UK folks, I asked Clove.co.uk and they said they should have them on the site this week, stock available in 3 weeks or so. Price is to be confirmed so could be way off, but they guessed £32/£42 (I assume for passive/active holders). I don't know whether that includes the clip for dash mounting or not.

Generally pro-clip mounts for attaching to the dash are vehicle specific and vary in price

yep, i'm gonna get a cardock as well
$10 shipping? Yikes. (yes I realize it's 2-day, but that's still high, IMO)
So, your $54 dock becomes $70 in a few clicks. Makes sense.
Sucks it won't fit the CDMA version

The comments at Droid-Life are saying that people over here are saying that these desk docks will accommodate the Verizon/LTE model, but I've seen nothing of the sort over here. Does anyone know?

Glad to see Google is finally starting to offer more accessory support for the GSM Nexus, hopefully they'll add the batteries and covers as well.
expansys 64 total after Illinois tax and free shipping, Play store 69 with Il tax and $10 2-day shipping. I like that Google isn't orphaning the device but I wish they'd give us more options shipping-wise, I'm willing to wait a week or more if I can avoid getting hit with a double digit shipping charge.

Because you can't buy hardware through the app, as you need to select a shipping address and the app is only set up for intangible goods. You have to go to the website to purchase hardware items.

Sprint and Verizon carry CDMA version of the Nexus. CDMA/LTE Nexus are thicker than GSM/HSPA+. Accessories are not compatible.

O2 Nexus 7 4g exclusive (UK) does it come sim locked?

Not sure if this has been asked yet, I had a quick search and couldn't find anything.
In the UK the 3g/4g is being sold exclusively from the O2 website and stores and isn't on the google play website:
http://news.o2.co.uk/?press-release...o-o2&cm_mmc=affiliate-_-47868-_-blank-_-blank
I want the 3/4G version of the tablet, but I don't intend on using an o2 Sim card in it and I am want to know if its going to be sold with a simlock enabled?
Thanks,
Mark.
Hi Mark,
I asked o2 sales via their online chat..
me: "do you know if it is sim locked to the o2 network? or does it come sim unlocked?"
o2 rep: "It will be unlocked"
I get the impression that nexus devices are always unlocked.... the Nexus 7 2012 3g was unlocked from what I understand..
Cheers

I was also under the impression that all nexus devices were meant to be unlocked but I know how phone providers get with their exclusive deals.
Just pre ordered one this morning.
Thanks
Is the LTE version going to be sold at other places after launch?
Also pre-ordered at the weekend. The device is really desirable to me, esp with the premium case thrown in. Let's hope the sales chap knows his stuff! Worst case scenario we can ring them up and say "unlock code or refund, your choice" ;0)
I get the impression it will eventaully be available from other retailers including the google play store. Assume there will be a wait whilst o2 enjoy their exclusive..

I am mainly purchasing to get a tablet with mobile data, I already have a 2012 Nexus which I am more than happy with. I just want more connectivity.
I don't know how long the o2 exclusive is going to last for, hopefully not to long I'm not really a fan of providers getting device exclusives.
as soon as it arrives im gonna stick my 3 sim in it, hopefully it is unlocked, if not I will argue very loudly
Mine got delivered today and I can confirm it is UNLOCKED
Did anyone get the promised Free Nexus 7 Case? Mine came without it. But the order status is still shows In Progress.
Mine Was missing the case to, its mentioned on the dispatch note with "quantity 0" next to it.
My original order had an estimate delivery date of 13th, so I'm hoping it will arrive tomorrow, if not I will call them and see what they say

. I have tried both 3UK and the supplied o2 sim card, all good. I had to call o2 customer services to get the 2GB free data setup as this was not working via the supplied url, I also asked about the case, no estimated delivery date on that one yet...
Initial thoughts on the tablet- really nice!!! Compact, light, super screen, super fast - quadrant score of 5367!

It is a bit unfortunate as it is not very convenient to carry N7 around without a case
After a few conversations with O2 customer service they just suggested that I should buy a case from O2 shop and they will charge back the cost to my account. Unfortunately all O2 shops around my work are so busy during lunch time (which is quite understandable given that they have only 1 or 2 shop assistants there) and theer is no shop around my house. It is so annoying. They can send it by post by I have either call them and ask to waive a fast delivery charge or wait for another few days.
I contacted customer service yesterday, I was told there is a stock shortage of cases which will be resolved on Monday next week and they will be dispatched after that

I have had three 'chats' with O2 about activating the 2GB of data, but they're claiming the tablet I pre-ordered did not come with the free data. I don't even know if it was possible to preorder the Nexus 7 through their website without the 2GB deal.
Inspired by your success, I will continue!
Got my case through the post today, its the Asus Premium Cover
Feels nice but I dont like how the front goes on the screen, if you hold the tablet screen down the front will flap around leaving the screen exposed
The main reason I want a case is to protect the screen whilst in a bag so I'm not sure how useful this case is gonna be
Also , it doesn't seem to have a magnet to put the screen in sleep mode when closed

Mine has come too. I noted that the blue cardboard box had already been opened, one of the seals was broken. I wonder whether these are returns due to the issues some people seem to have experienced with the case not fitting the WiFi version properly? I agree it's not a very brilliant case, I certainly wouldn't pay the RRP for it! If this is the 'premium' cover, I dread to think what the normal one must be like.
I shall stick to my £2.69 S-line protector...
Just pre ordered one this morning.
Chatted with the O2 CS yesterday and they told me that they are low on stock and have no idea when the case could be available for me. I wonder if I should ask them to charge back the cost and buy a case myself.

That has to be your decision! But they are correct to describe this as a 'cover' rather than a case. It's really just an opaque screen protector, though you can use it to stand the device upright when it's open...

I ordered mine from Clove on Sunday, February 16. I then got the email about the document they needed for security. I replied immediately. When I woke up on Monday, I had two emails from them saying that the order was completed and another one with the shipping information. I chose the more expensive shipping option from DHL and am able to track every single step of the transit.

I preordered two from Clove back in Jan. My items shipped on Feb 4th and received both device in one package on Feb 7th. Clove and Handtec are very high reputable companies. Ive been using Clove for over 10 years and Hantec for about 5. No issues whatsoever.
Do handtec need the same verification as clove?
Im on the ping pong game with the authorization code with citi bank and clove.
the thing is, handtec says they will not charge me until it ships, while clove already charged my account and did not shop it yet .. they still require the check.

Can't find v20 accessories on lg website???

Am I missing something?? I figured that the phone's manufacturer would have a slew of model specific accessories shown on their own website, but I am not having any luck. I figured it was due to fact I was searching pre 10/28 launch date, but nothing has changed since.
Hoped it was mobile browser error, but get same results on PC.

Welcome to the stupidity!
Yes. Spoiled by Samsung. It's as if no other phones exist besides iPhone and Samsung. Of course I had a note 2 before my v10 and that was an accessory ghost town too since everything was about the "s" series back then.
I hope they get their act together and at least get the batteries and battery charging kits up soon! Makes no sense at all. The phone has been out for a while not counting the US.
Come on LG! Take our money!

Not true, 256GB cards are available for you to buy, they have been released by samsung a few months ago, and also the battery kit is also available as a standalone, you can buy it as special offer with purchase with the phone or on it's own at a slightly higher price. some countries has released them including Hong Kong.
I'm still considering whether to buy the battery kit.
Purchased with the phone USD 30
purchased alone USD 39

This is nothing new with LG & The North American market, been like this for years & apparently, not gonna change any time soon.
You'll have to scour sites such as e-Bay/Amazon/MobileFun/LG's sites in Korea/Hong Kong.
Sometimes, some OEM accessories become available in North America at a time well past launch, but,by that time, why bother....................
This must be your first LG. They are terrible at supporting their devices with accessories.
