I use the xiaomi.eu development version 22.9.21 and find that the google play server consumes a lot of power and my phone needs to be charged all the time. How can I solve this problem?

Wonder if combo of 5g and background updates? I found Facebook kept asking for updates that never completed, also had problem with Google playstore not actually initiating downloads unless connected to vpn. Wiping dalvik seems to have cured that for me

Or perhaps add new contacts/bookmarks?
I'd assume your phone was trying to sync contacts/bookmarks in an area with bad signal...and thus had to keep trying.
Impossible to say: but if it doesn't crop up again I wouldn't worry about it at all.
can someone help me? my android usage is extremely high and i tried rebooting my phone as soon as the battery becomes full.
does any one else encounter the same problem ?

I recall there was a bug in ICS firmwares, where you had to reboot after every full charge.
I am not sure, if it still exists nor in which firmwares.
Which ROM are you actually using?
the latest updates asus I noticed this bug while receiving a call instead of the usual "dot animated" this is completely white ball is inanimate.
I tried to change power saving mode, balanced-to performance, but nothing!
I also tried to do a reset on the phone, by directly applying the latest pre-rooted 2.18 but the problem persists! only in rare cases it is displayed correctly ... tips about it?

I've had this problem on Stock, AOSP, custom Rom, Android P and Q, using both beta and non-beta google apps.
I've cleared storage, uninstalled updates, reset permissions.
Anybody know what the deal or fix is?

this week I flashed ArrowOS 12 custom ROM and I had bit problem with the green indicator about location. I was curious, so I started finding. And I founded that google asks for my location history every few minutes. Is that normal? It is bit annoying and I can't find any settings related with that.
