I'm trying to get a custom Rom on my phone And I have tried to install it but it will never work. The twrp for this phone is very limited aswell. If anyone has a custom Rom that I will be able to install in this phone it will be much appreciated

I have a request to install Global ROM for Mix 2. Right now the phone is on its original version, using China ROM.
I think I'll be fine up to getting TWRP installed. The problem is, I'm not familiar with installing official Global ROM via TWRP.
I've seen some guides that say different thing like "just install away from TWRP", "modify one of the file in the zip first", or even "delete one of the file".
In my experience flashing global ROM in TWRP on my Mi6, the TWRP doesn't work. I'd like to know if there's special procedure I need to do if I want to install MIUI official ROM via TWRP.
If only the owner is fine with other custom ROM like Epic ROM, my job would be much easier.
I am using oneplus 5t from last one year and now i wanted to flash the custom rom so for that I need to install TWRP. Right now i am on open beta oxygen OS V22(9.0 PIE). I tried to find ways to flash TWRP in 5t but did not succeeded and I don't want to break the phone. Can anyone guide me with step how I can unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP in 5t?

I am trying to install EvolutionX and LineageOS on my G7 (G710VM) its on android 9 with bootloader unlocked and rooted but i can't. I have tried through TWRP and Orangefox recovery but i always get error. Can any one have success in installing custom rom on Verizon model?

I have a problem maybe you can help me, i installed the custom rom pixel experience android 11, and its nice but i want to get back to stock, i tried via recovery and i got error installing the firmware i thought it was the zip file and download it again and got the same results i tried via pc with adb sideload and dont work, i dont know if the problem its because i have android 11 and want to install stock android 10 but you know OP5T dont have android 11 officially, i got a hard brick i guess i can only enter to bootloader and manage to reinstall the custom recovery trwp and from that tried again to install firmware and got nothing i only could install the same custom rom pixel experience please anyone can help
Hello xda. I'm thinking about rooting my note 9 pro.. I have the EEA firmware version latest Android 12 update.

I'm thinking about grab the boot.img from the firmware, patch it via Magisk and flash it using fast boot. I mean without twrp. Will it be possible for this phone and this android version? I rooted my mi 8 lite this way and it work like a charm no twrp needed. Did you ever tryed this way to root your note 9?
I mean I can't find a stable twrp version.. Especially for Android 12 .
So if i try the method mentioned above will it work? I don't really need twrp for anything. Only need root.
Yes, if you simply follow the official Magisk install guide by TopJohnWu (patching the boot.img with the latest Magisk app and flashing it via fastboot - no need for recovery) it will work. In case you have to use apps which need SafetyNet (running on the official ROM).. that's a whole different story.. then you will need USNF, too, etc..
On MIUI 12 (Android 11) my phone was rooted with Magisk, I updated MIUI and of course the phone got unrooted, I redid the whole boot.img Magisk patching thing and tried installing Magisk, but now it doesn't work, I went around trying a bunch of different TWRP, including unofficial ones, nothing seems to be working.
