You should move to OOS12 then install this rom. Detailed guide is available in support group. You can ask there.

Hi flashed this rom on my OnePlus Nord. Almost everything is working except for cellular data.
Any fixes for it?
Really like the rest of the Rom

Is this rom with Google apps included? no alternative download somewhere without it? I'm looking for a recent rom for the One plus Nord, codename Avicii, without the google stuff, it seems my only option is Lineage?

Only option currently available is LINEAGE OS, wait for next release of RICEDROID. I will include AOSP build as well.

yeah I just saw it on telegram, very nice, I know it is not very polite to nag about ETA's, but a rough timeframe maybe? I'm asking because I will maybe wait to flash Lineage if it is near future, and just stay on stock meanwhile.

No ETA as the sources are WIP. RiceDroid developers are actively working on A13 QPR2 merging. And it requires a lot of work compared other releases. So, I cannot give you an ETA. When the source is ready, I will push the builds.

OK, we appreciate your effort! Thank you so much!

Best custome rom I have ever used !!
So smooth and much customisation !!
Very thanks to developers for build this rom for OnePlus Nord.
Installation.
I used orangefox recovery.
Flash pixel experience plus android 13 rom, format data. After boot pixel experience plus android 13 rom and just complete setup. Then reboot to recovery and flash this rom. Do not format data this time, just boot this rom.
If you don't install it correctly you will not able to use mobile data. Just follow above guide and flash this rom.
Bugs.
I don't found any bugs.
Things i like.
1. This rom is so smooth.
2. UI and customisation. (It's perfect replacement for Oxygen OS 12.)
3. No need to use other launcher. It's default launcher support lots of customisation.
Things i don't like.
Nothing yet.
Again very thanks to developers.

Thanks for the review. And mobile network not working issue is because of device tree. And issue will be not there in next update.
And join the telegram group for active support and more tweaks...
Also if you like the rom, please consider donating as you can to support upcoming builds.
Thank you

Hi All,
I've been working on a AOSP-CAF version for kiwi. This is started from kernel and device tree by @crpalmer & @BadDaemon aka Micheal W so thanks a lot to them for the bringup. I've just modified it to work with AOSP. This is pure AOSP and no more features will be added, so kindly Don't request it.
This version is nearly stable. DUAL SIM works .Still, Flash this at your own risk.

How to use layers on AOSP-CAF

Theme Ready Google apps http://forum.xda-developers.com//android/apps-games/apps-themeable-hangouts-layers-cmte-t3113192/post60850740
Layers do NOT work on ROMs with the CM theme engine
Make a nandroid backup in TWRP recovery before making any modifications so you can restore it if you run into issues.
It's assumed in this community that users understand the basics of root and how to recover their devices if they run into problems, we're not responsible for anything you do.s
LAYERS ON STOCK NEXUS AOSP MM
1. Install TWRP, make a backup.
2. Root
3. Uninstall some Google apps from the system partition to make room on the system partition for Layers. (Can be reinstalled from play store)
The system partition is different from the userdata partition so while you may have 40gb free on a 64gb device, it doesn't matter, it's a different partition. Uninstall them via a root file manager at system/app or use titanium backup or another system app removal app.
4. Install BusyBox
MUST BE INSTALLED TO /SYSTEM/XBIN
5. Install Layers Manager
Layers Manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanag
HOW TO MANUALLY REMOVE LAYERS
Use a root File Manager Navigate to system/ vendor/ overlays and delete the layers in the overlays folder.
In TWRP In case of bootloop, go to Mounts in TWRP & check System then go to the Advanced tab & use the File Manager to delete Layers from system/vendor/overlays.
For the 6p, 5x & N9 users, check Vendor in Mounts, then go to /vendor/overlays as the overlays folder is not in /system on those devices.
APP OR THEME STOPS WORKING AFTER UPDATING THE APP
Uninstall the affected app layer

https://plus.google.com/+CharG/posts/46cVchVcB1F
PLAY STORE ERROR 504/ 505
The fix is the same for both errors, uninstall and reinstall the Manager or theme.
Error 504 means the app was installed by the user via the play store, uninstall and reinstall.
Error 505 means the app is preinstalled as a system app and must be uninstalled via a root file manager at system / priv-app/ , or with titanium backup or another system app removal app.
CHANGING ICONS
Icon support was added & temporarily removed in beta, use a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex for now.
CHANGING FONT WITH LAYERS
Layers doesn't officially support font yet, use alternative methods of your choice such as font apps or twrp flashable zips for now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/fonts-flashable-zips-t3219827
WHAT THEMES SHOULD I USE?
Use M compatible themes on M,
Lollipop themes on Lollipop.
WHERE CAN I FIND THEMES?
The Layers sections of the community.
MAGPIE v13 TUTORIAL

DO LAYERS WORK ON MY DEVICE?
Layers are officially supported on Layers compatible Lollipop custom ROMs with all Layers commits. Stock AOSP and custom layers compatible Marshmallow ROMs are also supported.
It does NOT work with CMTE ROMs. https://plus.google.com/+CharG/posts/1rzbgo59hWh
Some users have had some success theming unsupported devices such as the LG G4 and Touchwiz LP devices but they are not officially supported so we won't be able to provide assistance for users with those devices.

When i saw crpalmer got cm-12.1 working on 5x, i was still reluctant to get it at that time... When he booted cm-13.0 & BadDaemon jumps on board of development, i know it would be easy for me, as mentioned on all of my threads, all these ROMs wouldn't be here if not for the rock-solid device tree so HUGE Credit to both of them... :good:
this is awesome. would you mind sharing which edits you had to make to get it to compile? i'd like to do a CAF build for the huawei GX8. i haven't been able to figure it out.

Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
We recommend MindTheGApps. OpenGApps should work, but please make sure you clearly mention the gapps you're using when reporting bugs.

Encryption: This device has full support for FBE encryption and I will only provide support for encrypted devices. If your device isn't encrypted, most likely the no-verity ZIP designed for OOS O will work for you, but if it doesn't - I can't fix or help that.
Firmware: Weekly build from April 5 requires ob7 firmware.
If updating from Nougat: Please back up your data off the device. Most likely you won't be able to upgrade directly from N. OnePlus used different encryption blobs in N vs O so for the best experience, I'd recommend you flash OOS and then flash Carbon. If you're already on O builds of another ROM that supports encryption, you should be fine not to go to OOS in between.
No support will be provided if you're flashing custom kernels, magisk, audio mods etc. If you experience issues, please eliminate those things first to make sure they aren't causing your issues.

Are you planning on adding back the wakelock blocking at the kernel level? I noticed it was present previously on adinkwok's thread but not in this build.
Either way very interested in the development and ethos of your builds so would greatly be interested in anything you have to share :good:

yes, if you just want to boot twrp and flash rom zip that would work. if you need twrp installed so you dont have to boot into twrp using a computer every time then you need to flash twrp zip after every rom flash.
if you follow official twrp flashing instructions you will understand what I am trying to say.
I have the ROM up and running. So far so good. Really nice! Thanks for doing a walleye build!

I think you should be fine. Dont flash root right away though, boot into Android once. In case of any issues a dirty flash should be good.
install rom - boot into android - install kernel - boot into android - install magisk.

The latest 4.8 version (and all future versions) have FBE (file based encryption) enabled, which is easier to work with and use than traditional FDE (full disk encryption) in previous Android versions. Because of this change, you MUST use the FBE enabled TWRP recovery linked above in order to access your files in recovery mode. In case you missed it, here is the link again:
FBE enabled TWRP: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664781632
If you are coming from a 3.18 based ROM (you probably will be) you MUST format your internal storage directly after flashing the ROM. Backup anything important first.

Very special thanks to @xNombre who did the original work porting 4.4 to gemini.
new Android
We(speaking for mi5 community) already have havoc unofficial. The developer update every time havoc release an update, and there is q already avaible. We are testing 4.4 version too, so I don't see any people crying out for havoc on gemini. Thanks.

Maybe you're not on telegram, where someone asks every 5 minutes when gemini version is coming out. I see you have unofficial 2.9 but I don't see 3.0 here. I know of the "Havoc-Gemini" repo and I also know why your maintainer got booted from official. I have no opinion on the subject, it's not my place to comment. I'm also well aware of the 4.4 kernel port, I've been working with xNombre to try and port it to lithium.
The whole point of open source is that it's supposed to drive innovation and collaboration by working together to achieve our goals. I learned a lot about Android by porting the formerly gemini only Syberia to lithium. I didn't want to just take advantage of that knowledge and run off with it, I wanted to give something back to the community that helped me in the beginning.
I seriously doubt that you with your single post on XDA forums speak for the whole Mi5 community, but if any other dev wants to collaborate with me or wants me to take this down then I'm happy to accommodate them.
Have a nice day
Please do give update for v3. We all are very thankfull to you. And GOD bless you.
Thank you!
Thanks for porting this ROM. Also I read the announcement (for the mi mix) that the device should clean install. Is that also apply on this port ROM?

If coming from Pie, then most definitely clean flash. If you have another devs v3 build a dirty flash might work, but I would still recommend a clean flash as the device trees will be different. Google drive backup does a very good job of backing up all your apps and settings, so if you clean flash and sign in to your Google account the setup wizard will get restore everything :good:
Can you make this rom for mi5s (capricorn)?
Sent from my MI 5s using Tapatalk
Thanks, keep updating via xda pls.
one user mentioning Telegram is odd. if other devs decided not to share via Xda why a mere user have the rights to question who is willing to share via XDA. odd.
regardless, so far everything works. I am ok with permissive se-linux.
Dolby digital Plus and EdExposed working out of the box. ANT also working.
thank you
Wow, wonderfull bro. Please keep updating in here. Thank you so much for your care
Sir is your build based on android_r9? Cause quickswitch just doesn't work and all launchers are able to use gestures even if they are not the default launcher
It does take a while for me to figure it out, and I'm trying to confirm my guess??

This ROM is fantastic! Incredibly smooth with Bitgapps and starting very quickly.
Everything's working: bluetooth, wifi, data, fast-charging...will test and report about Screen Cast later.
In next releases I'd love to be able to switch a single SIMcard off.
However congratulations...and thank you for this!!!

Someone said it doesn't work. I will try and look into it, but I can't test this because my carrier locks VoLTE to their own branded phones.

Yes, based on r9. Personally I use Lawnchair with gestures enabled. I guess you will have to wait for quickswitch to be updated for r9

My special tester bro, for ever in my heart!
The amazing dev of Spark Os for making this rom.
ROM OS Version: 11.0
ROM Kernel: Bad Kernel
KERNEL: SOURCE: Download
ROM Firmware Required: Must be on OOS 11
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: 7
SELinux Status: Enforced
Updates:
15/08/2021
Updated to Spark OS 7 [MIST]
Both devices are now official
Common is revamped using los as a base and with help from AB a few new additions
Enchilada tree is also redone since the old one suffered from the big suck in order to get a cleaner dt
Fajita tree is a fork from Zauddin's tree since I heard really good things about his roms and the dt look very well kept
Vendor addons and OnePlus apps are less than before and again cleaned up a bit.
28/9/2021
Device especific changes:
-Vanilla build has been dropped.
COMMON:
-Rebased the whole tree to require OOS11 FW;
-Updated Device Extras to version 4;
-Changed over to BadKernel to address battery life;
-Added kcal calibration;
-Added panel modes from OOS11;
-Updates the build fingerprint to that of the pixel 5;
-Added polish.
Quick note for everyone to see, this build is on userdebug it has been tested but since im not official (I'm going to apply) I prefer having it like this. The vanilla version is still building but has also been tested.
If I get official I'l merge both this and the normal 6's thread.
Its now official for both devices!
Both download links are disabled with the September update builds coming very soon!
Now with the updated links to download the rom. Sadly this is the last Spark update for A11, even tho if bugs come up I'm still here to try and fix them and help any one with any question.
