Really fast GSI, didn't do the Magisk optimizations yet. One small issue is the status bar a little bit to the left but I guess that's a GSI issue. Really fast, 10/10

Also, by any chance. Do you know how I disable storage encryption?

Firstly, I just want to say that this is not my creation, I take no credit, and I'm posting pretty much what it says on the original thread right here. If you wanna thank the devloper (Androguide.fr), follow the link below. I'm posting here so more i9250 aka Galaxy Nexus owners can take a look.
Original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32660318
UPDATE!! I'll post update changlogs here, if you dont feel like going to the original thread.
v2.1.2
- Fixed conflicting tweaks that caused bootloops and/or were breaking network on some devices
~ Please report if these kind of issues persist ~
- Made the package lighter by removing some unused left-over files from previous versions
v2.1.1
- Fixed missing chmod script which was preventing init.d scripts from running
- Possible fix for the apps that aren't installed properly on some devices
v2.1
Introducing a new tweaks selection screen : Pimp my Kernel
--> Tweak 6 of the most common CPU Governors : Ondemand//OndemandX//Interactive//SmartassV2//Lulzactive//Conservative
--> Tweak your default I/O Scheduler & Disable I/O Stats
--> Disable & Re-Enable VSync
--> Disable Normalized Sleeper // Gentle Fair Sleepers // New Fair Sleeper (just moved, was already there before)
-->Misc. Kernel Tweaks : Disable kernel error checking (already there before) // Sysctl kernel msgmin & msgmax tweak
Added an option to revert Adblocking
Fixed the issue where beats audio and walkman options would be displayed for gb roms when it shouldn't
Various bugfixes (a few swapped selections and unworking tweaks)
Removed the extra apps screen, this wasn't really matching the mainline of this project, since you can grab those apps from the market. Plus this makes the whole package lighter.
Switched to miui installer theme
v2.0
ø New Tweaks selection screen : Multitasking
==> Choose between :
4 levels of OOM Priorities
4 levels Minfree settings
2 levels of ZRAM compression
Tweak your kernel and dalvik cache to behave well and be stable on hard multitasking conditions
ø New Tweaks selection screen : Networks & Internet
==> Security tweaks :
Reinforce your TCP/IP Stacks to make them resist to SYN attacks which cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on your device. Now those lame-ass blackhat hackers won't harm you with this.
Block redirects : auto website redirections will be blocked
Block source-routing : source-routing can be used to hack into your device as it allows full tracing of packets.
==> Stability & Speed tweaks :
Increase the buffer and queue size of each tcp socket to give more stability on high broadband consumption conditions
Allow the system to re-use the Sockets on TIME-WAIT state. In clear time-wait causes memory-loading, memory-loading causes internet lagg, internet lagg sucks.
Various IPv4 protocol speed tweaking scripts using sysctl
DNS and ppp0 tweaks for faster name-resolution, which means faster connections to websites.
ø New Tweaks selection screen : GPS Configuration
==> Choose between 79 countries (and 5 continents) of gps.conf files: those files are essential for the accuracy and lock-speed of your device's gps. (Thanks to gangsterjoop for the files)
ø New Adblock file of over 200 000 hosts ! (100x more than before) (Thanks to BSDgeek_Jake for the host file) --> added to extra features screen
ø New init.d scripts :
Move Dalvik-cache to /cache to increase data storage
Bind-mount dalvik-cache to allow a device to boot without sdcard (useful for devices with damaged internal sdcard)
Touchscreen responsiveness improvement tweaks
ø New Enable/Disable features :
Disable and Re-Enable Android logger
Disable Gentle Fair Sleepers
Disable New Fair Sleepers
Disable Normalized Sleeper
ø Rewritten every single init.d script :
This allowed me to realize many of them were not working, so I added a lot of missing values, and fixed a countless number of errors, redundant values and typos. So there should be some big improvement on the effects of init.d tweaks.
I also set an order of execution of init.scripts to avoid conflicts.
ø Removed themes and S-Voice
The S-Voice flaw that allowed other devices to use it appears to be patched and it was heavy, and themes were heavy and not really useful, you can download a countless number of them for free on the market
ø Changed installer theme to Sense
I realized that the options subtitles were not readable with ics theme, so most of the tweaks effects explainations were hidden.
ø Pimp My Rom will now come in two versions :
One will include the latest version of Aroma (with touchscreen working out-of-the-box, but issues on some devices) and One using Aroma v2.51 (With touchscreen calibration, and this version appears to fix the weird texture/ghost-input/moving screen/vibration issues people have with some devices with aroma v2.56)
ø Major code clean-up, various bugfixes
Re-organized and cleaned-up both aroma-config and updater-script
Fixed the way the installation process input displays sections and sub-sections
Fixed some tweaks getting installed instead of others when they shouldn't, and some other bugs
Pimp my Rom is an aroma-installer based script that will allow you to choose between a plethora of nice tweaks, mods, apps, themes and features to add to your current rom.
YOU CHOOSE which options and tweaks to apply, all this with a nice touchscreen interface, even if you're not running a touchscreen recovery, thanks to Aroma.
You can now run this script on any Android Device !!! (GB/HC/ICS/JB)
PmR was originally created for the Galaxy tab 7.7 (p68xx), but it has now evolved into a universally usable script !

I don't understand AT ALL why this has been posted here. It's not specific to our device and you didn't create it.
There only needs to be ONE thread and that one is already in the correct forum. If you want to be nice and notify Nexus users, then fine - just drop a quick heads up in the general forum. Don't just mirror somebody's thread.
This is totally unnecessary and something I can't imagine the original creator would support.
Does the aroma installer work on gnex?

KatKiss ROM
MarshMallow 6.0.1 ReleaseAsus TF300T
Please note that this version is made for and tested on the TF300T model.
This rom is an aosp based rom with my own additions on top of it.
The main motto of the rom being Kiss. Even though the Meerkat could give you a kiss, it stands for Keeps it Sweet and Simple too
Which means that just like the other K.A.T stuff, the rom's main goal is efficiency, speed/responsiveness,
while not adding bloated features that will slow things down

The first time or everytime you have an issue when dirty flashing (Especially when changing android versions):
[*] do a full wipe , if you have issues make sure that you format /data (format is different than wipe)
Warning: formatting will remove what is stored in your internal storage, so store the rom /gapps/supersu zips onto an external storage (microSD, SD card..) or make sure you know how to push them back through adb.
Change /data filesystem to f2fs
Then everytime (even when "dirty flashing") do the following steps:
Flash the rom
Flash the SuperSU zip
[*]Flash gapps
Wipe cache/dalvik
Reboot

Tips
First Install
Make sure you do a format /data the first time you install the rom
(backup your internal storage first if you want to keep something)
The first boot after a rom flash can take a few minutes as ART is slower than dalvik to optimize the applications, but is faster after the 1st time.
(First boot takes ~4-5 minutes without gapps and 10+ minutes with gapps)
Also keep in mind that after a fresh install, it might take a bit of time to get up to full speed as media scanner & google are checking/scanning and restoring stuff.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth might require to be turned on twice before it scans and displays the available devices.
Wallpaper Modes
Different Wallpaper modes have been added in Settings => Display
** Normal (regular android mode)
** Disable System Wallpaper rendering (set as default)
** Disable Wallpaper service
2nd setting will prevent the wallpaper being rendered by the system making things faster and also freeing resources
That's the recommended setting you want to use if you are using a launcher that has internal wallpaper rendering
The Default included Launcher3 has internal rendering
For Nova: Go to its Settings => Desktop => Wallpaper Scrolling => Force, then set a wallpaper.
(You will see a black wallpaper if you're not using a launcher that can do internal rendering, If wallpaper is important and that you want to keep your current launcher, then switch back to the 1st setting)
Google Play Movies
Our current Widevine DRM libs are not compatible in MM.
So you can't play a movie on the tablet with Google Play Movies as it requires that.
Starting a movie to play on chromecast should be fine as the drm will be the chromecast one in that case.
Hardware keyboard layouts
More languages have been added in the default asusec keyboard
Set the keyboard layout through Settings => Language & Input => asusec => setup keyboard layouts
These also allow live switching without reboot with ctrl + space
Global Key Override/Shorcut Mecanism
Available in Settings => Dock => Add Key Override Actions
This will allow you not only to redefine function keys assignment, and other special keys actions,
but you'll also be able to assign global macro actions / app launch to any key + Meta key combination (shift Left or Right , ctrl..)
You can also add multiple actions to one key combination, simply click again on the "+" button for the same key combination.
For example if you want to assign to one key combination a list of action to run before going to bed for example, like: turn wifi off, Bluetooth off, mute sound, and turn screen off, you can do that
Note that starting multiple applications with one key is kinda a miss and hit for the moment due to some mecanism in android that seems to prevent applications to start too close to each others.
Storage (fstrim) and Database optimization:
Fstrim is native since 4.3 and will happen in the background if your tablet is idle / sleeping and that your battery is > 70%
There is also a script to run it manually in the rom: /etc/kat/optimizestorage
To optimize the Database: /etc/kat/optimizedb
To run both, open a terminal and run:
su
/etc/kat/optimize
MultiWindows
Multiwindow allows you to split the screen in 2, 3 or 4 panes
you can switch an app back and forth between multiwindow mode and regular mode while it's running
NavBar:
- To switch between full screen and split View you can use the
NavBar Buttons
The app that currently has the focus (or the latest used app if you're on the Desktop) will be used for the main pane (left and/or top depending on the mode and rotation)
And it will lay the remaining most recently used apps in the rest of the available 1-2-3 panes depending on the icon you click
- If you press a multiwindow icon again when in splitview mode, it'll bring the focused app back to fullscreen mode.
- To swap the 2 latest focused apps location / pane , long press on the
NavBar Button
- To change focus simply Tap on the app or use the
NavBar Button
That button can also be used in non multiwindow mode to switch quickly between the 2 most recent apps.
Global Actions:
Actions to switch the app between fullscreen / splitview 2-3-4 panes and switch between the 2 most recent apps have been added
so you can bind them to a key / key combination with the Global KeyOverride or long press on navbar button too.
Note: Most apps works ok in splitview mode, but some of them might crash or not refresh correctly sometime.
To manually position an app in one of the pane:
For the moment either reorder your apps before clicking on an auto mode icon,
or you can also activate the default Marshmallow Multiwindow mode to get extra icons to positions an app in a specific pane (activate it in developer options )
Then position the apps with the icons from the Recents screen. (default MM recents icons are for 2 or 4 panes)

New rom version available: KatKiss-6.0_TF300T_004.zip
Make sure you read the first post to see what is not currently working or implemented.
Make sure you format /data before installing. (only ext4 supported for the moment)
Use gapps and the new beta supersu linked from the 1st post.
As usual the first boot with gapps will take some time: ~7-10 minutes.
Just be patient.

There's a Setting called "Multi-Window mode" if you scroll down on the page, simply activate the option.

THANKS FOR USE ! A-TEAM
there was a time when none was ready to build a lollipop build... now we have so many builds we get confused which 1 should we try
I'm waiting the 2.7.0 release...
Great bro
this rom is really good so far would like to see 2.7 or even what 2.8 would bring.
i have install this on a friends i9000 works good ,BUT this device stalls for no good reason (stayes in sleep or just hangs randomly) fixed this issue with raising base clock to 200 mhz (i suspect that its device related this one is quite battle scared - let the clash of clan continue)
great work keep the A+'s coming
I'll try asap bro
Many thanks
Flashed the 2.7.0 and it is really smooth and fast, and there are also some build prop mods added to increase performance which is really great. I even underclocked/undervolted to about 1000 and it freaking fast. The only thing i miss about omni is the custom header which make it really beautiful. Haven't actually checked the battery life but overall a really great ROM to flash. I dont actually know how effective build prop is but it would be nice to have some battery or performance enhancing build prop tweaks
Keep up the great work

Wait marshmallow delay in callui is totally fixed
Hey dracov76. Yesterday I installed your ROM in 2.6.1 version and it works smoothly, but there is warm phone syndrome on 1.4GHz (what's not the case in Omni from pure source - UC to 1.2 cooled it down). Anyways, now I'm going to install 2.7.0 (almost finished config on 2.6.1 and I see 2.7.0 ).
I've some concerns about 2.7.0's Messenger app:
- Did you name this app Mms in 'priv-app' folder? It can cause conflicts for people packing Messenger in GApps package.
[If app is to stay, please change it's name from Mms to Messaging in 2.8.0].
- Also, it's archaic version 1.0.131 for X02 variant (no libs and for 160DPI I think), while out there is 1.6.043 variant X34 (libs for ARMv7 and 240DPI [ours]).
[There is newer version [take -34.phone]: http://gappsandroid.blogspot.com/2015/11/messenger-apk-download.html].
Ouch, and about our navigation bar (that one at bottom of the screen):
- We have hardware control, so we can disable it.
- If we want it, then we also want to disable hardware navigation bar.
It's 'hw vs sw' nav war
Until 2.8!
Hey, messenger application with my gapps works very well, because optimized for our phone, thank you for helping me.
Hi dracov76,
I cannot move apps to SD :crying:
Hi, I know
One user wrote to me on this subject, and he gave me a solution (I think): D

Hey, man... This ROM is so awesome, fast as hell, and sick how you manage to slim it to this small size xD the only detail is that doesn't have DSP Manager :c anyone knows where to find a flashable zip of DSP? Or at least the apk?

Android 11 dotos. Here is my swap (zram) and low memory killer, virtual memory settings (SmartPack app). As you can see 1,5gb of zram is used. I didn't try this ROM, but I tested crdroid not the latest build (previous). I rooted device and switched the same parameters like on my screenshots (size and setting virtual memory, low memory killer) unfortunately the max size of zram was 500-700gb. On the pixel experience a13 the same situation. If it's possible increase zram and reduce low memory killer parameters on all your roms, because apps are heavy in 2023 (use a lot of ram and disk space). Thanks. All the best.
