Question A32 Bootlooping? - Samsung Galaxy A32 4G

Hi, my A32 suddenly started to bootloop. ( Without rooting or anything like that. ) Is there a way to recover it without losing data? I can't turn it on to get to developers mode to enable usb debugging or anything so I'm worried about tripping Knox.
Any suggestions? Thank you, it's much appreciated! =)

unfortunately not my friend, probably your mobile has corrupted the boot partition. Like it or not, you will have to erase your data to recover your cell phone.

Nope. I've done nothing to the phone like that. Everything is stock. So if my Knox is 0x0 currently, using Odin & flashing won't trip Knox?

Okay so ive almost the exact same thing, phone stuck in boot loop and the only other screen i can get to is the odin screen, but when i install something through odin it still is stuck in a bootloop, does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this, the phone does not have usb debugging enabled so i cant use any adb commands, any fixes?

You've got to flash this kernel, in CWM (Custom CWM)
http://www1.zippyshare.com/v/82719203/file.html
Is a free Knox Kernel for XXUEMK4 compilation.
If you're still getting Knox notification, then you've got to remove all Knox apps in /system/app with Root Explorer.

you can use "cf-auto-root":http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip

Dont root usinf the CA as it will just make the knox counter as 1 . If you are having warranty then that would be void and there is no way resetting the knox now

sorry i am confused now.
first i need to get working CWM without voiding a knox.
second yes i am gonna use your kernel. (Patched_N7100_MK4_KERNEL) because it is safe one, and after all it will leave knox warranty = 0
am i right ?
also pop me a link to cwm as with philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5 odin gives me an error. ''File Invalid. ''

CWM will not void Knox neither your warranty.
CWM is just for flash that Kernel I gave you and also SuperSU.
In the download mode you need to run Odin and select the PDA box and then put the md5 file.
And will raise Knox warranty from 0 to 1 (No more warranty)
And sorry my english, I'm from Venezuela

Sorry, I misunderstood the question. CWM will raise the counter.
i see. so your method is not good for me either. Got warranty for 1 more year and cwm raises KNOX counter to 1
i can also use CF-Autoroot it gives same result counter =1 ....
None of them are good than. Any other methods ?

if you have official 4.3 on your phone and the you have valid warranty don't flah
anything or you will lose the warranty. you have knox on bootloader too and if you try to flash something the flag trigger change from 0 to 1 and your warranty is gone. forget about root by the moment.

Any hope left? Bricked Note 2, Help?

I have a big problem with my Note 2.
It is completely frozen at the Galaxy Note screen when it very first turns on. It also freezes at the rotating circle when I plug it in to the charger.
I can access Download/ODIN Mode. I have tried flashing 4.3 again, Odin succeeded but it changed nothing.
I have tried and can not access recovery mode before/after the 4.3 flash.
I have a feeling I'm completely screwed, buy maybe not? What can I do?
Thanks!

Quickest easiest thing to try is flash (via ODIN) a custom recovery. TWRP or CWM, doesn't matter.

Yes, I tried this too. Did not work.
Also, (I bought this off a friend btw), in download mode it says Knox Warranty Void: 1
what's this mean?

It means Knox security that was implemented detected something it did not like. Like maybe rooting.
Really not to much of a deal since warranty is probably not an option for you since you got it from someone else.
On my phone and not a lot of time. In this forum find a thread by me about getting to MK6 OTA via 4.1.1 stock.
I think it's post #2 that talks about param/tz file. Download that and flash via ODIN
That should work

Won't power on!

Hey guys I was working on using odin to root my 10.1 and it wasn't working. So i decided to try a factory reset and try odin from a fresh install. My device powered down to do the wipe and now it won't come back on. If i hold the power button the "galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition" screen shows up and then the device just turns off again. How do I fix this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm freaking out a bit.
What root method were u trying ? Which version of galaxy note 10.1 2014 do you have p600, p605, p601 etc ? Did you use appropriate rom for your note?
It seems it is soft brick, it is not irrecovable problem, you can fix it by odin, i am not sure how, you should research about it.
I can get into odin mode. but that is it.

Good news now look up some topics about soft brick, if you can enter download mode in odin you can fix it but i am not expert on android i could not remember step by step and how.
I had experinced brick problem in my n8000 galaxy note old thats why i had researched so much thing one year ago, it was hard brick and did not enter even download mode, lucky you, it enters download mode Which means soft brick. You can reflash your custom rom easily. Please look at topics about soft brick.

Safest way to root would be to Odin a custom recovery then flash SuperSu zip file. It is much safer than the old CFautoroot way.

I would think the Safest way to root would involve not using Odin. Ie. Towelroot (as applicable to your device, at this time)

S9 crashes if it goes into locked screen [ROOTED]

Hey Community,
Im new here and got a big problem with my s9.
I rooted it today with magisk, just recovered my backup.
Then i noticed that always when the phone is looking to locked screen it just crash and i cant start it (only with Volume up + Bixby + Power Button and then there choose the reboot function)
Would be great if someone know the reason why this happens.
Regards

Probably something to do with restoring your backup

Download the stock firmware, extract it, add all 4 sections to ODIN 3.13.1, do not use HOME_CSC, use CSC instead, put phone in download mode, flash

Have you found a Fix to this? What software did you use for rooting? Did you install a custom recovery?
For me this exact thing happens with TWRP and magisk. On the TWRP Thread jesec pointed out that rooting without flashing a custom kernel will most likely cause issues.
Was hoping you may have found a solution

if you're returning it to Google they don't really care if it's locked or not. I've sent them back for an RMA both ways never had any problems
Agree, relocking shouldn't be needed for a RMA...
Just make sure your device is completely stock at the very least.
Personally, I'd flash the factory images to both slots and lock the bootloader. However, if others have suggested they don't have any issues sending it back with the bootloader unlocked, then just flash the factory images.
Although, it is just one command to lock it (just be absolutely sure you're completely stock before locking, if you go that route).

You could download the OTA zip and move it to your data folder with a root explorer type app, then flash it with twrp. Will twrp not decrypt without screen lock security?

That's exactly why I never unlock the bootloader, root, install custom ROMs, etc. I don't want to be in the situation where I can't use my warranty or insurance.

My bootloader was unlocked and it was not an issue. I sent my phone back and got a new phone in 6 days. I guess it would also depend on where you live. I live on the east coast and sent my phone to Texas and they sent me a new one from Illinois.
