Series 6 How To Active ECG in Apple Watch 7 iOS 15.4.1 In Any Country or Forbidden Country - Apple Watch

hello i am from a region that cant active the ecg or Oxygen blood please help me to fix this issue.

It's not possible I guess. I didn't find any working method on the world wide web.

To activate ECG on your Apple Watch 7 running iOS 15.4.1 in any country, including forbidden countries, you will need to first make sure that your watch is paired with an iPhone running iOS 15.4.1. Once your watch is paired, open the Health app on your iPhone and tap "Health Data." Then tap "Heart" and then tap "Electrocardiogram (ECG)." You will then see a toggle switch to enable ECG. Once it is enabled, you will be able to use ECG on your Apple Watch 7.

Set Country as INDIA.
That's IT.

It is important to note that using features such as ECG on Apple Watch 7 may be restricted in certain countries due to regulatory requirements. However, if ECG is available in your country or you are willing to take the risk of using it in a forbidden country, you can follow these steps to activate ECG on your Apple Watch 7 with iOS 15.4.1:
Update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest version of iOS and watchOS respectively.
Open the Health app on your iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions to set up ECG.
Place your Apple Watch 7 on your wrist and open the ECG app.
Follow the instructions on the app to take an ECG reading.
If ECG is not available in your country, you may need to use a VPN to access the feature. However, it is important to note that using a VPN to access restricted features may violate the terms of service and could potentially put your device and personal information at risk. It is recommended to use caution and ensure that you are complying with local laws and regulations.

Hi Thanks for the advice! I managed to set up!

Huawei Wear App

I was wondering what data others are able to see using the Huawei Wear app. I seem to only get fitness minutes, steps, time, distance. In google play, the description says that it records sleep time and character as well. See description from Google Play below... -cjr-
--------------------------------.
Huawei Wear is an integrated Huawei wearable product application data and services, to provide users with a complete, consistent, convenient experience.
Currently able to support Huawei Talkband series、Colorband series, and more wearable products will be supported later.(Colorband only support the above Android4.3)
For Huawei Wear APP, you can
1) Record your steps, calories, exercise distance and exercise time everyday
2) Intelligent motion timeline will tell you the amount of exercise every movement period
3) Record your sleep time everyday including deep sleep, light sleep and awake times
4) Exercise target settting
5) Share your sports data with your friends
same for me. i don't understand why sleep monitoring doesn't work between huawei watch and huawei wear...???
Most likely because not many people wear their watch to bed.
You have to understand this app supports other smartwatches from Huawei, particularly other focused on fitness. Those must support sleep time features. The Huawei Watch probably doesn't.
It has to be used in conjunction with Huawei health app. Then in Huawei wear you'll see a "Go to Huawei Health...". It'll have to sync, but you'll find the sleep data there. This is on Android. I have no experience on IOS
Mine works. I don't know how accurate it is and It's a software nightmare... but it works. It should be redesigned but that's were it's at. I found this looking to add functions under Function customization. I don't know if it'll really do that but it would be nice.

Watch face download for one watch only?

As it appears to me, watch faces have to be independently downloaded for more than one watch. I have Active 1 and Galaxy Watch, and although the Galaxy Store wish list can be shared, the downloaded faces cannot. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Yes, they have to be downloaded and installed independently on different devices. When a seller submits a new watch face on the market, he has to specify on which devices/resolutions the app will work. The 360x360 is suitable for Gear S2, S3, Sport, Watch, Watch Active, but won't work on Gear Fit for example. Besides that, you are talking about intstalling programs on two different devices. They function like the other devices, e.g the computers. You can not istall a program on your PC and on your laptop simultaneously just by one click.

Thanks. I'm not expecting to install them simultaneously, but did not want to pay separately to install on two watches if not required. It seems like both watches are somewhat isolated from each other - no shared files.

How to install watchfaces on Honor band 5 and Huawei Watch GT

Hi all,
Someone manages to install the custom watchfaces on the honor band 5.
1. Create Chinese Huawei ID
2. Download and install Beta version Huawei Health
3. Pair your phone with your Honor Band 5 or Huawei Watch GT
4. Go to "Watch faces", disable Themes service and set phone language to English
5. Once again go to "Watch faces", enable Themes service and upload your custom Watchface (.hwt file)(can be downloaded from the below given source)
Important note: you need to repeat steps 4 and 5 every time you want to upload new watchface. Is place only for one custom watchface, once you upload new one, old one will be replaced.

I've tried Chinese ID, Hong Kong (China) ID, UK ID, all linked to different emails. ... still not Watch Face store on my Health App,
Honor Band 5 Firmware 1.1.0.120
Health App 10.0.2.511
Huawei P20 Pro Global Version & Huawei P30 Pro Global Version
So disappointed
Clear Health App Data & Cache
Uninstall Health App
Logout of Current ID
Login to Country Specific ID
Reboot
Add Back Health App (Health Beta from the forum cannot be installed on my CLT-L29 (P20 Pro) and VOG-L29 (P30 Pro) for some reason.
Health App has 2 screen for confirming Bluetooth Access and Terms and Conditions, nowhere could one select the Service Region nor change the Service Region in the Health App
I've tried the Health App default in Phone, the Health App from Google Play Store and the Health App from Huawei App Gallery
Could Huawei have removed this important feature from the firmware?
This is rather ridiculous because this is one of the key features one would look for in a "smart" watch or a "smart" health band that advertises this capability.
There is one site mentioning to use UK ID, I will get my band in a day or two so I can't confirm it yet. In case you guys manage to do that kindly let me know

Sorry to be harsh but get rid of the phone and get a Samsung model - for two reasons (#2 is actually more important):
1. For instance, the default (or any) alarm clock snooze etc. features on the watch vs. phone DO NOT WORK unless the Samsung Clock on the Samsung Watch is talking to the Samsung (or just Android - not third party clock) on the Samsung phone. (That is my experience). Does anyone know how much of this functionality is actually available from public Google API's as part of the OS so that different vendors can have different apps (such as one clock app talking to another clock app for properly handing the snooze/alarm time change/etc other functionality)? Those API's are publicly available (Google trying to encourage software development) so I could dig up the answer but don't want to bother (sorry! - please look and report back on this thread if you like).
2. It was announced on the news recently (I saw it just yesterday) that the US government finally have documented proof of a "smoking gun" example of a Huawai phone having been accessed by the Chinese government using a back door built into the phone. Google the news stories and read the details for yourself if you do not believe me!

FFS the US Government spies on every other nation on the planet. Where is the "smoking gun" with documented proof? Do you really believe everything your goverment or Google tells you? Has it never occurred to you that this smear campaign by the POTUSA may have other reasons? Maybe Huawei is refusing to pass data onto the US spy agencies.

NFC get working on GT2 Pro

Any workaround for NFC working in EU?
We shall rise this question up. Since GT2, we did not get support of NFC outside of China region.
After I playing around the watch with several versions (current/old/beta) of China Huawei Health app, I believe it is a region and firmware lock on non-CN version GT2 Pro.
Basically, the app detect my GT2 Pro is saled in EU, so it provide the firmware update for EU model, even though the hardware inside all models should be the same (all have NFC chip).
The same issue comes with the 301 heart health app, which available for China model, and it allows the watch uses your heart rate data to diagnose premature atrial contraction and sleep apnea, which is a key feature advertised in China for these huawei smart bands and watches.
Again, you might guess, CN GT2 Pro model support this function. And my EU GT2 Pro was locked for this app to recognise.
Since Huawei EU offical state they will not support full NFC functions outside of China.
The only possible workaround is somebody with high skill, that able to flash Chinese firmware into EU model, which might unlock all these NFC cards, alipay, and heart health app functions. If that's still not working, then it will also required to trick the Huawei Health app to believe the EU model as a CN model.
I am not capable of doing these works, but people in this forum might be dig deeper into this topic.

Don't think that will be possible.. Don't understand huawei why they doin these restrictions..
It could be due to the restriction of certain regions, such as the functions of heart health app could be not approved by other country governments, as it is a feature related to human healthcare.
For example, it might require FDA approval to activate this function in USA, just like what Apple watch has done; likewise, the ECG function of apple watch is disabled in China model, because it did not gain the approval by the China government, but people still been allowed to flash US firmware to enable this feature on China model.
I don't have a EU huawei phone, so I am not sure how NFC of huawei phone is like. But I don't understand why NFC is not enabled in non-CN region, simply not make sense.
When you buy a product with its full function limited, Huawei just pissed off its customers, the fault of terrible closed ecosystem.
A small update on heart health app:
I have to install the huawei Health app first to connect my watch to my phone; then install the Heart Health app. Fot CN model, by that time, the second app will automatically connect to your phone-linked watch. But for my situion, what this app said to my watch is: the app does not support current version of this watch. So it is not connecting to my watch.
However, if I using a older beta version of Huawei health app, to connect to my watch; the Heart Health app can actually connected to my watch, but it is not able actually to perform the diagnose, showing error when activated.
So I suspect there are two major problems await resolve.
First, that is a software lock based on newer version of Huawei Health app, which refuse the EU watch to connect to Heart Health app.
Second, the firmware provided to EU model is missing the code for proper heart health function (and of course the rest functions like NFC). So must have Chinese firmware flushed into the watch. And surprisingly, it has multi. language support. What a strange decision.
I own a GT2 not pro, i don't know if anyone is still reading, bear with me if I say something stupid because I'm a complete amateur but I think this could be useful. I think the options are there but hidden. For example two weeks ago I purcheased a watchface i liked with dual timezone but I can't find the option in the menu to set it, some watchface are customizable and I came across another one orribile but that allowed me. I tried to set the timezone and it changed to the one I set on the other face as well. Today I found by chance one that had the alipay logo on it so I decided to experiment and purchased it (you can look it up on the store, it is called "little summer night"). The face doesn't allow you to customise the shortcuts but the alipay one seems to actually work, I don't speak Chinese and the English language in the alipay app is beta so the bare minimum is translated but it seems i was successful in pairing the watch.
Yes, indeed. After successfully access Alipay via certain watchface, now, the only missing part is nfc.
