A very nice case by the Swiss Army Knife people - Gen8, Gen9, Gen10 Accessories

I just picked up a case from Walmart for $16 that is made by SwissGear (aka Wenger) that comes with a lifetime warranty. It has a zippered enclosure for the tablet and a zippered front pouch. The Archos 101 fits very nicely in it and if you have a very thin keyboard, that fits in there too, but its pretty snug in this case. I have the Apple mini bluetooth keyboard. There is about an inch on top, but length wise it fits perfectly. So it won't really slide around.
The UPC is 092837762329 and the part number is GA-7623-02.
The computer/tablet pocket is 10.5" L x 1.25" W x 7.75" H
The exterior size is 12" L x 1.5" W x 9" H
Anyway, just thought you all might like another good option.

I got the same case for Christmas. I used the foam insert to make two perfectly sized spacers to put in the bottom of the case, so the 101 fits perfectly.

Pics please?

Yes,pics plz

http://www.walmart.com/ip/SwissGear-Lunar-10.2-Sleeve-Black/14964986
That has pics for those of you wanting them.
To hijack the thread for a brief sec, I did something similar with the foam insert of a netbook case. Target was selling (is selling?) a hard honeycomb style 10" netbook case that is obviously slightly too thick and tall, so I cut the styrofoam packing that was inside, glued each one to hard cardboard, and covered them in felt. Now the top has one half felted up and the bottom has the other; end result is a hard case i can throw in a backpack or toss around the house and the tablet is hugged in cushiony feltness. For $18 bucks and some time it beat paying some of the prices for the flimsy cases designed for the archos that are out there now - although the $25 folio case floating around ebay is tempting.

In case anyone is still interested, here's the pics of my "mod" to the Swiss Army Knife case to fit the Archos 101.
Note: the foam was inside the case when I bought it.
First, I laid the tablet on the foam aligned with the top of it drew a line across the foam using the bottom of the Archos as a guide. I then cut out the piece and duplicated it.

See how the 2 pieces of foam will fill up the extra inch or two at the bottom of the case.
Shove the foam pieces into the bottom of the case and it now fits like a glove.

kickstand case??

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8091859&postcount=4
can anyone tell me if this case will work with the vibrant. if not, where can i find a kickstand case, other than the bodyglove brand.
Bodyglove has a cool case that has a kickstand. It's around 20-25
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
i have both the black mesh kickstand as well as the bodyglove. they both fit and work. the mesh kickstand may not be the top choice of some vibrant owners because it does not protect/cover the borders of the front glass/face of the vibrant as most cases do. i've had problems with the bodyglove case as it appears to be scratching the back case of my vibrant. i had the same exact issue on bodyglove case with kickstand on my hd2.
.
i let my sister have my bodyglove case. i actually didn't have a problem with the weaknesses of the black mesh case since the makers of it actually put some soft padding within the case to prevent scratches on the battery/back cover of the vibrant.

I think that seller was selling 3 diff colors; black, white, and pink(?). I bought the black one 3 wks ago and recieved it about a wk ago. Initially, I thought that it was going to be shiny hard plastic case but to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't. The exterior is covered in a thin layer of hard rubber, covering the black hard shiny plastic underneath, while the inside of it is slightly padded. It looks a lot better in person than in pics.
Is the kickstand serving its purpose? Hell yea, it is...it makes watching movies on my dope SAMOLED screen that much more awesome The hard rubber makes for a good grip so it won't easily slip out of your palms like it sometimes would w/out it and it gives the phone an overall slick/cool (IMO) look. The only downside so far is that I'm getting some very small worn out spots where the hard rubber has rubbed off but it's not a big deal though.
Pics or it didn't happen, you say? Well, check 'em out !

ndCheap Vehicle Mount for Otterbox Defender Users

Everyone knows by now that the Atrix mounts do not work with most cases, especially with the Otterbox Defender case since it is rather large. In my quest for a car windshield mount I happened to come across an extra mount for my garmin Nuvi GPS that I had sitting around. After checking out the size I realized it could easily be modified to be used with the Atrix Otterbox Defender case.

What you need:
Motorola Atrix Otterbox Defender Case
Garmin Nuvi windshield mount (cheap on ebay) http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=garmin+nuvi+mount&_sacat=See-All-Categories
"Compatible Models: Garmin NUVI 200, 200W, 205, 205W, 250, 250W, 255, 255W, 260, 260W, 265T, 265WT, 270, 275T. "
Thin Foam padding (I used some I had left over from an Air conditioner installation)
Scissors
Dremel & #420 Cutoff wheel
All you need to do is trim the bottom and top "tabs" for the Garmin mount with your dremel cutoff wheel. While I didn't do the cleanest job, I'm sure you can make it look nicer if you care to. Use the plastic indentations on the Defender case to determine how much to cut off of the Garmin mount.
You will want to start your cuts to the left side of the original Garmin "tab", The reason for this is that you want the phone to sit the furthest to the right hand side as you can get it, so that the flap for the usb power cord plugin can open without hitting anything. By starting to the left side you will have ample room.
After you do the cuts if you test fit your phone in the modified cradle you will notice that there is a bit of side to side play, and if you shake the crap out of it the phone will fall off of the mount. To remedy this situation and put tension onto the new mounts I used my scissors and cut (2) very thin pieces of sticky-backed foam. I had some sitting around from a air conditioner installation, but you should be able to get it anywhere those types of things are sold. Stick them onto the backing as in the photo above and you are done.
That's it. You now have a nice cheap dock for your Otterbox Defender-equipped Atrix.
Enjoy.
Great mod! I've been looking for something like this since I got my otterbox.
I had been toying with the idea of trying to get a hold of an additional belt clip and modding that with a suction cup mount but they aren't available separate from the case.
It's great to see a simple solution that is readily available and inexpensive to boot.
Thanks for sharing!
Glad I could help, I was in the same predicament. This works great and for cheap. Those mounts sell on ebay for like 4-6 bux or cheaper.
There's no need to trim if you already have the belt clip that comes with the defender case, the Garmin Nuvi holder will just clip right to the belt clip...
Wow. Necropost! Great first post.

Pics of modified bumper case with Seidio backdoor and holster

Hi all,
My previous thread illustrated some pictures of the Seidio case vs the Otterbox case:Seidio extended backdoor and Active case pics. Although the Seidio case was decent, I didn't need all that bulk for everyday (when I'm not traveling or camping).
I didn't have the heart to gut my otterbox case, so I came across Angeliou's thread listing an inexpensive black bumper case: Black Bumper for S3 (HQ pics) Recommend!! from http://www.ebay.com/itm/Simple-Black...item3f1b0aa03f.
I purchased from the ebay link and waited a few weeks for the case... Hong Kong address on the return address (I'm in the U.S.A.).
For the price, I figured if I screwed up this inexpensive bumper case it was no big deal. I took a rotary tool to the inside plastic edge so the Seidio backdoor fit. It's not a perfect cut, but I was anxious to get it setup. Additionally, I scuffed up the shiny plastic edge of the case so that it had a brushed look to match the rubber and the Seidio backdoor. Forgive the smudges and lint on my phone, as we're doing some renovation at my house. This case fits in the Seidio holster and slides better in my pocket when I don't use the holster. I find myself using the holster 95% of the time since I got it, as it makes access much easier while wearing jeans, especially when sitting down. The bumper case fits a little loose within the holster but is secure. It will not fall out of the holster (although I have a bad habit of moving large pieces of furniture through small doorways which tends to rub against the release tab; hasn't released yet though).
I am finally completely satisfied with my extended case setup. I might replace the Seidio battery with a larger mAh Mugen in a couple years. However, for now, I can use the phone regularly with all the battery draining features on 24/7 and still get a day to a day and a half out of the phone.

I have a bumper case similar to the one you use . I'm going to go cut it up right now. Thanks for posting this!
I purchased this and it fits perfectly no cutting required.

Review of KLD Iceland series slim folio case for S4 w/lots of pics!!!

I honestly had no intention to review another S4 case (as you all know I do a ton of reviews here, link in my signature), but when I got this case for someone else - it just looked so cool for such a dirt cheap price, I had to review it. So here you go, Review of KLD (Kalaideng) Iceland series slim folio case. http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/KLD...laxy-S4-S-IV-i9500-i9505-i9502-MLC-I9500-212/
You really don't have high expectations when the case cost $3.83, but once you open it up and see how original the finish looks - you'll be surprised. The inner PC holder/shell is super slim with a secure grip and all the precise cutouts for power/volume/camera/flash/speaker ports. It's a typical design with wrapped around sides and open top/bottom. What makes it unique, and I do have to admit it's targeted for ladies, is the finish of the cover. It's obviously PU leather material and feels like that to the touch, but the visual has this frosted finish. Once closed, it should keep S4 screen from scratches, and also has a cutout at the top to continue using a phone even with a cover closed. Just a basic folio case with a very nice finish, and also a fancy packaging at one fantastic price. Here are the pictures.

Since this is for the ladies, I want to make sure guys are not left out I had a lot of other stuff ordered from TVC-Mall.com as well, including this cool 11-in-1 multifunction tool: http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/Fas...nction-Tool-with-Free-Leather-Pouch-HHC-2030/
I know it's only $1, but this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Measured approximately 69mm x 45mm and about 2mm thick, it's smaller than a credit card, made out of heavy duty stainless steel, and has 11 built in tool which are actually useful and functional. Everything from can and bottle openers, to flat screwdriver, a ruler, a hex and butterfly screw wrench, knife edge and saw blade. The only thing, it doesn't come with a leather pouch per description but rather a thick plastic one. Honestly, I wouldn't expect a leather pouch for $1 anyway. I actually got a few to keep it in my cars. Here are the pictures.

Review of Miicalo notebook diary case for Note 3 w/lots of pics!!!

This is a review of Miicalo Notebook Diary two-color case for Note 3. http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/Not...9000-Yellow-Dark-Blue-MLC-N9005-61G/?adtype=1
When it comes to smartphone cases, for some it's like a wardrobe accessory. Especially if such case cost a few bucks, has a decent build quality, and will make you stand out from a crowd - you can never go wrong with it. Based on my previous experience, tvc-mall has been my go to place for any cool looking case on a budget. In my opinion, they got one of the largest selection of smartphone accessories, and a great service. With my latest order, actually headphones (review coming up soon, just keep checking a link in my sig), I browsed through their catalog of latest arrivals and this particular case caught my eye because of it's unique look.
The case arrived in a very nice brand name package. What made it unique is a synthetic leather design which looks like a cover of notebook diary with binding rings. It had a very impressive details with a leather cover made to look like a denim material with a stitching around it and plastic binding rings which actually open up. Inside, the top cover had a soft felt material to make sure it doesn't scratch the screen of Note 3 and also 2 pockets to hold either a credit card or a driver license. The back part of the case had an attached clear TPU case to hold the Note 3. The TPU case has a full wrap around design with a precise cutouts for all the ports and a flexible cover area next to volume and power buttons to make it easy to push.
Overall, this is definitely one interesting looking case which could easy be mistaken from a distance as a notebook diary. Obviously, this case is not intended for rugged protection, although inner tpu case will provide some level of protection. I guess the main purpose of this case is to hide the Note 3 under a cover of a neat looking notebook diary. For less than $4 and considering a decent quality of the material, I think its a good value which comes in 7 different color combos.
Here are the pictures.

Thanks but the colors are ugly and the rings are bulky.

That ring will be so annoying for me. But beautiful looking and nice review!
