Every time there is a flash Message on the screen it closes the current app and appears on the screen regardless of what you are doing in your device, which is very furstrating and annoying. Does anyone have any idea on this please share.

Hi.
As the title says, I am having problems with freezing/lockups when receiving/sending SMS. It only happens with large message treads (300-800 msgs in tread).
To the problem, when I receive a new SMS and open it to read it, every thing is fine, but when I press the back button to exit, nothing happens for a while, then the screen goes black, and after a while a popup ask to force close or wait for program to respond. This can take from 10-45 seconds, mostly the latter.
If I just enter a msg tread, without recieving a new SMS or sending one, every thing works like a charm.
I am running Leedroid 3.08.02 on a HTC Desire/Bravo. And have 60Mb free memory. Also had this problem in Leedroid 3.07.
Did a full wipe of the phone when upgrading, and then restored my SMS.
PS. I am posting here since newbies arent allowed to post in developers section.

I had a similar issue using Go SMS on Leedroid 3.0.8.2. Sometimes when exiting SMS, phone would reboot. Didn't really solve it, just assumed it might be because memory was pretty full and/or caused by really long message threads.
Have been trying out LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.1 - Port today, sms seem to be snappier with no lag but then I have lost all the long threads when I swapped.

Same problem here, with the same ROM...
I have some similar problems. My phone freezes once a day. Did you try a different radio? I am thinking of doing so.
I notice it less in 4.0.4, but it's still here. Here's what happens:
Sometimes if I have a thread open, I can either start typing and then all typing will stop, or no typing will start from the get go. What I mean is I tap the keys and nothing shows up in the message box. In build 28 I had this happen only from the get go once in a while, now it also happens sometimes when I'm part way through a message. The only way to fix it is by hitting back to go to the main messaging screen and going back to my thread. If I do this with a partially written message then all the text is erased when I go back. Highly annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a fix?
I have problems with this on my SII, but i ran CM9 for a while and I don't remember it happening there so i think it is AOKP specific.
hi guys, i got a d855 and i have some issues which i think they may be stock rom's bugs and i d like to hear your opinion. I have the latest ota V10h-EUR-XX btw.
1) Every time i restart it appears in the notification panel the "voice mate" shortcut. I remove it using the edit at far right but still it reappears every time i reboot the phone.
2) Sometimes after an unanswered call or message the screen turns on as usual but it doesnt turn off. Ofc i ve selected to shut off at 30 seconds from the settings. Even if i change the settings to like 15 seconds the screen still wont turn off unless i manually lock it. This problem fixes if i restart the phone.
3) Every time i boot my phone i get this message: "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
So is there someone else who experiences these kind of issues?

You're having permissions issues.
I'd bet my left testicle that a fresh flash back to stock will fix all 3 of your issues.

I've encountered the screen on issue - although not only did the screen stay on after a missed call, the phone also became and remained completely non-responding, no screen input registered. Had to reboot manually. It happened only once in 3 weeks though.

Im having an issue with two apps in particular that freeze the app/sometimes phone. First facebook - when typing a message when it pulls up a tag to suggest a person's name to tag it freezes the app and i must back out of the message. Second - just surfing in instagram it will freeze lockup the whole app. I've tried cache cleaning. I've really enjoyed this phone so far, the frequency that I use these two apps though its becoming more frustrating. anyone else encountered this.

Yeah, I have seen this as well with Instagram. Randomly happens. Locks up and have to force quit the app. Latest updates have not helped either. I have also noticed when using immersive mode, and doing an instagram story, you cannot add text. Not that has anything to do with your issues, but just a heads up.

I keep seeing a pop up at the bottom of my screen every few minutes that says "unable to connect" . I see it on my home screen and also while in apps. I can't figure out what is causing it to happen. Has anyone else had this?
I also keep having sound issues where I lose sound for minutes at a time. Do not know if this is connected.

That sounds like an application problem not a hardware or ROM issue. You installed something on your phone that's causing this to occur, or it's your WiFi. Impossible to tell what's wrong with the limited amount of info you provided.
