Question A13: Themed icon option is missing? - Google Pixel 6 Pro

Hi everyone,
for some reason I have no themed icon option in the settings.
I can only change wallpaper and system color.
Anyone has a fix for this?
Thanks!

Exactly...see attachment.

You also don't have grid spacing. Just to be sure (I'm sure you have but good to check) you've scrolled the page down right?
The obvious covered, I'm stumped. If you go into card mode and click the app info bubble, it says 13 at the bottom?

Are you using a launcher? Many of them won't support the themed icons and the switch will disappear. There are a few ways around this though

I am using Nova Launcher. But I thought since the release of A13 stable it does not depend on the launcher anymore?

i got the same here.not a big deal for me,i use klwp.

thats only work with pixel launcher as standaard.

Pro tip: turn the themed icons on using the pixel launcher. Then switch to the launcher of your choice. The themed icon switch will disappear but the system will still theme them because it's still switched on. Even post reboot. Profit

MIUI: Icons

Hi.
I was wondering if there is any way of reverting back to Android shaped icons for apps, as I am not fond of the default MIUI iPhoney style icons.
If yes, please explain.
Many Thanks.
Anyone?

Yes with MIUI you can do lots of customization, not to stick on with iPhone style.

The screenshot you attached shows icon in a Square box, this is what I do not want. I want it to be translucent and only showing icon shape. You know what I mean, kapeesh.
Icons very customisable, I'm sure you will find something to suit.
You can either use the theme manager on your phone, or find some here on XDA.. There are many icons, trust me
looks nice. what does miui stand for?
No disrespect, but why is this thread getting so much attention from noobies who have no clue what I'm talking about and pointing out the obvious and irellavent answers?

[Q] Just updated to kitkat - no transparent menu bar

Hi,
I just got a brand new nexus 7 32 wifi and it immediately offered to update to 4.4.2. Everything is working except I do not see the transparent menu bar so touted in kitkat upgrade. Is there some setting for it?

Only works on Nexus 5 with GEL.
Download Nova Launcher, it has the option to enable it.

Thanks for the replay. I searched for "Google launcher" in play store, but could not find anything by that name. There is a third party Go Launcher, I am not sure if you meant that.

[Q] Change navigation bar icons in the Theme app?

Hi guys, I've been trying to figure out how to change the icon of the navbar for a few days now, still have no clue. It would be nice to have the Stock Android look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I see some theme on the market which have the navbar icons changed, so I assume that it is possible to some options (which I don't know about) in the Theme app to do that without rooting my M9, right?
Thanks in advance
Create a Theme here under Maker Pro
That allows you to change all icons and navbar stuff. I think it does anyway.

Yeah I tried it a few days ago, it does let you change icons of a lots of popular apps, but I don't see any option for the navbar whatsoever

You have to use the pro -themer on the page.
Then nav icons and the clock widget have their own steps in the process.
Now... if someone can tell me how to hack the google icons inn instead of the choices htc give me... (they have one that is similar to stock but square is home and two circles indicate the task switcher. (and there is an ugly line on the back key))
i still can't find it

How to get Icon size small

even on changing DPI to 500 or even 550, Icon size does not reduce, the text on the phone becomes tiny but icons are still humongous, its really poor design, only other option is to use other launcher but there is no launcher with google no integration. please suggest me any launcher with google now integration.
You may nees to use custom theme, best i have tried and liked is mini os theme. As attached.

You can use the Rootless Launcher (Pixel Launcher) if you have the international version. It has the Google Now add-on, so that it looks just like a Pixel phone (short of the menus).

Before you chance to the rootless launcher, you have to go to the permissions of it and enabled them (I think there are two). Once you change the permissions, you should be able to change the default launcher and not receive those recovery error messages.

How to enable "auto-cutoff" for screenshot?

5 days into ultra I'm loving it.. except I take a lot of screenshots and I can't find where to enable function where status bar area is automatically cutoff.
I used the function on my note10 plus and I think it was in good lock app but can't find it.
Would love your help and if you didn't know this feature, try it!!

that's the toolbar to cut-off the status bar. What I mean is there was an option to cut-off, more exactly take screenshot without the status bar, by default.
