Snapchat crashes with ElementalX Kernel

Im running Freedom OS 1.10 (3.5.5 CB) with root and Xposed, today I installed the ElementalX kernel, it is working fine but the one thing that bothers me is that snapchat crashes whenever I open a snap.
Tried it without root and xposed, reinstalled Snapchat but none of those options seem to work.
I have been asking around in the Offical OnePlus 3 Whatsapp group but it seems im the only one having this problem..
Anyone out here that knows how to solve this?
Thanks in advance!

Your opinion on ROM + xposed

So I bought this device in order to switch ROMs like I did with my OPO, and then I discovered I won't get the high quality camera if I switch ROMs.
Problem is I get bored without flashing anything...
So I thought about flashing some OOS based nougat ROM but then I'll lose Xposed.
What did you do?
Did you stay on stock mm like I did?
Would love to hear suggestion and your opinion, maybe I'm missing something

I made the switch to nougat from having xposed framework , i had all the best mods and i thought I'd regret it moving to nougat but it's honestly not that bad for a start if you still want to block YouTube ads then you can install a patched version of adfree YouTube for nougat and for the visual UI mods there's substratum which is very decent there's also adaway for adfree browsing which again still works perfect on nougat and the doze mode has been improved alot but as always the choice is yours but I'm glad i switched and besides the Dev of the xposed is working on nougat in his spare time so we will get it eventually , i hope this helps your decision ...

Thanks! this is exactly why I asked this question, didn't know there are patched versions for nougat.
You convinced me to at least give it a try.
Your favorite OOS based ROM? Stock?
There's actually an adblocked and background playback-enabled YouTube app now. You can find it here. Alternatively, you could always give dual booting a try.
Xposed will come next year, forget about xposed on sdk25 this year.
Still on stock mm
Can't live without xposed
Cheers

There is no xposed for Nougat. What are you trying to install ?
EDIT: Nevermind, but it is unstable so things like that are to be expected
It s 100% unstable dont use it
Everything works fine, except this issue....
Then don't complain about it. You can't expect to be using something which is obviously unfinished, and not meant for Nougat, and ask for fixes.
wait a month atlst before it gets stable...... try any rom u want ..it will have issues coz its highly unstable...also modules not yet updated and will cause more issues and next thing u will complain after flashing xposed is ur battery life so keep in mind alwys before flashing xposed even on mm...
I am not complaining here, just wanted to know what others see with xposed for nougat and any fix if there is one, i flashed it knowing that it is unstable... Anyways thanks for ur comments...

The best place for you to ask that would be the thread about it. Not many people really use xposed much any more. Mainly not with the roms available for this device. There is almost no need even for it.

[Q] New Buyer

Hey guys... I did little reading and found there are no noticeable bugs in custom ROMs. I just want to make sure if the custom ROMs are fully stable and has all the functionality of stock ROM.
Also will the FP gestures be present in custom ROMs? Also the most irritating question, VoLTE
Just want to make sure everything is good to go before buying one.
Sorry it this was a repeated question.

Hey thanks for the quick reply.
From what you said, it seems custom ROMs do have minor bugs... Obviously I'm not into such details, but then just asking...are there any major bug that might hinder daily run?

WhatsApp video call laggy on almost all pie custom rom

Hi,
I tried almost all pie custom rom and faced this issue. in OOS oreo & H2OS pie doesn't have this issue.
Is there only me who faced video call on whatsapp very laggy in custom rom?
Any fix yet? I tried several roms but the same...
Found the issue, as people want gcam and overall it is better than stock oos, gcam requires camera2api (HAL3) to use some of the features, i couldnt disable camera2api with persist build.prop command. So this means any custom pie rom that is forcing hal3 will have issue with whatsapp. Idk if whatsapp will add support or fix the issue for hal3. I use whatsapp video calls everyday due to friends(can force them to use discord or something similar) and relatives. So this means that im going back to stock oos ob24 from ResurrectionRemix v7 sadly...
Also found some articles on other forums such as xiaomi, people saying thats hal3 gives them kind of same problems.
So if anyone reads this, till whatsapp fixes the issue for hal3, video calls will stutter. Best solution is using a non camera2api rom or oos.
