Installs fine but when you hit "play" the button goes in but it does NOTHING!!

hello to everybody, i'm new here
i just wanted to unlock my universal. i read the instructions in the readme of the downloaded file from here (Source) carefully and wanted to enter the bootloader.
but after i press the power, light and reset button simultaneously like here: Image ...it just restarts (like i only press the reset key).... --> no bootloader apers
anybody knows the reason why it doesn't start the bootloader? thank u for helping
hi, welcome to forum. sometimes can be tricky. but if you hold the buttons then press reset and continue holding for a couple more seconds then it should load the bootloader. hope this helps

i'm holding power and light button simultaneously and then i push the reset button. it seems to be not working.. like it ignors that i'm pressing the other buttons...?
hi, tried with mine. if i hold the light and power and when i press reset and hold it also it enters bootloader. if this doesnt work sorry maybe a more experienced user can enlighten us.
solved the prob
power is working. reset is working. if you press the light and backlight settings come up then thats working depending on your rom. not sure what your issue is if they all work.

I installed the ROM Cookie Energy and insert a PIN code and restarted my Diamond. When he turned on the password that was entered was not working! I tried a HardReset but the phone does not accept! Nothing happens when I make the key combination!

Hard reset is VOL DN + Middle Circle Button + Reset

Still do not understand! I open MTTY and press RESET but still only resets the device. As I explained in the tutorial MTTY but not open the USB port. Only COM1. Please HELICOPTER88. Help me.

got mine to work with these instructions, i dropped htc few weeks a go and it had the same symptons, only booted to the start not os, so i just few minutes ago upped new rom in the ?boot mode? through usb on my win7 and now htc starts to os again, thanks for the instructions and,

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me! I took my DIAMOND a technician who fixed the VOL DOWN button. And I could do hardReset.

I have got my Note II rooted and flashed the Android Revolution HD Rom.
Everything was fine and it worked smoothly.
But after installation of many apps, a problem turned out yesterday:
The menu button function has been mapped to the home button, which means when I pressed the home button, it will detected as menu button instead.
How can I fixed this problem or remapping the key without re flashing the rom?

I accidently went into sideload and now I can't get out. What do i do? Do i like drain the battery? Or is there a way to go out of it? Because I can't just pull the battery out on the Xperia S. Thanks

try to press and hold vol up and power button at the same time for like 8 seconds. it should restart the phone.
