No, this is the stock Marshmallow firmware that shipped with the 6X.
Can this be used to downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow? Or will it brick? Just figured I'd ask before I try, I'm stuck in a bit of a jam right now, and no firmware I've tried will apply successfully (fails at 5%). So I figure that I might have better luck going back to the stock MM that the device came with.
Edit: It looks like the download link is invalid. Any mirrors?

You need to install the rollback package before you install the 6.0 firmware if you are downgrading from 7.0

Thanks guys, but I was able to go back to MM yesterday, with the help of private messages from @adomol. It involved using a small rollback package and a large full package. The rollback went fine. I may or may not upgrade back up to Nougat, got some prep work to do and things to test. I've only had this device for a few days so I don't know the ins and outs of upgrading/downgrading firmware on Huawei. I'm more familiar with Samsung and Odin.

Can you share the links for small package. I will update the thread so that any othwr user facing the same issue can downgrade.
Link for only smaller file is ok but you can share both.

today indian version got 8.1 update. cant we get that ROM?
ive tried using vpn for china and mine still says system up to date ,mine is on 7.1.1 nov 6th security patch,i think its cos our phone has unofficial playstore app that it wont update. there is a mena firmware update which it says is for our variant on nokia 6 forum but nobody has said if it definitely for second gen ta-1054 ,if it is you could flash it and install all updates manually ,but im waiting untill someone lets me know if its legit has i dont want to brick my new phone
There was one rom in the nokia-6 MENA method, but I could not get it on my phone tho, also no reply on the topic for solution.
I sent back the chinese one, and ordered a global version from amazon.
But after a while there should be systems dumps, or updates to flash.
Anyone else tried flashing mena 2nd gen firmware from Nokia 6 link ?

Ive tried installing the latest play store APK as well as China VPN and India/Netherlands as they have started to receive their 8.1 updates (apparently) but nothing.
Im stuck on 7.1.1 and the Nov 2017 security update.
Also, has anyone else tried USB/WiFi/BT tethering...none of these are working (AUS on Telstra). Has anyone else tried?
It worked fine on Oppo phone so its not the carrier and I have checked the APN info.

If the phone is unlocked, would you be able to flash the RoW firmware thats currently being rolled out or are you limited to the (not currently available) TA-1054 only?

got a TA-1054 here today in China. Updated 6 times all the way to 8.1.0 without issue.
once bootloader unlocking is available you can flash global firmware just be patient bud
@safron35. Yep..but my reason for wanting the update is so i get tethering. Currently at 7.11 all the tethering (wifi, USB and BT) on my phone is broken. I've had to resort back to using my Oppo until I can get it working as I need this functionality for my work.

The ta-1054 is Chinese custom ROM if its on 7.1.1 Nov patch and will not update until you unlock bootloader and flash original firmware ,no matter what you try

I just started learning how to root my one plus 5t and in the middle of the proces i bricked it , found an software online that unbricks your phone and i got it back at android 7.1.1 and oxygenOS 4.7.4.
I want to put it back to the highest android and the newest available oxygen os for the 5t. But the update function doesnt work or to be precise it says that the newest version is already installed. I tried to manualy update it but when i tried it says update failed.
If anyone has more experience ( practicaly everyone ) i would be grateful for your help

I have a Realme X3 superzoom stuck with Android 10 and UI.1.0 on firmware RMX2081_11_A.53, I would like to upgrade to UI 2.0 and Android 11 but any time I check for updates it tell me that the last update is already installed, the device is locked and I have no idea why I'm not getting OTA updates, I also check on internet for a flashable OZIP to update manually but I haven't found anything, just old firmware with Android 10 and UI 1.0, anyone got an idea why I'm am not getting OTA? Or where to find the update to do it manually? The bootloader is locked. Thanks for your reply! I'm driving crazy with this!

In realme page the only flashable OZIP update is lower than mine, so I can't flash it, and also there's the last firmware in .ofp, but apparently the official tool does not support X3 superzoom "yet" and only way I found to flash it is through MSM download tool who ask you for a login.. that I have to pay for make someone else doing it with TeamViewer.. I am pretty frustrated.. never have similar problems with any other device

Hello friend, were you able to update your X3 SZ, I have the same problem as you
I have been trying to download the OTA - but it gets stuck and fails installation, any help with the installation or just the OTA zip file so i can manually load it locally.
I got the OTA, but didn't realize I had to grab the zip before installing. I'm trying to get the boot.img out so I can root, so I'm looking for the OTA as well.
Do not install it , I updated it and since then can not find system update in settings , nothing at all
That's the one that takes you to A12, I just spent yesterday downgrading back to 11, rerooting, etc
I personally don't recommend it if you're satisfied with your phone now, unless there is something about OOS 11 you really dislike or an A 12 feature you really want.
Can anyone confirm that the new update does in fact fix the connection issues that the previous update had? And possibly the automatic brightness issue as well. Those were really the only two issues I had with Android 12 and if those are fixed, I wouldn't mind updating again.
