I really want to know it...I've searched everywhere for this Live Wallpaper, even just to see it...but never found it, and on the Asus Trasformer I didn't found it too!!!
Anyone have it or at least know where to find/see it???
I've tried to find an "alternative" to this semi live wallpapers
..and it's ok!!!
Download from the Play Sto re the "Day Night Live wallpaper" ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tneele.daynightlwp ) and with it you can set four different images who will change following the current daytime...so you can set the asus wallpapers from the original Day Scene live wall (I've found them here on xda) and you're done!
Use the day one for dawn/day and the other two for dusk and night..voilĂ !!!

Someone dev might have a look at this and port it. Let's hope for the best.

Yes...it's a very good thing to have a "SEMI" Live Wallpaper...theorically the battery will last more without "live" animations...
Anyway...with this trick the whole thing work like the original one: downloading this Live Wallpaper from the market and set a different ASUS image for a specific day time (dawn, day, dusk and night) result exactly the same live wallpaper as the original ASUS Day Scene...
Well...maybe a dev can work on the original one to make it compatible with S2...but for now this solution it's good...

[Q] Noob Questions

Hi
I posted this thread elsewhere, so, many apologies if I did this incorrectly
I have two Note II's. One I bought and rooted (Korean made) then had a few problems so I bought another (made in China - different sellers).
Anyway the first one is good now with PACMAN AOKP 4.2.2 the other still fully Samsung.
I cant get my work exchange email to work on either. Any recommendations for an app? Will happily pay if it will work.
secondly I would like to install a nice bootanimation on my rooted device, something tasteful like the mega droid walk. Will this work on my 4.2.2/ Have had issues installing any bootanimations so I rerooted and dont want to stuff it up again. any suggestions? No girls or cars. I am a woman (old) and I own a car. I want something clever.
As for boot animation there is an option in settings.

Bootanimation will work on any ROM except Samsung ones unless you use a different kernel.
But apart from that download a XHDPI bootanimation and place it in System/Media and change permissions to R W R R. And you're all set.

Missing Pixel 2 XL live wallpapers

Does anyone know how to get those same Pixel 2 XL live wallpapers in to our new Pixel 3 XL? I figured they'll be there along with the new ones but I do think see them.
Edit:
Here is a link to a post that has an APK that works very well:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74142755
I just Googled the apk and installed it, works perfectly.
I've seen a few but I wasn't sure if it will be a true "living things" type. I think there may be a difference between a live wallpaper and what Google is doing with theses. So I was hoping to just pull each one into the same folder or something. As I understand, the APK has been modified with a different name and there were some changes done for battery draining and such. Seems like there should be a way to just pull a file from one library and put it in another. Unless those files are in a system folder and root is needed.

I would be surprised if someone doesn't whip something up fairly soon. For now you can indeed install the ported P2 wallpaper and it will be fully functional and work fine. There will be a few dupes but they wont conflict and either can be set as wallpaper. In theory with root you should be able to do what you described btw, sounds like Magisk is sorted out and should be available soon.
Edited top post with a link to one that worked well for me. It actually added them to live wallpapers section in the Google wallpapers app. I don't know about battery life yet but it seems ok so far.

Ambiant Display Enabler

Hi everyone, just dropping this zip file that enables Ambiant Display Gestures , don't works everytime but still does the trick.
How to install?
Just flash it and reboot
I got the apk file inside the zip from a guy that abandoned his project ia long ago.
The APK itself comes from the Pixel Experience ROM (an older version) but still works on Pie, that's why I prefer to credit the ROM rather than the devloper that picked it from there.
Tested on :
Evolution X ROM (may reduce a bit your battery life)
Edit#1: Evo X will soon include this feature so... you won't need that anymore. I'll leave this thread if someone in theworld one day need this.
Have a good day
Edit#1: IDK where has gone the link, I don't have it anymore, and the evo x sourceforge is down anyway...
Have a nice day

Question Get Ringtones and Notification Sounds From Old Phone

Hey guys, just got p6 pro a couple weeks ago and I cannot get used to the new sounds lol (coming from a Note 10+ 5G). I was wondering if there's an easy way or a not-so-easy way to retrieve the ringtones and notifications from my old Note and copy them over to my P6. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Is your Note10+ rooted ? If yes you could just copy the sounds from the folder /System/Media/Audio (on some phones its also at /Product/Media/Audio )......
