RULES:
Before you start using this rom here are some things you need to know:
1. I am NOT updating every day (I work 6 days a week and have a 21 month old)...
2. Don't ask for ETA, this is rude and offensive. When it is done it is done.
3. Custom Roms come without warranty. They are tested before release but something always can go bad. So if you broke your phone or you got fired because the alarm didn't go off - I am not responsible.
4. Support is limited. Sometimes I can answer your questions sometimes I don't have the time. There will be times I don't have an answer so please do no repeat your question or get offended because I haven't answered you.
5. Don't compare ROMs. It is rude and offensive for chefs. If the other rom has what you need, use that ROM.
6. Don't Kang my work. You may fool everyone else but I will know! If you want to use something just ask!
7. If you like my work, a five star thread rating and hitting the thanks button motivates me.
8. No flaming! We have all been a NoOb before. We are here to help each other.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
By using the rom you agree with the above terms!

First off I want to thank the guys over at AOKP for all their hard work and dedication to open source and bring us the bleeding edge of technically. Not much I can really say about this one. This is built right from AOKP MR1 (4.2.2) source for the d2tmo. This is a "kang" project, meaning it is unofficial and will have a lot more of my input versus the official builds. Enjoy and if you would like to help me contribute let me know!
All future nighties will be made and hosted by @Midnight_Rider - Link to his thread
- Source can be found here: https://github.com/aokp
- Also want to make a donation to the AOKP developers, head over to http://aokp.co/ and donate to these guys because they are awesome! Also check out their main page for more information.

KINETIC AOKP KERNEL™
This kernel will work for AOKP/AOSP/CM10.1 basically for all new 4.2 AOSP based ROMs.
Also just a warning. LTS1 - LTS2 is not compatible with Kinetic AOKP Kernel. Only builds equal to or newer then April 30th are compatible.

Great widget to control fast charge Fast charge widget ply store link
Also another must have app! Full control over your phone and kernel for free! Trickster Mod Kernel settings
What is fast charge:
This allows one to force AC charging for any charger that is detected as USB (e.g. many car chargers) and pull the full current the charger can support. Without Fast charge, when connected to the computer or even car charger you will very low current causing the charge time to be a lot longer. With fast charge active the current is set to the max allowed (and/or safest) and charging time will reduce greatly. It also provides additional security when connecting to public charging stations because by forcing AC charging, USB/adb data transfers are disabled, protecting your data. When fast charge is active you will not be able to access your data on your device. You will need to turn fast charge off to access them. Hope this helps everyone understand it more.
How to install:
Flash the kernel
Clear cache and dalvik cache.

CM 10.1 and AOKP for every d2 device has an issue with a2dp. If we're lucky a song will play through for about 1 to 2 minutes before it starts crackling and cutting out. Currently awaiting a patch from CAF that fixes it. There are a couple patches out there that gets a2dp working again but that's done by reverting back from qcom/audio-caf
Keep up the work though man... push some good commits to gerrit
(I've got my nightly builds over in the T-Mobile S III Original Development Thread)

No,its definitely ROM bug. With 320dpi it works fine with default and custom theme too. With 240dpi both with bug.Its the same bug as in XenonHD ROM (they have same function for dpi change). For example SlimBean has not this bug when set 240dpi.

Ok I get what you mean.
The thing is that your device is natively set to support 320DPI.
Its another thing that developers like to play around and provide options to set different DPIs. We have too.
But support for DPIs other than the native cant be provided.
is there an option on this ROM to change just the navbar dpi size only like on xenon and cna?

I don't think so Mopar. Once volume gets half way it doesn't get louder. . Can't wait until this issue gets fixed. Its a big problem for me as I love loud music. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed in the near future once ota is released.

I am going to have to try this out.
I'm having an issue with shortcuts rearranging themselves in the dock. Anyone else? I've also received a few install errors from the market. Something to the effect that adv application is not available for my device. It's that because I'm running in tablet mode?
Other than that....AWESOME :thumbup::thumbup:

So far I haven't run into any major issues. Been running for a few hours now. The only bug I've experienced was the same in the last build. The status bar color change doesn't stick after a reboot. Obviously this is not a big deal since one my device is setup, it is rebooted about once a day. Thanks for bringing this build back to life.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, and either way is fine but is this any different from the last KBizzle build, or is it the same thing, just ported into snipers name and with it's own thread? I don't really expect him to have updated it so quickly after picking it up, I just want to know if there is any reason to update.
Also, SO glad someone picked this up, I was worried for a little while. Good luck sniper.

If only it was 3.. there's 4 or 5 (5 if we include an old JellyBam thread). Stop it.
Also the ROM isn't stable for daily use, wifi still needs frequent rebootin' for it to be workin'.

the first official one got closed the owner of it is me but with a different account and the same IP so the account elmaghraby1995 disabled
the second unofficial one was an unofficial patch to fix wifi and mobile data
the third which is this thread was a renewed official one

WRONG. the second one is official since its those patches that is used for wifi as of 6.4.0, its not unofficial until i release my abrevation of 6.4.0 wich has everything working as soon as i get the ril to hook with pgps and socket tagging. please do not hijack other ppls patches as your own and do not make yourself a team of JellyBam. at least i write my own code for the patches and not ctrl+c ctrl+v. why is this third thread neccesary at all?
Keep up the good work.

I must say that I don't understand this argument about all these versions of the "same" ROM.
Why not working together around the same project?
Hope you all will be able to do that.

ofc i could if it wasnt for him stealing my work and then "ME I made the thread and patches" the patches lead back to the CRC and MD5 of the files i made and those are in use in 6.4.0 now, if he hadnt stolen my patches id been fine with it, but im sending my patches continuosly to iGio90 and i dont want to be affiliated with this individual as he has stolen my work that i made for the community so they could enjoy a good rom, not to be stolen and discredited from, this guy has already been banned once also, and he doesnt explain much of anything, i highly doubt that he has a single idea of what he is doing, have a great one
Oh,
I see......
Then, if what you say is true, He will be "behind you" all the time.
Think all xda's members won't be dupe for a long time.
Keep the good work, this ROM gonna be perfect after some fixings...
See you

For now. most irritating bug is :
Home frequently get kill if you navigate to other app then press home button, need to reload (yup, i already tick on aokp setting to keep memory in launcher and prevent system from killing it)
Lux brightness control ' link ' repeatedly reload, make screen brighter and dark every second - this sometime happen if you set priority too low via in app setting.
Android OS eat battery like a boss, 3 hours.. yay! :silly:
Well about the launcher it was happening to me but with nova launcher the problem gone

If I can get a significantly larger income of 8$ USD a month, that could open up opportunities for dedicated servers, or improvements throughout the site including things like: Better download speeds, more FTP users, etc.

Enjoy!
Better version is coming later to make this a bit smoother and because I don't own the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, I don't know how does this ROM work on Toro. At least everything should work!

Just tried this. I was unable to get it to boot. I saw the kernel splash screen and then the screen went blank. I pulled the battery after about 5 minutes.

Hmmm. Weird. Did you flash another kernel?
My PC is compiling the next version. Next version must work.
I didn't flash a different kernel. Just this ROM and gapps.

OK then it must be caused by my notebook. Wi-Fi doesn't work so well on my notebook when I use Ubuntu on it. So maybe my ROM wasn't uploaded successfully. I have added all the required files to build this ROM for toro.
It's 5 Am here so I let my notebook finish ROM compiling..

I started a fresh build and 2 hours left until this ROM is built.
I double checked the files and everything is right so I don't know why it won't boot. Maybe .zp package was corrupted or I don't know..
