Hello, I need the above cab to run a game/puzzle from spb. The puzzle loaded, but stated I needed this cab.
Can someone help me to locate it and walk me through installing it? I would greatly appreciate it.

Basic i know but i am going to use thingonasprings wm6 on my universal,This i know how to do,But i need to use this ftp://xda:[email protected]_Unlock_v1.7z
first to unlock it.

Hi all - I'm very much a newbie here, so please forgive me if I haven't cottoned to something which is pretty simple!
I'm moving up from an HTC-S710 to an unlocked mpv-m3100/Tytn/Hermes.
It's a new machine that hasn't been used before, and still has the WM5 software on it.
What I'd like to do I to upgrade this to WM6 before I start putting some applications onto it.
I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction and show me what I need. Bear in mind that I am a mac user, and so would prefer to do this without having to use a windows pc if at all possible.
If it is not possible to do this without a windows pc, all will not be lost, because I shall have access to a windows pc (an old one which someone is kindly getting rid of) in a couple of week.
Many thanks for any help you can give me, and please forgive me if this is covered elsewhere, which I haven't discovered yet.

Hi all!
I am askin for someones help, I have been explorin the threads with agility, but I think I have a lesser knowledge in software language(especially if it is in english) so I cant understand completly how to make my htc p3400 look like other newer htc-s.
By explorin I found out that i want to make him finger friendly and that i need to install (or flash???) wm6 on it.
I tried several programs on it and they are good, like pointUI, and i managed to put a simplified HTCcube on it(it has no applications side).
So as a big noob that cant make sense of many instructions, probably cause of lack of software knowledge and language problems, can somebody guide me through the process(and not just say;AND THEN U FLASH IT) how to do that, and of course advise me on which rom(if i got it right? )to put on that my p3400 works fine!
Thank anyone who helps me with d process!
P.S.And a big apology to administrators for making this thread, cause there are probably many of them like this one, but if someone helps me and makes a step by step explanation probably there wont be any new threads like this!

ok i get steps 1 and 2 what to do in my attempt to put wm6 on my p3400, but step 3 is for me a mystery as I said in first post(above) how do i flash, what do to next and what is root of my device, is it the htc folder in it or....?

i am a newb at everything. i have no idea how to edit rgb565 files, but i want a custom splash screen. could somebody either tell me how to do it, or add DK MODS in the top gray section of this splash? thanks in advance.

i changed my boot animation to dancedroid, so i changed my boot screen to match. instructions would still be appreciated, but instead of adding DK MODS to the other one, please add it to the attached one. thanks again for all your experience.

no i do not. i seems alot of stuff for android is just for windows use. i would suggest getting vmwares virtual machine and running windows in there. it will take a while to set all the networking up on there but in the end should be worth it

i think i might get vmwares in the future, but the price of windows 7 sickens me. i am running on a friends windows laptop right now, and have the convertor program open, but it won't let me put any rgb565 files in to be converted. thanks for all your help so far. also, do you know if vmwares costs any money itself? i'll google it...

okey, i have read both of the links you have given me very thouroghly, but niether one tells me how to convert an rgb565 to an img or a jpg in order to customize it. is it as simple as doing all the command prompts in reverse? thanks once again

Easiest way? Pay someone who has done ti before to do yours...
Next easiest way? goto the CDMA forum and read the instructions there... Takes less than an hour to do even for a novice if you can follow the step by step instructions
