Question Google Photos consumes a lot of battery - Realme GT Master Edition

I have recently purchased the GT Master Edition and I am doing very well. I noticed that Google Photos consumes a lot of battery, about 5%. I tried to check in the settings but the automatic start cannot be disabled, does anyone have the same problem as me or know how to fix it?

@Pippo_02
HELLO !!!!!!
I too have the same battery drain problem.
Download this app and see the "real capacity" of your battery !
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery&hl=fr
My phone is new and I realized that I was at 45% of its real capacity !
And my phone is 100% charged
Maybe a problem with the C.06 update
The Realme has 2 batteries, so I couldn't tell you !

I think yours is a software problem. My problem is not that the battery does not last long, it is that Google photo consumes too much battery, it had even consumed 15% on 100% recharging. I solved by uninstalling it, but I would like to have it because I used it to look at photos instead of the stock app ...

@Pippo_02
If you solved the problem, great !
Otherwise, if one day you have a similar problem, in the application you have an awesome tool that shows you the discharge speed for each application, in percentage and in mA !

In the realmeUI these features are already present, without the need for third-party apps

[Q] Battery Calibration Question for Classic v0.0.9

Sorry, I can't post in the ROM thread yet. Just wondering if I need to calibrate the battery every time I pull the battery. I ask because I use a wall charger for my batteries.
I have three that I rotate so I always have a fresh one with me. I feel a lot better letting the wall charger do the work so its one less thing the EVO has to do. No wear and tear on the port too.
If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Che
No, you just need to calibrate the battery each time you flash the rom; pulling the battery is fine.
Thanks. Wasn't sure if it needed to be done for each battery every time since they are different ages and have limited lifespans.
I've been doing it every time and have been getting amazing battery life. Could be the new ROM too.

I use to calibrate the battery as well until I read heard about by wiping it doesn't do anything... Correct me if I'm wrong.. just throwing that out there..
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
To be honest, I'm not 100% on what exactly happens during battery calibration.
I thought it was something done to the phone; how it saw the limits of the battery; and not something done to the battery it self.
Any one who knows a little more about it feel free to correct me.

What to do with new battery

What to do with a new biiger battery 2900mAh instead of 1500mAh must i recalibrate the baytery syats to get max out of my battery?
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda app-developers app
0. photo it from all sides, especially new back cover and post here!
1. first couple of cycles 0-100%
2. use an app from 'mugen power' in store, it supports several different batteries
Are chinese batteries like this one legit?

Its the phone's radio, the one responsible for functions such as calls, messages and mobile data . it is required to maintain the phone signal . Based on the stats as the person above said its your live wallpaper causing the wake locks. Baseband xmm power is normal usage I suppose.

It can also be an alarm/notification that is causing it. I've had this issue before and it was an app that gave notifications in the background without actually showing you the notifications.
In my case I think it was the V-Pet app (my gf has nostalgia with Digimon ). Notifications were disabled but it was still sending them out hidden to the system.
Somewhere in my post history is help regarding this issue. If you need help I'll go dig that thread out

Hello
Just bought the htc m8 a month ago and has been an amazing phone. Except for the past few days the battery has started to drain way faster without any use. I installed gsam battery stats and added some screen shots.. Any help would be appreciated.

What programs are you install recently? Maybe problem is in one of them? Try to delete programs one for another which were installed recently.
But based on your screenshots (and assuming) you do use your phone from time to time than I think its fine
But do you have a custom kernel installed? If yes, have you tried to turn off pocket protection? It may help
Well i found the source of my problem. It was HTC Checkin Service that was draining my battery. Anybody know what i can do about this to fix problem? I tried greenify but that didnt work.

Try disabling the service, if ca't maybe freeze it using titanium backup?
But I think that should be some rogue app that's trying to make use of that service but I'm not very sure. I don't have that issue on sense based rom nor stock at all

Phone always awake & massive battery drain

So I've had this problem for a while now where the phone would be awake for longer than my screen has been on. I would usually get around 10-12% of standby drain overnight.
But since this morning the problem has gotten way worse; the phone has been awake for pretty much every second with 20% overnight drain (I've attached a screenshot below).
How should I go about troubleshooting the issue?
I'm using the Indian variant with 6 gb and I'm currently on MIUI 10.0.2.

Battery Drain Because of Continue High Cpu Frequency Bug
Some Persons Solve this Bug in Miui 10.0.3.
Not solved!
I have also Redmi Note 5 global version with latest MIUI 10.2.1.0 stable and no root just unlocked bootloader and face the same problem!
A big thumb down to Xiaomi.
Maybe chinese try to spy people? Bugs like this should be addressed asap but it seems they are still in place, version after version.
With this big battery we should not face issues of this kind and have battery life over 2 days if this bugs would be resolved!
There a question in my mind: why the hell all manufacturers go for encapsulated phones where you cannot take the battery out??? Devices need current nonstop, even when they're off, for what??? Conspiracy?
Still, what we should do in order to repair our problems, without rooting if it is possible! I know rooting solves a lot of bugs but I'd like to keep it simple.
Something is running in background, try to figured out which app is awake by looking into running services under developer option and then close running applications
S.off your phone for 5 mins and then reboot your device
