This looks awesome. Gonna try it out when I get home. Using aokp now, do you think it'll be possible to incorporate the aokp notification Widgets like this. I love em.

As stated above the battery percentage is not working yet. The onscreen controls are meant for other devices that have on on screen nav buttons so will be removing that soon for the Nexus S.
The MMS, is not sending, just receiving or nothing at all?
Can you or someone check the APN settings or happen to know what they should be for sprint?

Thanks man, I will be trying to fix the MMS issue now.
Do you still have ROM installed and willing to test a few things with me so I do not have the 4G model?

I just built for the 4G today, finally got around to building for it but it has been during really well with the GSM Nexus S.
Would you mind trying the MMS fix, if it works I can build it in and have a fully working copy to post.
Thanks!

Any way you could fix the on screen buttons and have it included as an optional mod? I like using them and dimming the actual buttons.

Working on that, I had to rip all the nav button crap out cause it was causing FCs with systemui when not enabled. Will be an option in a not so far future build.

Getting a seemlessly never-ending boot loop after a crash of apps organizer...
EDIT: I managed to uninstall apps organizer and the problem has stopped. All is well, except for my Games folder . Folders need more pages
EDIT 2: Nevermind it's back
EDIT 3: False alarm. I didn't properly wipe my phone, sorry. After restarting process, I've had no errors. Thanks for the great ROM !
Edit 4: Back again, discovered the issue. SetCPU seems to be causing it. So compatability issues? Has anyone else experienced this?

If you install the new beta can you please test the settings pacakge, the whole package should not crash but many of the AOSP+ Advanced Device Settings may. You should be able to get to the launcher settings from there. The others will crash because they were made for Nexus S.
Thanks!
hey how did you implement the notification widget in the notification slide down...(trying to port to a sensation rom, just the widgets not the whole rom) Thanks! That will be great and I might give a donation too.

You should have sent me a private message about that.
Are you working from source?
Actually...send me a private message please so this thread does not turn into a ROM making thread
On that note...anyone try ROM? Would like to get this working before I start on some back end work that can carry over to the devices I can build for...
Sorry if this is a noob question. New to just the gnex not to android but is this rom for GSM or LTE?
I am on big red and seem to only see GSM roms. And I don't want to Bork my first rom flash on my new toy.

Anyways, I am working on Version 2.0 for the Nexus S and would anyone be willing to help me test the Galaxy Nexus version?
If so you can hit me up on gtalk or here. Same forum name but just add gmail.com

May i ask why you never add all the languages? Maguro is international phone, i really love your rom but hope to see NL_nl added. My english isnt bad but its much easier for everyone to read in their own language. Hope you consider making it multi language

Team EOS never cease to amaze me! Awesome work guys
Xoom development is not dead. Thanks Team EOS!
I'm also submitting a legitimate bug, but I want to know if this is a just me thing - I go to set the clock to 1000/1700 lagfree, and I just can't change anything. I'll select a min freq, and it will just stay at 200. I select a max freq, and it will change it to whatever I set it to (at least it says it does). I select a governor, and it doesnt change. If I check off the set at boot option, it will show the options I just selected as the boot settings, but it doesnt actually apply them.
That said, this is one of the faster JB roms I've used, so it's not too too bad, but still. My xoom's showing it's age, especially next to my Gnex and Nexus 7.
AWESOME! Team EOS, you rock! Way to continue developing for the Xoom! Trying it out now.
Yes!!
Here are some bugs i'm experiencing on 156:
-switching to photosphere camera causes Gallery to stop
-pressing the photosphere button on a photo in the gallery causes Google Play Services to stop
-as stated by BRD previously, the stock keyboard will have problems; it has for me, crashing a lot.
if i run into any more, i'll post them here. Anyone want logcats of these issues? i can post them too
Verhaal nice to see this development going on!

ok the over clocking is working, and can be set in the setting>>EOS settings>>system..Preformace Settings. and you can verify with any thrid part cpu app that the cpu is set to what ever you choose, as for governors the settings is there but yes it stays on interactive, however if you use a thrid party app you can infact change the gov just fine.
or if you are a command line type of guy and want to see for yourself you can do
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq
or
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
to see the current gov

Great Job team. Is the lag do to hardware acceleration loss from the kernel, or just from lack of stock code?
Also is init.d scripting enabled on your Eos4?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32456437&postcount=6
First of all, I thanks for this.
One thing I noticed was the lack of an option to sync bookmarks with the stock browser. I found that there was a solution to it.
Looking forward to future updates

RULES:
Before you start using this rom here are some things you need to know:
1. I am NOT updating every day (I work 6 days a week and have a 21 month old)...
2. Don't ask for ETA, this is rude and offensive. When it is done it is done.
3. Custom Roms come without warranty. They are tested before release but something always can go bad. So if you broke your phone or you got fired because the alarm didn't go off - I am not responsible.
4. Support is limited. Sometimes I can answer your questions sometimes I don't have the time. There will be times I don't have an answer so please do no repeat your question or get offended because I haven't answered you.
5. Don't compare ROMs. It is rude and offensive for chefs. If the other rom has what you need, use that ROM.
6. Don't Kang my work. You may fool everyone else but I will know! If you want to use something just ask!
7. If you like my work, a five star thread rating and hitting the thanks button motivates me.
8. No flaming! We have all been a NoOb before. We are here to help each other.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
By using the rom you agree with the above terms!

First off I want to thank the guys over at AOKP for all their hard work and dedication to open source and bring us the bleeding edge of technically. Not much I can really say about this one. This is built right from AOKP MR1 (4.2.2) source for the d2tmo. This is a "kang" project, meaning it is unofficial and will have a lot more of my input versus the official builds. Enjoy and if you would like to help me contribute let me know!
All future nighties will be made and hosted by @Midnight_Rider - Link to his thread
- Source can be found here: https://github.com/aokp
- Also want to make a donation to the AOKP developers, head over to http://aokp.co/ and donate to these guys because they are awesome! Also check out their main page for more information.
- For a change log, see here Merged Status. Cherry picks will be noted in a log that I will add later.

KINETIC AOKP KERNEL™
This kernel will work for AOKP/AOSP/CM10.1 basically for all new 4.2 AOSP based ROMs.
Also just a warning. LTS1 - LTS2 is not compatible with Kinetic AOKP Kernel. Only builds equal to or newer then April 30th are compatible.

Great widget to control fast charge Fast charge widget ply store link
Also another must have app! Full control over your phone and kernel for free! Trickster Mod Kernel settings
What is fast charge:
This allows one to force AC charging for any charger that is detected as USB (e.g. many car chargers) and pull the full current the charger can support. Without Fast charge, when connected to the computer or even car charger you will very low current causing the charge time to be a lot longer. With fast charge active the current is set to the max allowed (and/or safest) and charging time will reduce greatly. It also provides additional security when connecting to public charging stations because by forcing AC charging, USB/adb data transfers are disabled, protecting your data. When fast charge is active you will not be able to access your data on your device. You will need to turn fast charge off to access them. Hope this helps everyone understand it more.
How to install:
Flash the kernel
Clear cache and dalvik cache.
Reboot

CM 10.1 and AOKP for every d2 device has an issue with a2dp. If we're lucky a song will play through for about 1 to 2 minutes before it starts crackling and cutting out. Currently awaiting a patch from CAF that fixes it. There are a couple patches out there that gets a2dp working again but that's done by reverting back from qcom/audio-caf
Keep up the work though man... push some good commits to gerrit
(I've got my nightly builds over in the T-Mobile S III Original Development Thread)
