If you are talking about the page buddy feature (the special home screen you used to get) then it has been disabled in 4.2.2, you should get some icons in the notification , but that home screen is surely gone.

TouchWiz features

Hey guys,
I've seen a lot demo videos on sense UI and the vanilla android UI.
they've got nice features, like the twitter widget and the mac os like pinch-zoom on the homescreen @ sense UI.
Or the vanilla lockscreens with the ability to mute the phone without unlocking.
so how about a TouchWiz featurelist, here in this topic, where we summon all the features we discover.
Already known features:
unused homescreens can be deleted
apps can be shown in list-view and "iphone"-view
- Wifi, silent, vibration and bluetooth toggles in the notification area
- Uninstall applications just by tapping them on "edit mode"
- Docked icons on the homescreen
- A swipe to the right on a name in the phonebook will call the contact
- A swipe to the left on a name in the phonebook will start the new message interface
-Hold BACK and pres HOME key to make a screenshot

Hey, I've just watched the Touch Wiz 3.0 demo
youtube.com/watch?v=qRM5bf35yqs&feature=related
and at 17 secs into the vid it states that you can toggle between widget and application menu by swiping the screen up and down.? can anybody confirm this?
And it also states that Touch Wiz has a smart task manager, can that also be confirmed? (1.06min into the vid)
Thx alot!

- You can add your contacts to the home screen
(something i would actually do considering you have 7pages to fill and talk more to some ppl that others)

yes it can be configured ... you do not need to have empty ones if you don't wish to

Someone said that on hardware zone SG forum.

nice seeing you here (apart from the forums.samsungi8910etc galaxy S discussion topic) ...
- In the video I posted above it lets you rotate Home screen which automatically shows all your windows and you can reorganize them and delete/add them. . . pretty cool

Owners:
The calendar included with TouchWiz syncs with Google calendar or with Yahoo?
The video from Las Vegas presentation shows some Yahoo services, but I suppose it's also available for Google.
The screenshot feature stated in the beginning doesn't seem to work.

Lockscreen Clock hide/remove? (CM10)

is there a way to remove the Clock from the lockscreen? on Jelly bean (CM10)?
I found a few old thread about it, but nothing seen to work. WidgetLocker crash a lot and i couldn't find the way to actually hide the clock.
I installed Wp clock 2, and I love it, but the stock clock is on the way on the lockscreen.
Thanks
Nope, I don't believe so. Maybe suggest they include it in future builds?

Doesn't work. If it was that simple I wouldn't have scouted the web today for 6 hours trying to find a solution...

S3? Which ROM?
Any AOSP 4.2.2 that has lock screen widgets enabled (CM10.1 does in fact meet this criteria) has the ability to remove the clock from the lock screen. You simply lock the phone, get to the lock screen and press and hold on the clock until you can move the screen around. Move it to the top of the screen to destroy it. You should now have a blank lock screen page with no widgets (in this case your clock).

Tried. What happened was that my phone rebooted and the stock clock was back. Every time.

ultra noob question

Hey guys just got an internation note 2. loving it so far!!
My favorite thing was this little grey half circle on the right edge of the phone. When you click it it gives you several quick shortcuts to common apps. Now it is missing though? Where did it go and how do I reactivate it, also what is it? Is it a samsung thing or just an android 4.1 feature. Any help in understanding this new feature would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

It is multiview option ( to open 2 apps at the same time). It is activated by pressing the back button for 2-3 seconds. You can drag 2 apps from the sidebar to the screen and have 2 running apps then.
It's the multiscreen dooda. Hold back arrow to make it come and go.
You can drag any of the shown apps to the top or bottom screen along with the another from the list. Maps and email at the same time for example.

Home screen disappears

The top half of my home screen disappears this morning without any known reason. That is the digital clock/date and whether on the top half screen. How can I restore it? Thanks!
Stock? Custom? Tweaks/mods?
Just like calling your dr and expecting him to fix you when all you say is "my finger hurts"....

New toAndroid? .....You mean.... No weather widget? .... long press home screen. .select widget. ..select weather widget
You can also select widgets to add to screen by going into your apps. ..there is a widgets tab on top. ..tap it to see the available widgets
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)

I did not know the widget is named weather widget as this is a factory default widget that I found it useful since I purchased the phone from day one. Thanks for your guidance and I know my phone in greater depth. I now resume it to my home screen successfully. Thanks for taking my silly question.

Halo is the best feature for now in my opinion see this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vlrgCteDac
If you dont like it just double tap on it and take it to the top of screen to delete it like any widget
