[Q] MTP device use w/ root

My ****ty car stereo won't recognize my phone with it rooted. When it's on stock and it uses the "MTP" for data transfer it will work. Are there any flashable zips that will change it back to MTP and still keep my rooted ROM?
Go to Settings -> Applications -> Debugging -> Disable USB debugging.
Wording may be a bit off, but that is from memory. When you turn on USB debugging, it disables MTP.
Thanks dude. I'll give it a try

How to enable USB tethering?

I have a Nexus 7 (2013) wifi model, running the latest version of Android. I noticed that the option for USB tethering no longer appears in the settings menu. I've tried to reenable this but am at my wit's end and need help!
I enabled develop options, USB debugging, and under "select USB configuration" selected RNDIS (USB Ethernet). I've also downloaded the latest Google USB driver from the Android developers website. I still cannot get the internet to pass through to my laptop. I'm trying to tether to a Windows 7 laptop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

USB Debugging and its relationship to "Use USB to" options

Wonder if it is only my reme! Unlocked boot-loader. Ver: RMX2081_11_A_41. Not checked on 33 or39.
1. Enable USB Debugging - connect to PC - Select usb connection only for charging device - Debug option goes off.
2. Enable USB Debugging - connect to PC - Select usb connection for "transfer files" - Debug option stays on.
3. Connect to PC with USB debugging on and select "transfer files" - pull down QS and tap to select usb connect is only for charging - Debugging forced off in dev options settings.
Is it something implemented in Android 10? Never had a device with stock Q ROM. Used only custom Q ROMs on earlier devices and not exposed to this implementation if it is so! Did not want to upload a screen record of the same as it is about ~11 MB.
Can someone please throw some light on this and how USB debugging option has to be tied to USB connect choices - if it happens on anyone's device? And thanks in advance.
I have read this - https://www.realme.com/in/support/kw/doc/FAQ1114 though it is an older one but still not able to figure out the relationship when USB transfer files can exist without dev options but not the other way around.

Enable USB debugging from PC

Hi, I broke my phone (Xiaomi Mi 9 se) screen, and I want to transfer photos but I cant do it because usb debugging is disabled. It is possible to enabled it from PC?
No bro, but if your device support OTG, you can try using Scrcpy-win64 to cast your device's screen to PC, then plugin the OTG mouse, use it to enable USB Debugging. That's the only solution due to my experience until now!
