Playing music or movie with speakerphone? - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Is there a way to listen to music or watch movie with speakerphone? Thanks

If you mean the speaker which is above the touchscreen, the answer is yes. By defaults this is the speaker which plays every sound when the headphone's jack isn't put into the Blue Angel. I recommend you to use TCPMP for listening to music and especially watching films. It's free, it's lite and made just for your pocket(PC)

Yes, I'm using it with my O2 XDA II.
Sound quality is fantastic especially when you're using another player like GSPlayer which allows you to adjust the effects such as 3D, surround, bass, echo, reverb, equalizer etc etc
Search for other threads here and you'll see other comments
Thanks FOSA for your reply

Hi!
Yes, you can.
However, depending on which software player you're using the music may not resume from the last location after you end the call ie. the music could be continuously playing in the background while you're talking.
So, if you want to resume the music from its last location after ending your call look for music player that supports this feature. I think MortPlayer supports this.

Dash headset with media player control functions?

I sometimes listen to mp3 using the build in Media Player. The single most annoying thing is that if I need to pause the mp3, I have to take out Dash, unlock screen, go to media player, than pause it [email protected]!#%[email protected]#% Looks pretty silly if I sit next to a iPod owner...
There is a button on dash's default headset, but it doesn't seem to do anything to the media player. So my question is that if there's an enhanced headset has several extra buttons to pause/play/FF/REW etc? Or at minimum, just to pause/play?

as far as i know. no. there's not. only via bluetooth headphones by virtue of the a2dp/avcrp function can you control media player ( or any other media player programs)

[Q] PlayerPro very Quiet ! :(

Hi, I was looking for a music player that had the functions I needed.
And after trying PowerAmp, DoubleTwist and PlayerPro I finally found exactly what I needed from PlayerPro.
I really want to buy the Full Version, as their is only a Trial and then you have to purchase to continue use, but I am having an issue.
The PlayerPro plays my songs almost half as loud as the stock player, at the same volume level.
I mean, if my volume is set to 100% then the Stock player is 2x as loud (atleast) as player pro.
How can I get PlayerPro to play my songs louder?
I have no experience with equalisers and don't know the slightest part of an equaliser, I know nothing and have had a look, but do not understand it in the slightest.
Any ideas on how to make PlayerPro louder?
THANKS !
Perhaps should add, its more noticeable through headphones, it is so quiet in headphones, its almost un-listenable.
Havn't noticed as much through the speaker.
Its not my headphones as they are Dre.Beats and work fine with the Stock music player.
Help please? :/

[Q] Music Goes Quiet When Playing Games.

WHY when i listen to Music Whilst Playing Games the volume to my Music goes down??
Its annoying is there way to stop this, i've tried turning down all sounds from game but it still happenes.
please help its annoying.
thanks trimbal.
Probably has something to do with the sound API for the music player. There might be a setting in your music player to not lower the volume when other sounds play over the speaker.
It's meant to be useful like when you're listening to music and a notification or your GPS has an announcement, the music lowers automatically so you can here it.

Try turning off the game music and sound effects. Then close game, start music player and then start game.
thanks for replys
No none of that work...has any1 else had this problem? ?
and any other help.
thanks.
You need to troubleshoot. Try different music players. Pandora, Google play, different music players (loads to choose from).
Do they all do it?

No audio in google music for only "one" song.

Hi! Loving my new phone with everyday that passes by. But, I'm having a really weird issue.
I have a music track (Hotel California) in flac (16bit) format on my phone. Although it does play on google music, there is no sound output in either the speaker or the headphone jack. But when I use my bluetooth headphones, it plays flawlessly. Interestingly this is happening to only that one particular track.
I have 90% of my music on the phone in flac and even the 5.1 channel flac files play perfectly. Apart from this one song! (this happens with only google music)
But when I use Neutron Music player, the song plays. But again not with google music. AAAHHH! It's frustrating!!!
P.S. It is happening with some other tracks too. Perhaps hardware decoding?
