shortcuts on left lockscreen
Wake up gestures for all devices
Option to auto-expand first notification
Notifications priority settings
More edit options in Gallery app
Enabled MiDrive in File Explorer
Google apps support integrated
Removed 5GHz region restrictions
Confirm dials from call logs
Morning report on alarm at morning
More apps supported for AOD notifications
More styles for AOD screen
Raise to wake gesture
AOD notification received animation
Tap fingerprint sensor to wake toggle
Double tap to lock screen
Battery AI scenes
Allowed disabling specific system apps
Importing theme .mtz from zhuti.xiaomi.com via ThemeManager
No useless Chinese bloatware apps
More free RAM due to less background processes
Mi Video, Mi Music, Mi Browser: No any useless Chinese content and ads
No possibility to re-lock bootloader accidentally with flash any xiaomi.eu release
Added real 27 languages translation made by Official MIUI Fansites and MIUI Fans
Added EU T9 dialer support
Added charging sound switch
Optimized GPS settings for EU
Optimized Battery consumption
Optimized RAM consumption
Added GSMalphabet into SMS app options
SafetyNet passed by default without ROOT (Google Pay)
Play Store Certified
Deodexed
Added automated tasks in Security app
Widevine L1 (for supported devices)
And more, and more made by our 10 years MIUI mods experience.
xiaomi.eu rom is impressive

wow mate this is loaded info, thanks.. I'm getting sick of the ads from Xiaomi UI now, and forcing me to use their apps on the UI without an option to uninstall them. maybe I'll check this one out. thanks alot.
Spoiler: Suggetions Detail
for suggestions from others, Is there some other ROM for Mi 11 Lite 5G NE that features bloatware free, and really stable enough? Thanks all..
You are welcome
That's the best thing in xiaomi.eu roms
No ads
I saw also that in the stock rom themes now are payable
Which is not a problem in xiaomi.eu rom because of the import mtz feature in themes app
I love also the timeless aod

It appears Xiaomi.eu ROMs is another Forum, could you link me to your specific ROM Post? Thanks!
is it this one MIUI 14 Stable?
I'm actually choosing between these two, Pixel OS (Stable) and Xiaomi.eu
Pixel OS is quite pulling me because I get to have the Pixel Experience and there are over 171K Views which could mean more users, on the other hand your suggestion, Xiaomi.EU is also something that is already dedicated to my unit, with MIUI that I like better than Samsung's One UI, besides the Bloatware and Ads of course.
Still, I'm doing my research and your inputs are valuable to me because you have already done what I am about to do, once again after several years. I'm still looking on TWRP setups too, seems quite different now. There's this method that I have to register my account to my device through Developer Options, that I don't remember doing on my Samsung S7 before. I'll also have to look on possible Brick incidents, I surely don't want that.
Mny Thanks..
Both PixelOS and Xiaomi.eu are great roms. You should try them both. Plus both roms have zero bloatware/ads.
I am on xiaomi.eu 14.0.8.0 and the experience has been great!
this is the latest build download file for lisa
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-eu-multilang-miui-roms/files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv14/xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11LE_XM11Lite5GNE_V14.0.8.0.TKOCNXM_v14-13.zip/download
you have to unlock your bootloader at first via the program mi flash unlock
follow youtube tutos you have to wait 127 hours i think to could do that and you will loss all your data
so you have to backup your photos and stuff
the decent recovery existing till now is developped by Dkpost3 that we thank by the way
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...overy-3-7_012-new-a13-aosp-beta-test.4557313/
for aosps like pixel os you should know that there is bugs and things that are not working or can stop working in the latest builds, this is not happening with xiaomi,eu roms (you feel like it's official or maybe a better experience)
I'm currently running Paranoid Android Topaz 1 on my phone now. It is pretty good and close to stock Android experience, including AOD and animations. Make my phone feel A LOT faster and smoother than regular xiaomi or xiaomi.eu roms.

There's a massive development happening outside XDA! On Telegram, search for Xiaomi11LiteNEUpdates
Personally I use Pixel OS, but considering the switch to ColtOS. I didn't like Xiaomi.eu because I hate how MIUI handles animations/notifications as well as the inability to use gestures with non-stock Android launchers.

Actually, no. I live in Egypt and all of my banking apps works, albeit without root, obviously.
AND, even if you're rooted, you can use Shamiko to hide root successfully. You can find it here: https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed.github.io/releases
