Hello, Redmi 3S users, as we all know CameraNextMod is available for our device. But I have modded CameraNext with some library files tweaks for better sharpness and color temperature and especially night mode. I have also changed the CameraNext icon to Xperia camera icon.

I cannot find an option to attach screenshot.
And to remove this mod copy camera folder and paste it somewhere safe in SD card. Then flash the mod. to remove the mod just delete camera folder from system and paste the old one which you backed up.
Works with nougat roms?

very nice work indeed..leads to greater increase in quality of pictures..but in some cases it lead to poor pictures in dark in some cases, ie close up shots with flash enabled ,colours get washed off
i have enabled camera 2 api is enabled.. is it because of it??

Camera 2 api doesn't interfere in this. If you don't use Google camera disabled camera 2 api
During filming resumption of the pause function causes fc (RRemix N).

can u update this camera with zero shutter lag which is already updated in other device forums

Why do you need this in miui 9 beta? Isn't miui camera much better than this?

i personally dont like miui cameras as i find them blurry and worst at stabilization. tons of times i got irritated taking selfie pics with miui camera that ends with blurry snaps while in the past month i have used pixel hdr+ which worked fast and accurate for my mindset. so i have preferences

True... The worst stabilization of all cameras... Miui Redmi 3s camera is the worst 13 mpx camera that i ever tried.

Slow motion only works in bright lighting conditions and at 480p(SD video quality) only.
[Getting Dark videos under lowlight ? Well, No more !]
》 You can use Manual Shutter speed after getting into manual mode.
》 You can use the Manual shutter speed for both front & rear camera's.
》 Manual shutter speed can slso be used while recording front & rear camera video's.
》 4k video rec availabe at rear camera with manual shutter speed.
》 Higher resolution front camera video when compared to stock camera.
》 You can record video in wide mode in front camera.
Tips :
1) Turn on Camera2api in the settings.
2) While using front camera, Double tapping the camera switch changes the front camera into it's wide mode.
3) Use 4k rec under low light for much better exposure.

• External implementation of noise reduction algorithms require level_3 support of ca2pi.
• Enabling the same isn't in my domain of development nor the developer's.
• A system developer needs to work on camera2api fix on galaxy A50 on system side.
• After that, you can also use my modded Gcam for A50 here :

• Gcam natively requires pure Api's of Google, eg. Camera2api, etc.
Hence there's no other workaround for gcam.

The latest version 1.7 works great. With some tweaks to the settings (sorry OP), the wide angle and zoom work perfectly with both regular HDR and HDR enhanced. White balance is pretty good with some modifications and image clarity + sharpness is a lot better.

Might need some better white balancing (I'm colourblind so I struggle with that) but everything else is pretty good. Using the latest Nikita here.

Agreed and thanks a million. Working like a charm. By far the best gcam option for now.
Question. Should the Moto camera tuner be disabled? Could interference from this, distort the results? I have my tuner enabled, would it make a difference?
FYI/PSA: The everything works config posted isn't working in the latest update 1.9, crashes. But app overall seems to be working well. I haven't played with configs too much before, but if I land on something I'm happy with, will share.

yes I understand that you use the latest version. But I'm asking about a config (.xml file), that works good with Moto Edge. There are configs for Moto Fusion+, G7 Power etc, but no Edge, so I assume that I need a config that has the same lenses as Edge (64, wide angle, telephoto and TOF).
Can you just show me what config you use, that works so well? Or you have your own? When I download 2.0 and have 3 options below (3X, 1X and 4X)
-3x is probably telephoto
-1x is main lens
-4x is wide angle (?) which just freezes and doesn't work
Anything on advancement? I'm using 8.1 of this app.

Do you know how to make the Nikita pictures less "saturated"? Also the BSG link is down sadly
Why can't I download the camera and configure the xml to capture the starry sky? It can't compare with my previous pixel4 at all. It's too much. . . . . low . I am using a g60

Hello Moto G40/60 Users
Being a moto g40 user, I know stock camera photography sucks
I am testing different GCAM MODS for moto g40 for a couple of weeks
I have found some of the best gcams working for the device currently
It's surprising that all the features gcam are working in moto g40 considering it launched just a month ago
enough talking
the gcams are listed below
1) NIKITA'S 7.4. v2.0 ( for normal use )
although there is an 8.1 version available,7.4 v2.0 is very stable comparatively

I have installed 7.4 v2.0 Samsung,
configs 'not available for now
what's working? (almost everything)
EXCEPT: Timelapse, Ultrawide angle videos
-PRIMARY 64 MP CAMERA - HDR +enhanced, PORTRAIT MODE, NIGHT SIGHT, ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO 1080P 30/60 FPS, 4K 30 fps
slow-mo at 1/4x and 1/8 x works very well with autofocus unlike stock cam and other gcam
-ULTRAWIDE 8MP HDR +enhanced, NIGHT SIGHT, ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY (videos not working)
NOTE; you have to tweak some settings before using
2) BSG's mgc 8.1

it looks like ultra wide camera isnt working on anyone of the above. I tried all on my new Moto G60. Can u also tell me how to bring the ultra wide angle button in camera interface. Most of these do not have it by default but when you restore an xml config it comes back. On some of them the wide angle photo is clicked but app crashes as soon as the processing starts.
