I have the MOTO X30 XT2201-6 model. I am on the chinese rom and sim detection and readyFor both work flawlessly. I am on TMobile USA and the only thing that does not work is Voice over LTE. Hope this helps.

Ready for is working over usb?

USB and wirelessly both. For wireless both the pc and phone have to be on the same wifi network. It's pretty awesome honestly

No. By usual I meant it continues to work the same way as in the other slot. VoLte does not work no matter what. When you make calls, the bands switch from 5g to G and the call goes through. Sometimes the switching is fast while the other times it takes more than 30 seconds

Darn, looks like this awesome phone doesn't support Band 13, is there any chance we can get this phone on Verizon's network?

I'm not a expert but if there will be different version of the phone, like Europe, Asia and America, probability one of this version gonna have the network. I think..
razor does say it won't work on any CDMA networks like Sprint or verizon

From Razer's website.... Wish you luck though and curious to what you find out.
What mobile networks will the Razer Phone work with?
The Razer phone will work with GSM networks, like AT&T, T-Mobile, and their subsidiaries. It will NOT work on CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint.

I am on a Grandfather Verizon plan, and I can swap my sim. I get 4G data, but no Cellular. But if you dont want calls to disturb you, this is perfect.

Same here. Data and text work, but no voice. It's weird because the phone rings and then doesn't connect.

I will tell you. The answer is no. I'm in Korea KT is CDMA. The data side works, UMTS B1 & LTE B1 B2 & B8 but the voice calls do not work. In phone drops even LTE if/when I attempt to make a call. Calls over Wifi isn't an option either since my carrier doesn't support it. Over here everyone uses VOIP anyways. Im not bothered by the lack of calling I rarely even use my 'phone' anyways. Plus I'm hoping to get back to the states soon and I will be back on AT&T.

I purchased the Razer phone and am using Verizon with it. There is a work around that their tier 2 tech team can do. They add your line just on their LTE(GSM) network ( No band 13 CDMA is utilized). So if you are in an area that has good to great LTE signal then you can get the phone. Mine works great at work and outdoors. My only issue is at home. I always had one bar with all my other phones and now I have no service. I am waiting for a Samsung 4g LTE extender from Verizon so that I can correct that issue.
Rumor has it, Verizon will make the shift to just LTE by the end of 2018. If and when this happens, CDMA band and cellphones will no longer work with their network.
Hope I helped anyone who has the phone or wants to buy it. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays.
Ok I got mine working on LTE as well but there's no phone capabilities. Sure u can send text and surf the internet but u can't make phone calls.

How did u talk to tier 2? cause most reps don't know their head from a hole in the ground
And if that's the case any LTE phone should work on their Network right?

I used Verizon's live chat initially. Reason for this is I was able to save the conversation and use it as a reference when I had to call back and got another rep. Also, good way for the tier 2 tech team to catch up. It took some time and persistence to get it right. Once the chat rep exhausts all their troubleshoots, they will escalate it to tier 2. A threat about me leaving and going elsewhere was used on one occasion.
It did take time and patience but I think the phone is worth the trouble. My Razer works just as well as my GS 7 edge. Just a reminder. It is on LTE only, so if you hit an area without LTE you will not function.

I did my own questioning with this and simply stuck my SIM card from my Google phone into my Razer and for while it worked but I noticed it didn't stick.
So I called Verizon and they told me that because my sim card was registered to my Google phone I would need to go and get a new sim and stock it into the Razer and it would then work on LTE and would stick

I am going to say no and you should try live chat again. I had ported out when I first got this phone back around Thanksgiving and I couldn't stand it and wanted back in to Verizon. When I came back in, they activated a new sim using a pixel 2, popped it in my phone and did some configs on their end. You do not need a new sim if your current sim is on a phone that has LTE service with same OS and on Verizon already.

I've tried that. Seems to me like a problem with default band settings.
In the build.prop it's set to:
ro.telephony.default_network=20,20
Which is asia lte/td-scdma; if i knew how to change it to ro.telephony.default_network=9
i think that would fix it.
For now i'm just waiting for someone to release some baseband versions to flash.

That's not good hopefully get mine in a few days and i'll report back. I had previous phone like Zuk Z2 that had similar bands but work with both LTE and calling/sms no issues.
I and a friend have noticed these same issues it must be android one issue.
I did post in another thread about poor signal on different networks and how it compared to redmi note 2 which doesn't even support a lot of the bands this phone does yet that has far better signal.
My friend doesn't even get signal in his house on o2/ee with this phone it keeps showing up as emergency services only but with redmi note 2 he gets max with o2 on 2g/3g and ee it hops about with half bar for 2g/3g and quater to 0 on 4g in the house.
Seems to work fine for me. I have 4G on and calls come through just fine. Might be a location issue but I'm on Tmobile and in SoCal

Yeah LTE data works great but no calls go through , and there are no GSM antennas near by.
Same issue with my Mi A2 on T-Mobile in the US. I even contacted TMobile about the issue because it seems like a network issue too. It's like it's having issues switching to 3G to accept the call as there is no voLTE. I'm hoping an update to the modem will fix the issue.

I am using my Chinese version on T-mobile. I am from NY.
I'm using the L29 on Metro (T-Mobile) here in NY with no issues. The AL00 and L29 have the same bands so the service should be equal.
I have it on Walmart Family Mobile which uses T-Mobile towers, in Southern California.

Reception is excellent. LTe, volte but no wifi calling, it is easy to set up, just go to app gallery download Google play store and use phone clone to transfer file from your old phone. Issues are Google pay and Google map location history doesn't work.

I turn off location history anyway. Kinda creepy the way it follows me. I appreciate your info. Can't wait to set this up and use it..
I have the global on Tmo in So Cal. Internet browsing is fine, but watching youtube/netflix has been a bit disappointing. My youtube autos to 240p I can usually manually move it to 360 sometimes 480 will work., haven't been able to stream anything higher w/o buffering. Everything else works fine minus wifi calling.
I have the Chinese variant on tmobile. I noticed that it seems to block data of certain apps or games sometimes. I often have to turn on a VPN to get it to work. This happened with youtube, Google drive, and a few others. Ive already gone and changed multiple settings to get it to ignore data of almost all apps and to allow them unfettered, then finally to maintain connection when screen is off. It didn't work. I had this issue with the ham2 also blocking a couple apps. Perhaps it is a Chinese government thing.

Netflix in HD as well
Does the wifi disconnect then reconnect every 15 minutes or so since the last update?
If I'm not mistaken the 20x is missing two bands on the t mobile USA network. Bands 66 and 71. Shouldn't be too much of an issue .

Note 10+ unlocked Tmobile issues

Just got my note 10+ and I'm absolutely loving the phone, but the service on the unlocked phone isn't to good. First off when i make a phone call it doesn't stick to LTE it goes to H+. When i hang up the phone it takes forever to switch back to LTE. What's the issue? Maybe because I transferred my data from my note 9?
What else are you seeing besides the lte any issues with wifi calling/volte/video calling/visual voice mail?

Wifi calling works. I have really never used visual voicemail. Volte is the biggest issue for me. Video calling doesn't work since it doesn't have the t mobile firmwire on it. I will give it 24 hours for the SIM card to be fully configured if not, I will be flashing the tmobile firmwire

I'm using the unlocked model on T-Mo. WiFi calling and VoLTE work fine.
Only thing I noticed was the data speed seems slower. I have two lines, so I tested them side by side
I had my Note 9 (running T-Mo firmware) in one hand, and my Unlocked Note 10+ running the factory unbranded firmware in the other hand. The Note 9 was pulling 80 Mbps and the Note 10+ was pulling 60 Mbps.

Question Cannot connect 5g netwrok

I bought POCO F3 from aliexpress and it support the 5g band for my country as per the seller . But unfortunately i cannot connect to 5g.
It is currently on global rom. So i hope all the advertised bands are enabled. Did any one else face this same issue?
Is there any solution for this?
Will i be able to connect 5G if i install eu firmware. I'm still watitng for my bootloader waiting period to expire though...
What is your Poco F3 model number? If you have global version then these should be supported: https://cacombos.com/device/M2012K11AG . If you like, please send your device log https://cacombos.com/contribute so could check supported bands and combinations.
Device model is M2012K11AG as attached. I'm trying to figure how to generate the log file.
Also thanks a lot for replying...

Xiaomi doesn't have Carrier Policies to restricted bands / combinations outside from China so all bands and combinations enabled listed here: https://cacombos.com/device/M2012K11AG . Just 5G
Another strange thing is checked my speed via speed test app and the resulting speeds are definitely not 4G . I got as much as 640Mbps downloads...

As I see from ur screenshot, u use Wi-Fi not mobile data (looks like u don't even have a SIM in ur phone, so u can't have mobile data connection). So, those speeds are from ur wireless connection not mobile data connection (4G/5G).

Lol... I understand you mate. But the screenshot were taken later. As i was just experimenting with different network provider. If you look closely at the results, it even mentions LTE in the left where my speeds are mentioned.
Btw i hope I'm right in assuming that those cannot be LTE speeds and surely 5g...

Nope, ur not right. LTE on ur screenshot is from the name of the server u choose. Look at ur status bar of ur phone....only Wi-Fi connection is enabled (btw, if u don't have a SIM inserted in ur phone, u can't have mobile data -4G/5G available on ur phone).
PS- I thinks ur confused about 4G/5G (which is mobile connection) and 2,4GHz/5GHz bands (which is Wi-Fi - ur router connection).

Like i said bro, the screenshot was taken later when i removed the sim. I did the test when i was connected on LTE.
The screenshot shows result for multiple test which were conducted earlier in time.
Anyways, i inserted the sim again and did the test once more so here it goes...
Also, i would like to know if i am right in assuming this is not LTE speed..
Have a great day... Cheers

I got it now....it's 4G speed (as status bar shows) and, most probably, with 3 inter-band carrier aggregation.
great way to test if your device support 5G band is forcing your router to advertise one if your can see the SSID being advertise and you can connect to it that means it support 5G

You must be joking right.... I'm not referring to the 5Ghz network in the router... Though it may sound confusing... I'm referring to 5g mobile network...
