Nokia 6.1 ADB push/sideload "No Devices Found" error - Nokia 6.1 (2018) Questions & Answers

Hello. I recently unlocked the bootloader on my Nokia 6.1 phone and booted a modified TWRP installation, which I used to wipe my phone as recommended here:
https://www.howtogeek.com/348545/how-to-install-lineageos-on-android/ (Step 4)
Now I only have TWRP on partition A and Download Mode.
Question is: How do I transfer LineageOS or any Zip file to /sdcard?
TWRP's ADB Sideload fails after loading for some minutes.
Doing "adb sideload lineage.zip" or "adb push lineage.zip /sdcard" will display "Error: no devices found". I can't make adb work after booting into TWRP, but it also won't work when doing this via fastboot.
I am a bit lost here and would like it if someone could help me install LineageOS on my phone or at least clear this issue.

Once tried in windows 11 I faced same situation,
But in windows 10 worked out well (but I installed Lineage Os recovery)

How to transfer a zip on my sdcard without adbsideload

I everyone,
I need your help, I tried to install a new rom (AICP : this one) , and somehow forgot to do a backup.
When I boot I only get the swirling logo, never get to fully load.
The phone is not bricked, I can still access the bootloader / fastboot and my recovery, so I could simply flash another rom... but I can't figure how to get the zip file on the /sdcard.
I can't use adb sideload or push, I have HTC sync and android sdk installed, I have no problem to use fastboot commands, so I guess I don't have any driver problem, but adb devices never shows my phone (Tried while off, booted on bootloader, on fastboot, and on recovery, never shows up when I try adb devices)
On windows I get a driver error when plugging my phone while in recovery, but I don't find how to install it.
So... is there a way to mount the /sdcard/ as an external drive in windows or ubuntu ? Or do you have a workaround for adb ?
Thanks a lot !

Help! TWRP "cant mount .*" boot loop

Hi all.
After OTA upgrade to android 6 of unlocked unrooted nexus 7 2013 WiFi i decided to unlock and install twrp.
I used adb and fastboot to flash version 2.8.7.
It went smooth but after reboot to recovery, twrp shell returns "can't mount *" for all partitions. And the device is bootlooping into this state (unless I boot into bootloader).
The worst part is that my pc wont recognise the tablet when connected. Adb devices returns an empty list. So i cant even flash stock recovery or do anything uing adb/fastboot.
HELP!!!!
[solved] falshed factory image manually using fastboot
It seems fastboot recognized the device while adb/pc couldn't.
I downloaded Android 6 factory image from google and flashed-all that.
Just updating in case some other noob who doesn't fully understand adb/fastboot relations.

Oneplus 3, failing with ADB backup and TWRP

Hi,
I want to backup my Oneplus 3 using TWRP/ADB.
ADB has been freshly installed from PlatformTools and is running fine, if the phone is in regular (unrooted) OxygenOS (8.0.0)
After installing TWRP 3.3.1-0-oneplus3.img using fastboot, then directly booting into recovery, the device does not show up in "ADB devices -l".
1) What is the reason for the device not showing up?
2) Even though I booted directly into TWRP after installation OOS reflashes stock recovery. What did I miss?
Thanks for you input

How to copy/backup internal storage from recovery adb shell? Stuck at boot logo.

Here's my situation -
I was using my Whyred (Redmi Note 5 Pro) and it suddenly hung, so i tried forced reboot by long pressing the power key. But after that, the device never booted. It is stuck at MI bootlogo. I tried going to recovery, the recovery is also stuck at the Recovery Bootlogo (ie, OrangeFox Recovery Project logo as i am using OrangeFox Recovery), then i tried going to Fastboot and it shows a blank screeen with only the LCD backlight.
Device gets detected in 'fastboot devices' when in fastboot blank screen and also gets detected in 'adb devices' as a recovery device when stuck at recovery logo from a windows pc. The Bootloader was unlocked and i was using a custom ROM, Havoc OS Mod - last Pie build with OrangeFox Recovery and was rooted using Magisk. I didn't update the rom or firmware since past 4-5 months. I also tried "fastboot boot recovery.img" with 3 different recoveries (twrp, orangefox and skyhawk), but all of them gets stuck at their respective recovery logos and gets detected in adb devices on pc.
I have important files on my internal storage which i want very badly. It wasn't backed up (my bad:crying::crying. So i want to copy/backup the internal storage of the device to my pc before attempting to repair the device and after backing up i want to fix the device.
My Problem -
When the device is struck at recovery logo, i connect it to my pc and it gets detected as a recovery device on running "adb devices" and i can use adb shell. on writing "ls" in adb shell all the different directories gets listed but when i "cd" to storage, sdcard and some other directories they are empty. when i type 'su' in adb shell,it shows "/sbin/sh: su: not found" . "adb root" also doesn't work as it shows to allow permission on device and then terminates. I read online that i need root access in adb to see system files in adb shell which i am not able to get as the device is stuck at bootlogo. i want to use "adb pull" to copy my internal storage to my pc before attempting any repairs.
I have attached the screenshots of "fastboot getvar all" command.
So, looking at my situation, how do i backup my internal storage to my pc? I really want those files on the internal storage.
Is there any way i can get/backup those files from internal storage from fastboot or adb or any other way?
Also, after backing up, how do i fix my device?
It was running fine without much problems before this. The storage was pretty close to being filled up, other than that i don't remember having any other problems with the phone. It hung suddenly while using and after forced rebooting, never booted again. how do i fix it from fastboot or recovery? i am thinking about formatting the device from fastboot and then trying to boot the recovery and then rom. I didn't try it as i wanted to backup internal storage first. Some people in other posts say that they weren't able to fix their device in similar situations. Please suggest the correct way to fix my device.
Please read my problem and help me to fix it. Your help would really mean a lot to me.
This is my first post on xda-developrs so please let me know if am making any mistakes.

ADB wont recognize my HTC M8 (no devices error), cant sideload a rom, please help!

Hi there.
I have tried several custom Roms this in the past (5 years ago) and everything worked fine and then reversed it and put back the original rom. Now I need this device for a backup and wanted to try the latest Lineage 17.1 ROM I have soft briked my device. Since I´ve wiped my data I dont have a ROM to boot to.... :crying:
When following this Lineage installation guide https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/m8/install I am stucked on the ADB Sideload procedure.
Every time I try the "adb sideload filename.zip" command I get the "no devices/emulators found" warning.
I have the latest TWRP (3.4.0.1) for my device, i tried installing HTC M8 drivers, Google ADB drivers, HTC Sync, nothing works, I can seem to make TWRP to connect to my PC.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance

I had a similar problem a few days ago, and uninstalling HTC Sync and HTC drivers from my PC solved it for me.

Hi folks,
can someone helps me? i'm having the same problem and i'm on this since 11 hours and nothing that i do make the adb sideload work. I have my Htc one m8 since it was out on 2014 and never root it. I manage to root it with the lineage installation guide because i didn't know anything about rooting. Now root is done, and twrp-3.5.2_9-0-m8 the latest version is intalled and i'm stuck on the command 'Sideload the LineageOS .zip package': it seems like the device is not found. This is the message that i got.

I have unnistall HTC Syn and its drivers many times then retry than reinstall them then retry but nothing work. My device is found and its sd card when i'm not on ADB sideload on TWRP. This is making me crazy!!!! I'm on windows 7. Thanks if someone can help
FINALLY!!!!
i manage to make the installation working!
Lineage team need to explain more precisely the installation process by giving where is needed some examples and give some other alternative methods. All the people don't understand the geecky language so you need to think like end users like us who didn't know anything about coding, command prompt expressions ect.... For exemple here:
"5 - Flash recovery onto your device:
fastboot flash recovery <recovery_filename>.img"
I thought doing this command " fastboot flash recovery <twrp-3.5.2_9-0-m8>.img " instead of " fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.5.2_9-0-m8.img " anyway...
For those in the same case like me in the future, the "adb sideload" stage didn't work for me. After some resarch sideloading is not nessessary. Just move or copy the LineageOS and Gapp into your phone or sd card then in TWRP choose install and select the files were you have put them and they will be installed like normal installation.
ADB Sideload stuck at 47%
Hi all I'm starting to suspect that the partition my recovery uses as temp storage is full. It gets stuck in the flashing process, I just tried side-loading with adb and it is now stuck, and has been for 1 hour. Latest message from ADB says...
