I know right?! I'm loving annotating stuff on the Note!
@Xevox: Yep, they're very expensive right now. Price will of course fall, but it'll be a while yet.

cheapest i could find is here : http://www.camerafarm.com.au/p/1793..._SECURE_DIGITAL/SanDisk/SDSDQY-064G-U46SA.asp

Lol nice!
Samsung said you could use only max. 32GB cards.

What file system do you use on the card?

The phone doesn't recognise the exFat one it comes with, it prompts you to format to Fat32. All details at the blog post!

this would make it pretty hard to watch most HD movies then i guess (without converting them)
some 720p ones are also above 4GB already =/

I watch them in MKV, 4GB limit is no problem at all...

If the card works, I am sure our heros of XDA would do their best to support exFAT like they did for NTFS. So should not be an issue as such as getting the card to be hardware compatible was the bigger thing. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone found a good price in the UK?

Too rich for my blood! I just put a healthy dent in the wallet ordering the Note! I don't need to spend another couple hundred on a memory card. I'll stick with 16GB Class 10 for now.

Try samsung 32 gb class 10 from ebay.

[REVIEW & VIDEO] 64GB micro SDXC cards - working in SGSII, HTC Sensation, SGSI

Although this was already confirmed by 3waygeek and Ghost77 (thanks for trailblazing this one for us guys!) prior to my replicating their results, I thought I would start a separate thread for this news, since you have to wade through pages of speculation in the existing thread before getting to the information you need.
I've already nearly filled the card, oh well... look forward to 128GB cards next year? Better start saving now...
There is lots more detail with benchmarks and so forth at AndroidNZ: Sandisk 64GB Micro SDXC cards confirmed WORKING in Galaxy S II, HTC Sensation, Galaxy S, and of course the original thread here.
once again, great video! You represent all that is good about Android Development in Australasia.

Yep, works in my Transformer too. I gave up on my Android tablet being more powerful than my phone a while ago - won't happen while the tablets are running on Tegra 2 SoC's. Bring on the Kal-el though and we'll see!
that is reallay a good one, though i don't know whatto fill it in.
Excellent stuff indeed, where can this be purchased in Europe i will look into getting one in a few months.

Only place is Sandisk US online store as far as I'm aware. If you're outside the US you'll need to use a mail forwarding company to get it to you - I used Shipito and they've been fantastic on each of the occasions I've used them.
I bought mine from JMS.. Its a small electronic goods store in the UK. They sell alot of imported stuff. They have a few ps vita's that just came in. They don't release here till November.

Buying anywhere outside of Sandisk right now runs a very high risk of receiving a fake.
This is very good to know esepcially for the earlier models but seriously, I have no need for so much storage on a mobile device.
Maybe you don't, lots do. I could use much more to be perfectly honest.

Samsung Brand 32GB Micro Class 10 any good?
there are no reviews for this card, other than the announcement on engadget.com about 5 months ago.
A lot of places online have it for about $50...
just bought it at frys.com for $50 shipped!
so far every card at price below $60, are FAKE Cards at around Class 2. You should look for a serial number or something familiar. This you can find what and where it is made from.

I'm using Samsung's 32Gb Class 10 SD card and I'm getting pretty good performance with it.
I paid around 30€ for it, thats around £25 or $40. I think it was a really good deal for 21MB/s read | 10MB/s write and 32Gb of space...

I got one a few weeks ago, 32gb class 10 as while recording at 1080p, my previous class 6 sandisk was causing slow frame rates.

Does higher the class mean better performance? speed, mtbf etc
Just asking as I've experienced problems (file name changes) when I place my sgs2 internal memory & ext-sd to my laptop HHD. It only does this sporadically on video & music files, so in some cases I have to confirm/play files, for accuracy.
Or is this my crappy old laptop playing up...

Why don't you just use Plex from Play Store and an MHL lead.
Software installs on the phone and PC, then streams to the phone. When you want to use the TV just plug it into the MHL lead, it charges this way too.

SanDisk Ultra 200GB MicroSD Card $59.99 (usually $249.99) - Amazon.com

Writes are too slow.
Curious if anyone has attempted to use this exact model card as adopted storage in MM 6.0 and how it performs. But yes, it doesn't bench very well.
Cheers,
Kermee
Gonna grab myself one of these, as they have been reported to work quite well in the Shield.
http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/stor...k-extreme-pro-usb-30-128gb-flash-drive-review
Quick feedback, marshmallow said the 200gb sd card was too slow for internal usage so to expect choppy performance. What a downer, game installs were choppy - most apps crashed waiting for response. Gonna put back my 64GB Sandisk Extreme UHS3 and use the 200gb for my SurfacePro3.
Bottomline: Do not buy this if you want to use it as Internal Storage on Marshmallow compatible devices.
I've been using one of these with my shield atv for 3 weeks now, a lot of games installed and no choppiness/lag/stutter/whatever. Download speeds for additional game content are very good and load times are fast as well. Excellent full hd/2k/4k streaming in Kodi 16 with no buffering, glitching. I haven't used Geforce Now or pc game streaming (I haven't got a Geforce card in my pc) so I can't vouch for speeds with them.
