S5660V Optus - Best baseband?

Hi, I have a Galaxy Gio GT-S5660V from Optus Australia. currently running the S5660MUGKG3 baseband. I occasionally have issues with bluetooth refusing to turn on, wifi not turning on and then rebooting my phone, etc. I've downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile "S5660VXXKQK_S5660VOPPKQ2_OPP". Should I flash this baseband to my Gio? I'm running GalaxyICS CM9 RC1 from Maclaw. Any other Aussie Gio users? Which baseband do you recommend? Thanks in advance.
Im not sure what baseband does but i know its according to region and the one you have right now is the one that came preinstalled on my gio, the Canadian one, so it might cause trouble for Australia idk

Yes, I installed the Canadian Bell ROM and baseband in order to unlock my phone. Baseband sits under the ROM and controls the hardware interface. There are a few basebands out there for S5660, S5660M and S5660V, but I can't find any information on which is the latest, changes, or which is better for stock/CM ROMs, etc.
Use the latest wich is specific for your V model, otherwise you will get problems..

[Q] My International Note II (N7100) has issue with screen standby

Hello,
I have a problem with my Galaxy Note II: often the screen never goes to standby, but it's still on. I activated the "standby smart" option, but the issue is present with the option disactivated too...
This problem does not always present, sometimes if I reboot the device standby works normally.
I am using the latest firmware available for my device: N7100XXALJ1.
You think is it a hardware or software problem?
you must upgrade your firmware. try xxlj3 which I'm using now. I'm also came from xxlj1

There isn't ALJ3 firmware for my ITV (Italian) phone. The latest is ALJ1, I found ALJ3 stock firmware on sammobile.com for UK and German device only...
It's better to wait for officiali Italian ALJ3 (or newer) or to flash the German firmware?

Firmware?

Hello, I live in Greece and i have a Galaxy Note II N7100 but i have the XXALJ3 firmware in it. I cannot install tweaks like multi window tweak in it cause they are not designed for this firmware. What can i do?
what is the version 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 and i heard the multi tasking is not supported by some carriers...
For Greece still only 4.1.1.
Download the latest France firmware and flash it via Odin.

I am asking about the risks of flashing INU (INDIAN) firmware on my UAE vrsn. of note 2.
Well if your warranty has ended there is no issue. But even if your warranty is remaining you can download Knox free 4.3 firmware from dev section and flash it via Odin.In this case,if you face any issue further on you can safely downgrade to the older firmware.

[Q] Stock ROM help.

Hey guys,
I have been familiar with stock ROMs and other stock stuff but now I want to flash a stock 4.3 for testing, my question is, I have bought the note 2 when I was in United Arab Emirates, and now I'm in the United Kingdom running [Three] carrier, which stock ROM should I flash, the United Arab Emirates one or the UK one (which I didn't find)?
I would really use some help.
With regards,

wich you want. you can change later without any problem
What if you just update OTA? Mine updated to 4.3 last month...
But in other way you can flash an european rom with no problem, as long as you match the rom with your phone!
Try to flash an european ROM without carrier.
