Downgrade from MIUI Latest Weekly Beta to Stable ROM

due to a possible difference in Bootloader, I'm hesitant to do this.
anyone who tried to downgrade from global BETA Oreo to the global stable one without ROOT and I still have locked Bootloader?

Thank you. It needs unlocked BL as I check. Xiaomi unlock seems requiring a 2 days waiting time for the unlock code. is it not possible with Locked BL? someone will collect the phone in the next 2 hours

Xiaomitool can do it without unlocked BL I think. http://www.xiaomitool.com/

im still in beta. not possible via recovery?

Download the stock global firmware, go to system update and click menu in the top right and select package it should work from there I've just done it on my mix from global to beta and on my max from beta to global, mix has locked bootloader but max is unlocked it will only flash if the package is right

You can go from global to dev this way, but not the other way around..

I did on my mi max but that has an unlocked bootloader

Hi i've bought this mi mix 2 from another guy. It' s global version and it has MIUI 9.2 GLOBAL STABLE ( 9.2.3.0 NDEMIEK) but Nightly. How can i return to stable? This phone as no root and has lock bootloader.

Just skip the binding process under developers option and start unlocking with mi unlock tool. Ur device will get unlocked without binding or 86006 error.

why honor 8 pro development stoped..

Guys, did any one knows what are the reasons behind no custom rom development for our devices.
It has very good hardware and a lot of developments can be done.

There are openkirin roms though!!! I did use the RROS gsi... It wasn't all that bad!!

Do you know if there is any possible way of unlocking the bootloader of a honor 8 pro right now (its on the newest firmware too :/)
Or rooting without unlocking the bootloader? I don't think thats possible though, is it?

There is no working method to root on oreo, even with unlocked bootloader.

anyone know where I can get TWRP recovery for black shark 3? I want to root my phone but all I can find was the TWRP recovery for black shark 3 "PRO", I don't know if they are the same, don't want to risk bricking the phone
or if anyone can advise how to root the standard black shark 3?

LR Team provide TWRP recovery for BS3 and BS3 Pro, but now cant unlock bootloader without Shark account

I should recommend wait for global firmware or chinese firmware.... because if you do something wrong, you will have firmware to restore it.... because of covid 19, xiaomi don't release global firmware for bs3.

You cant. They dont unlock bl anymore. You have to pay someone.

I'm getting my bl 3 pro very soon & was searching for unlock & global rom
So I came cross this Chinese website that shows how to install TWRP

Maybe some of you is better in understanding how to do it or maybe it just we need to pay for it.

Question Root black shark 4 pro global or unlock the bootloader?

I would like to root it with magisk boot img patch method but in order to do that I have to unlock the bootloader but I can't do that because the phone does not have an unlock status in developer mode which is needed to unlock the bootloader.
If there's someone here who has managed to root the phone or even just unlocked the bootloader, I would appreciate it if you could guide us to how its done.

Will there ever be custom Rom Support for this phone because it seems almost like a waste to have a top notch chipset and only get 2,3 or 4 years of software support i mean check the specs its really decent to carry with you for years to come.
