And is cheaper here:

Doesn't look like it protects the top or bottom though.

Just got one on eBay for under $18 and free shipping. Should get here by next week. I will post a quick review after I try it out.

I wonder if there the same as the tmobile version they have a few cases

do not like it standing straight up.

Thats not what she said...

I just picked up one of these a couple hours ago at a local sprint shack. I do wish it had a bit more coverage, specifically top and bottom. But I've found (through multiple drops already) that the phone itself is pretty sturdy, it's just that the battery cover pops off way too easy, which usually equals battery popping out as well. So this case will do what I mainly want, which is to keep the battery in And I think the kickstand will be useful!

i just saw one hands on for a co-workers phone. i actually like it. found it on amazon for $15.93 (free shipping) and ebay for $13.99 (free shipping). i like the white case-mate pop, but this seems a bit thinner with a better kick-stand.

Just bought one off ebay for 13.99. I have the pop case which I like, but it is too thick

I ordered mine from Amazon, $13.26 with free shipping. will give feedback once received.

Got mine the other day (my 7th case for the touch...). It doesn't cover the top or bottom very well but it is thinner than the casemate pop case. If you want thin and a kickstand, this is the way to go.

Like mine, it stands up fine on its side (landscape).

I wish there was a non-textures version

mine arrived yesterday and so far I really like it. was surprised at how nice it looks too, very sleek but still the manly style. the kickstand is sturdy and due to the size, my phone still fits the same leather holster and the garmin windshield holder.

this is the exact one I'm using... will likely always use this brand as they make good quality products.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QQED5O
they have it in all black as well, just search around on Amazon.

This case also fits in the seidio surface holster as well.

FYI for anyone interested in this case. I just ordered one on ebay for $8.99 with free shipping. It is on "Sale" from $9.99 for the next 6 days (until 12/19/11?) according to the ebay post.
Just search on ebay for "Body Glove Samsung Epic 4G Touch". The pic shows the gray version but the model number is correct and it only comes in black for the ET4G.

I got the cibo s case but thinking maybe cancel that and get this. how much thickness does it add?

I just got this case yesterday, and so far I'm pleased with the sturdiness and build. It does add some bulk to the back of the phone. On the phone without a case, the bottom back of the phone sticks out more versus the top of the phone. With this case, it now has a flat back with a little more girth. That will give you a sense of how much thickness the case adds to the phone. Hope that makes sense.
I do wish this case was a little grippier (if that's a word). Still a little slick in my hands, but easy to get in and out of my pockets. Overall, I'm please with this case, especially for the price. My main thing I needed in a case was the kickstand. My son watches shows on my phone when we are out and it makes it so much more convenient with this case.

just got the body glove case in the mail, the kickstand is a really useful feature but I feel the cibo s case offers much better grip since it has a cross hash pattern on the edges. I say protection wise it's better also because the top/bottom are not open (and I suspect if the phone were to ever fall, it would pop out of the body glove). the extra thickness is not a problem though.

[Review] Seidio Innocase for Vibrant

So the first thing I noticed was that this is not a slider, but a front-and-back snap case. The product description says "Unique snap together design and opening slot makes putting on and removing your case easy" but for some reason thought it was a slider like the Surface II for the Captivate. So, it's not their fault I misunderstood.
Since the front bezel cover is so thin, my initial impression is that it seems a little flimsy. The back cover is also quite thin and has no lining like other Seidio cases. I think this was a conscious decision in order to keep the case as slim as possible. The fit is quite precise, so I don't think the lining would really make much difference as there is no movement within the case.
Although the front bezel piece seems flimsy at first, it feels quite sturdy once you snap it to the back cover. I do have some concerns the clips that snap together will wear down over time if you remove the cover frequently. Only time will tell on that point.
It has Seidio's "signature soft touch finish" which is like a somewhat rubberized matte texture. It's quite nice, but attracts prints if you have oily fingers.
Overall, the fit is pretty much perfect and the cutouts are precise. It's very thin and has a nice texture. Of the six cases I have, it's certainly the nicest. It does, however, cost about as much as the other five cases combined - $29.95.
At $19.95, I'd probably recommend it in a second. At $30 I have some reservations, namely the long term durability of the clasps that keep the two pieces together.
Vibrant case wont work
should be gettin mine tomorrow....
i think they have 6 month warranty which actually does work. thats another big plus with this company.

Good to know. Hopefully won't have to use it.
Thanks for the review.
I'm still sticking to my white mesh case. I like really light and almost-not-there type of cases.
Thanks for the review, mine should be here within a day or so.
I ordered using the coupon code XMAS15 that was posted here. Not certain it's still valid though as the poster said it may expire on the 19th.
To the OP, how does the phone feel in your hands compared to what you had previously?
Also, did your volume buttons ever rattle? This is my only hesitation as the silicone case from t-mobile prevents the rattles I have from the volume rocker (which is loose).

For reference, I've had TPU's, hybrid TPU/Plastic (the one with hard clear back), a generic version of the Barely-There, and a flexible plastic perforated case (XMatrix Cover from DayDeal).
The added size and weight is similar to the XMatrix perforated case. It's not as slim as the Barely-There style cases, but I think it's definitely lower profile than TPU or silicone.
The finish is nearly the same as the Barely-There knock off I have, but seems a little more durable (the coating on the old case started to come off within days). It's smooth, almost suede-like, but has a bit of tack when held in the hand. When put on a smooth surface, like a desk or on wood trim in a car, it does not stick at all. This is a bit of a negative for me. One thing I like about TPU cases is that they kind of stick when you lay them on a smoother surface (I usually put my phone on the wood trim next to the gear shift in my car) but are not tacky otherwise.
As for the volume buttons, mine are not loose so I can't really comment on that issue.
One other thing I've noticed in the last few days of using the case, is that bezel cover is attached to the bottom part in only a few spots so there is some give in the areas that aren't clipped together. I think they should have added a couple more contact points on each side. It's not terrible, but I'm a bit OCD so it probably bothers me more than it would most other people.
I'll report back, should be here anytime now.. thanks man.
Case is good, very slim and feels good in hand, not perfect like other Seidio products. Like the review states, the case is NOT slide-on which sucks. I dont know why they used clip-on design, with slide-on case could have been even slimmer and more durable. Fit is also nice, but also not perfect, phone is just a little loose in case, not noticeable right away until you play with it.

After waiting around for the SGP Slider, I was also hoping this would be a sliding case.
I did get to hold a Captivate with the Innocase II, which is a slider, and the fit was pretty awful. It moves around a ton compared to this front-back type. I guess I'll take this style and more precise fit over slider with a bad fit.
Is it the bump on the Vibrant that is the main issue with a slider?
I was a bit let down to find this was a snap on the front/back design.

it is nice and clean. my nexus one case fits better, but they probably had to make it clip-on design i guess for Vibrant bump
Nice review! I can't help but feel like Seidio threw this product together in a hurry, after they realized there are people with Vibrants. It just looks cheap compare to their other offerings.
Just got it. initial impressions:
1 feels great in the hand. Looks good too.
2 I absolutely hate how easy it un-snaps.
3 I want to know their return policy till they have a legit case like the ones I am accustomed too from seidio.
4 it's much more difficult to press power now.
EDIT: okay, found out how to do the return, just waiting to hear back from them.

[Q] did anyone try those cheap silicone cases from ebay?

The textured sides give very nice grip. The description says silicon/gel, but I'm told by someone on this forum it's actually TPU. I can tell you it's nice and firm and feels very protective. Bought mine from a shop called chitterchatter for £5, where I also got my phone from too. Case is even cheaper on ebay. Here's pics I took of mine. Screen protector needs redoing, too many bubbles, lol.

I originally bought one of those silicone ones in the first post, it was quite loose on my phone and the surface kind of stuck to my jeans pocket making it annoying to take out, so I then bought one of the gel/tpu cases that looks identical to the one in the post above, which does a sterling job.

I bought this from ebay for £2.90 and am very pleased with it, collects a bit of dust at the bottom but a lift and gentle blow gets rid of that. Feels grippy and adds a nice bit of bulk to the phone aswell.
About six weeks ago, I bought 4 TPU cases very similar to those mentioned in the OP, for US $8.00. Fortuitously, they arrived on the same day I took delivery on the SGS2. They fit pretty well, although the long sides are a little loose, but not enough to be a danger of slipping off. On my case, the power & volume switches are covered by the case, which has button skins stamped into it. The back is textured with a diamond pattern, and the sides look slick but do have some grip.
Like most cases, it has the top right corner cut out to accommodate the antenna on the Korean version of the SGS2. The first few days I had the case, I noticed it attracted quite a bit of dust, but that appears to have subsided in the last few weeks. Overall, it's much better than I'd have expected a $2 case to be; I'd bought 4 figuring they'd be so crappy that only one of them would fit well, or they'd fail in short order and I'd have to upgrade to a CaseMate, PDAir, or Krusell.

Yea, i bought 2. But you need them TPU one's and not those gel covers. Mine fits pretty wel and worth the 2 bucks.
I bought one S line TPU case, but I find it prety hard to press the buttons. overall it's a really nice case fits perfectly (hard to take off )
i decided to buy this aluminium one :

[ REVIEW ] VIPERTEK Leather clip case quick review

This case is very nice. Especially for the price of under 15 bucks shipped. The leather is very soft, almost feels real haha. Might be... The clips are very secure, they do not block any ports, speakers etc. There is a nice "friction" styled clip that holds great closed. The different angles for viewing the tab are great too, very solid "lock up". The interior material is soft too.
In the end, you cant go wrong with this case.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G19P7M
Not for Italy....thank you amazon!
I got it for $10 shipped from Amazon, and they are offering to refund the whole thing if you leave a review.
I don't think they are doing it anymore...
Sent from my Galaxy Tab!
I got my case yesterday, been waiting since August 24th or something for it lol. It was on backorder, but I got a paper saying if I did a review (not a 5 star.. I says just a review) I could get a refund. I will say I like this case a lot better than the Samsung one, for the main reason it has more angles. It does feel a bit more rough on the tab, but I like how all the ports/buttons are showing.
If you just need a case to hold your tab at angles while you use it, I think this is the cheapest case out there for it.
The Samsung official book case is very very nice, and super thin. But the viewing angles are horrible. I have this case on the way and will be going with this one for sure.
I just got a Galaxy Tab last week (gift from awesome girlfriend...) - ordered a 3 pack of screen protectors (Acase, not too bad) and this case on Amazon.
Ordered the case on Thursday, had it by Saturday (Amazon Prime). Looks like some people were waiting quite a while to get these.
I was hoping for a case that was made of fairly tight leather... you know how some cases look cheap because the leather is very poofy, has a lot of extraneous padding in it? So, this case still retains a slim sleek look, like a nice portfolio.
I like the microfiber inside with the three grooves for leaning the device into.
I wish the clip that held the case closed was like 2mm longer so it really reaches around the corner of the device and clips in solidly. It's held closed pretty well, but I've been bending it a bit to make it clasp just a bit tighter.
There's a little embossed viper logo on the front... some other brand on Amazon, equally cheap, had the Samsung logo on there.
In all, pretty great case for about $15 shipped.
The card I received in my package did instruct me to write a five star review for them, but DID NOT mention anything about getting a refund if you do so. I would say don't buy expecting to get it for free
I also just recieved this case. It's pretty slick, way better than the cheap eBay case I was using before (which cost twice as much.) Only complaint is that the case was mighty stinky to begin with, but its fine now.
this case is awesome and is way better than the official Samsung one. it did cause the newton ring, but I got rid of it. going to see if this trick works to keep the ring off.
This case is just superb for the price.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium
This case has been reviewed several times, although under different names. Search for "clip case." I got it free (after the refund). For me it's the best case on the market right now.
just ordered one of these just to have another spare. 15 cases to my collection. i really need to stop. this is getting ridiculous. lol.
Hahahah! You, sir, have what we call a case-by-case addiction!
These are exactly like the Pyro one you reviewed a while back. Can't beat the price though.
I agree, it's like the Pyrotek case. It looks a bit on the cheaper quality side, but I got it because I was tired of the wonky angles the official case was giving me.

So the only difference between this case and the Pyro case is that this one feels cheaper? It feels pretty nice to me. The price is just untouchable though. lol
I always wondered what the difference between this and the pyro case was.
yeah haha I dont know how come can consider this cheap lol price yeah but quality? Its pretty much to go to case for the tab. Its 15 bucks shipped, looks great, feels great, quality and craftsmanship is nice too.
Its just another case with the crappy stand design. Its not worth it. Look at the massive foot print it has when in stand mode. How can you use the device on your desk when the bottom case sticks out at you like a sore thumb. Very annoying.

I made my assessment from looking at task650's review on the Pyro Skin case.
When I look at my case, the clips that hold in the sides of the tab have so overlapping of the material (which I just trimmed off) the material that the tab stands up on for the angles has this grainy look on it, whereas on the pyroskin one, it looks smooth. There's the little notches on the 2nd stand that the pyroskin case has, that looks like it may promote a tighter close, where on this case the side clips just press onto it. Although all these observations could possibly be exclusive to my case.
That's what I made my observations on. I'm not saying it's a POS... because it's not; i'm just saying the quality LOOKS a bit on the cheaper side... which is fine by me because it was cheap as hell and it does it's job awesome.

What case do you use?

What is a good minimal case for the Atrix?
I care more about feel than protection.
If you use or are going to be using any of the docks, don't bother with an actual case. Too much of a pain to deal with every time you dock and undock (I used to think otherwise!).
I took mine off because it now just goes between my desk or pocket and the vehicle dock.
That said, if you are not using a dock, this case from Seido is rock-solid and looks great, Comes in several colors, this one just happens to match my roadster.
(while I really wouldn't characterize this case as "minimal," compared to an Otter Box, it is!)
I've been using a Seidio Surface for about a week:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=mobile&field-keywords=seidio+surface+atrix
Very impressed with the quality of this case which feels good and is very slimline and lightweight yet still sturdy.
You'll find video reviews of the case on Youtube which may be helpful.
The added advantage for you living in the US is you will only have to pay about half the amount I did to get one posted over here to the UK!
I was using an otterbox.. But i find it makes it hard to swipe at the edges of the phone so I'm back to being bare
I had a Speck candy shell case for awhile, but I found it made the screen smudge when I would try to clean it so I took it off.

Incipio feather, but they keep cracking. Even though the company is great and has already sent me replacements twice.
I have ordered these now
Doesn't really qualify as a "case" as such, but a full body kit from Zagg definitely qualifies as minimal. I take pretty good care of my phones and hate the extra bulk in my pocket so it works for me. Having said that, these don't help much in a fall...
I've used several cases but ended up with just the zagg front. The battery cover completely covers the corners so I didn't feel the extra bulk of a case was really worth the extra protection. Plus they're cheap to replace and cases are a pain when using docks.

You are amazingly lucky you haven't shattered the screen! You know what they say though, 3rd time's the charm! lol
I, too, have gone caseless. I've got a screen protector on it, but I figure that all the corners and back panel are just a piece of cheap plastic. When it comes time to resell my phone I'll just buy a shiny new backplate for the same price as a nice case. It's worked for almost a year now.
It depends on your taste, but the Otterbox case I bought is actually pretty good protection and slim factor. Only thing is that you lose the ability to use the docks.
I've gone case-less also. Due to the slippery feel, I definitely wanted a case but there wasn't a good, grippy option that could still be used with the cardock. Surprisingly enough, I've trained myself to grip the phone carefully and its only been dropped once but with no damage (from 6 feet high). Moto builds tanks.

Attached an image to give you an idea of how much bulk it adds, hope it helps. The case feels great and offers good protection.
The kickstand, although it feels flimsy, supports the phone perfectly (at least for now).
I just got this one, Doesnt add any more bulk than a standard TPU case except for the two little hinge bumps

I got clear because I love the color of my phone but they have different colors available. It doesnt add any extra bulk as the standard S line tpu cases except what I said before the two little hinge bumps
I think this case looks phenominal imho. Nice and slim and comes with a holster clipto protect the front.

Also a fan of this one. the stand curls up like those oldschool snap on bracelets.

I have this: http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-active-kickstand-case-black-p/csk3ssgs3k-bk.htm
ive always been a fan of the active cases. this is certainly a more sturdy option, i think the build quality and fit is really good.
its probably on the thinner side of kickstand cases while still offering some good protection.
edit, technically i bought it from amazon for 5 bucks cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-ACTIVE...=1344710931&sr=8-14&keywords=galaxy+s3+seidio
I got this one from ebay. It's perfect except for the fact that top and bottom aren't completely covered.

looks to be the same one I posted above except the ebay one doesn't appear to come with the holster.
Sad, because it really is practically a perfect case with the holster.
