[Discontinued][KERNEL][KITKAT][WIP] CAF 3.4.0 kernel [September 23, 2014]

Due to modem-induced crashes that I am unable to fix, this is discontinued.
This is a 3.4 kernel based off of the most advanced kernel source available from Qualcomm (CAF) for MSM8660/MSM8960 CPU architectures. Please note that this kernel is still a work-in-progress, so you will experience some issues while using it.

Kernel features:
Based off of the latest CAF kk_2.7 kernel source available (source tag: AU_LINUX_ANDROID_KK_2.7_RB1.04.04.04.007.067)
Uses Qualcomm's latest drivers and enhancements available for our architecture
Performance is over 9,000
Upgraded the amount of REAL RAM by 44MB (userspace now has 829MB of RAM, as seen in Settings->About Phone)
Removed LOTS of excessive debugging and other garbage (a lighter kernel is a faster kernel)
Newest WiFi drivers from Samsung's Galaxy S5 kernel
WiFi direct works
WiFi hotspot works
No 5-second delay in camcorder
Fixed cable-type 6 charging wakelocks (cable-type 6 = unknown charger)
Fixed slow charging speed with some chargers
Ultra-fast charging over USB (up to 1200mA, regular fast charge in all other kernels is 900mA)
Increased maximum current for AC charging to 1200mA (Samsung default is 900mA)
Improved screen colors via HTC MDP color enhancement (screen colors are less saturated)
Note that the kernel does not contain advanced features like overclocking at the moment as overall stability has yet to be confirmed. Overclocking will be added in the future if feedback is positive after the first few weeks of testing.

USB OTG (plugging in a USB OTG device crashes the phone)
Device does not always reboot successfully when the kernel crashes

What is LineageOS?
LineageOS, also known as LineageOS Android Distribution and Lineage (/ˈlɪn.i.ɪdʒ/), is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.

Instructions(Important)
Uninstall any previous versions of Google Camera Installed, dont worry data will be safe
Camera2 API must be enabled on Redmi Note 6 Pro to install GCam.
(Added app link in downloads for testing Camera to api enabled or not)
Enable the following setting to make the Astrophotography mode available all the time.
Go to Settings > Advanced (under custom settings) > Toggle the Force astrophotography to enable

I tested, it works flawless although yeah the slow-mo issue is present sometimes, but other than that its the best Gcam for redmi note 6 pro so far the quality and zooming is crazy loved it.

Well the requirements does not satisfy still you can try to install and check will not do any harm,but you must need Camera 2 API Enabled

Doesnt work on CRDroid android 10

GUI shows up but using any function crashes the app on Lineage OS 17.1

After that app crashes

Try switching hotspot to open

Few things i noticed are :- notification light misbehaves while charging, phone automatically gets screen off i have to restart it and the camera app sometime doesn't clicks pictures and RECORDS THE VIDEO CLICK SOUND TOO & there are lots of stuff in camera that doest works properly therefore i use gcam thats working far better. BY THE WAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A DEVELOPMENT.

Bluetooth not working, wifi working with issues and faster battery drain. Going back to the previous build (11.0-20210118-0703-BETA) until there's a fix or new build

Hm, WiFi hotspot works fine on my device. But I found a new issue - NFC not works. No such option in settings! Does someone have such issue? Ot this only my bug?

Secure WiFi networks work almost fine, but open netorks keep connecting and disconnecting. Didn't test WiFi hotspot

Hello,
UDFPS is unusable on my 6T. I was able to add 4 fingers in Fingerprint Unlock section but no one from them is not working when i try unlock my phone. The light durin unlocking process is white. And I saw on other roms is mostly green. Can´t this be an issue? I saw in other discussion white color caused issues for the device.
