Question Any root way for amoled black? - Google Pixel 6 Pro

Hello geeks,
I'm sick and tired of this so called "dark", ugly Grey color. Is there any way to go black? I mean the real amoled black we been used to in a decade.
I'm rooted and tried Flux, swift, and many other substratum themes but they don't work on this android 13 thing.

Flux has Android 13 support so not sure why it's not working for you. So do Liv Dark, Iris and Iris Monet, amongst others. Also, you should be using Substratum Lite rather than Substratum, if you aren't.

Man, you're a real dog. You saved my time. The lite thing just worked. Thank you so much

Could someone please point me in the direction of the substratum lite for my stock, rooted, P6P A13.
A search on XDA produced hundreds of pages, but I am unable to tell which apply to me, and the Substratum hub is all about Oreo and older.
This would be my first venture into themes and I would like to learn more.
Thanks

Here is the Substratum Lite app.
There are several themes you can use on A13, as mentioned above. Search Play Store for themes such as Liv Dark, Flux, Iris, Iris Monet, etc.. For others you will have to search on Telegram.

You can use AOSP mod. This is the way !

aosp mod.project themer .

Does it work on stuck Tom thou?

i am on stock.so yes.

Project themer work perfect on A13 (playstore)

Maybe not what you're looking for but here's for black wallpaper: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mangino.android.No_Wallpaper

Themes: Will they look different on the 10?

Aside from the stickers which don't interest me, will themes look different on the 10? Or exactly the same as on the m8, m9?
I was particularly interested in the 'switches' in settings, the Quick Tiles, and the contacts/dialer.
I've only seen video of the stickers so far. Not a single reviewer seems to have tried a theme and then moved around the UI.
The UI has changed quite a bit. The strings menu now comes in the known and nearly stock Android look and contact pictures on the list view of the respective App are round instead of squares to name some of them.

Well I was sad to get a reply on reddit from a dude with the phone saying the themes don't change the colors/switches in the settings menu. See here:

Wish themes changed things like status bar icons, I'm not a big fan of Sense Wifi icons lol
Yes petty but im way too used to stock.
Regardless HTC's theme engine as I thought, looks lackluster in comparison to say Touchwiz's, which changes more elements of the UI e.g. menu's, notifcation tray etc

Well @sykopompos said this a while back in the google+ layers community...
"If any of you run across marshmallow OEM roms (not nexus or Android one, these are aosp) or get one for your device (I know the g4 has one out there), post them up.
Make a dump of the system, if you don't know how, just ask (be prepared to use adb)
Since layers works on stock marshmallow natively, it should work on any OEM marshmallow rom (besides cm obviously) and chances are high that the resources might be different and themes could be made/modified to work with these OEM Roms.
We are only interested in marshmallow Roms though since they will have full native support and the changes Google made in marshmallow."
Hopefully somebodys needs to get him a dump!

So we need to get a system dump, give it to him, and hope it looks promising
EDIT: what @King p1n said lol

Substratum with no Root!

I know it might still have a few bugs but so far for the most part it's working great! In addition for substratum to work you need to download an Add on.
Test it out and let us know what themes are working! So far I'm using Swift dark
( Please read carefully how it get it to work)

Yeah I just got mine setup today with Swift Black! My advice is to make sure you do one app at a time. Some apps I had to try a few times for some reason. Also, I've found that at least Swift Black did not theme beta versions of apps.
What is the purpose of this app, if you dont mind my lack of knowledge?
How to run substatrum without root on marshmallow?
Does this only work on Samsung or all non root devices?

It lets you use substratum themes on completely stock Samsungs devices.
Substratum with this MOBILE_QF6_Hybrid_Nougat_Rom_FlashFire_Install][Status Official For TMO]
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/development
Is everything we can dream and the best we will get. With the s8 and note 8 our development is pretty much done
Anyway to make the notifications black and text white?
i used substratum with my s7 edge, for the short time that I had the phone (may its circuits rest in peace) and i loved it! i use it with my s8 now.

Theme For Galaxy A7 A700FD 2015

Dear all!
I'm new user in xda-developers forum and it helped me a lot rooting my Galaxy A7 A700FD 2015 that I received from my mother's old mobile phone since my galaxy note2 died. Ayway, I rooted it because I waned to install xposed framework and install some modules to modify the whole device's layout.
What i was expecting I could change especially the blue/white layout greens buttons and other colors that hurts a lot my eyes in notification bar and around menus that is also boring. I searched for some apk or modules to change out theme as I wanted but no success.. so i tried to use launchers that is pretty cool but still limited( not going to buy a PRO version).
Sorry if i made another thread about this but im kinda bored with the system =/ and i looked hard into xda forum about what i want and i didnt see anything related with that.
Can someone help me with some apk or module to peform my changes?
Thanks all,
Regards

Xposed is not the best for customizing the design. You could try Substratum theme engine but I don't know if it works with MM and I doubt it will work correctly with any Samsung os version since Samsung does heavy modifications to the system. Does MM for the A5 2015 not include themes? Or is it still on LP?

My galaxy A7 2015 has only 4 themes when it is upgraded to mm & when I download new themes from the Xda, it will not shown in my themes section.

Hey guys,
Got my new XL 2 today, just was wondering if anyone can lead me in the direction of how to install the substratum theme engine without root. Also what is the best dark theme I could get for the phone that themes mostly everything? Thanks in advance

I haven't tried this method as I'm rooted, but plan to when I get my 2XL.
I prefer the Swift Black theme myself.
We have several Substratum tutorials on the XDA portal
Thank you for the advice , appreciate it as always. Theming works great as some stuff (settings and certain options) don't theme properly yet but all in due time I guess

Has anyone tried Substratum w/Andromeda plugin after Oreo update?

Well, that's the question. I'm gathering some credits trough Google Rewards and i'm pretty interested in buying the Substratum extension made for Android Oreo. But first i want to know if someone has tried the app in this phone to avoid some useless purchase. Something that i miss from my old Moto X Style is the customization. I could root this thing to do it without any plugin but so far i'm not interested in rooting and all that.

I didn't find any replacements..
I think if You dont wanna root Your phone You should buy Andromeda rootless backend - support devs, because it works.
I'm currenly using the Andromeda... It does work but with some errors n doesn't work well with all themes...
I've got something to show..
Thanks guys. I'll buy it anytime soon then.
I have been using it on 0.8 Verizon edition with no probs, sais oreo theme is a pretty good dark theme.
I am using it. Everything was working until the most recent security update for oreo. Although it may have been me updating my theme, which i did after the security update.
I can't stand all the ads on this phone. Ugh.
I use it with stock Oreo 8.0.0. No issues.
Black theme (forgot the name but it is the most popular one) is nice for the notification bar and settings menu.
Which theme is that?

Its working fine, I'm experiencing no lags.
Black looks beautiful and being AMOLED saves battery also.
Notification issue
The Default Dark Theme works except for some notifications that keep having dark text on dark background (see first notification on the attached image). Is there any way to fix that? My device is not rooted.

I am currently using a pitch black theme that is called Sai's Oreo Theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=baka.sai.oreo&hl=en
I`ve been using Default Dark from F-Droid. Basically switches the Phones/Contacts/Settings/QSettings etc to dark.
The app has one annoyance to it cause you got to connect the phone to the pc if you want to use substratum.
The good stuff is that applied theme survives reboot, so it`s not so bad in the end.
