Belkin - MultiTasker Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Accessories

So I needed a case for my tablet as I was going out on a trip. Amazon didnt have the case I wanted and I was left with no choice but to head to the nearest Best Buy and grab whatever they have. I saw the official Samsung case but at $79.99 its way over priced in my opinion.
I was actually looking for something cheap but this was the only one they had in stock. It costs $49.99 (still a bit expensive for me) but got a quality case that matches the looks of my white tablet.
Its a black leather case that doesnt feel cheap. I find that it gives a more professional look than other cases found in Amazon.

It doesnt have a magnetic cover, so it uses an elastic strap to hold the cover when closed. I thought that this will be annoying at first, but found that it actually works well.
Also take note of the exact cut hole for the camera and flash, and for the spen.
There is soft suede like material inside to protect the screen. It also has 2 slots for business cards or small notes. You can also see a cut out for the charger so you can charge the tablet when the cover is closed.
The tablet is held securely by soft suede grips on all 4 corners. They are an exact fit and does not let the tablet wiggle or move around.
The case also acts as a stand and you can vary the viewing angle to your preference. Notice that the speakers, headphone jack and microsd card slot are free from obstructions.
The power and volume buttons as well as the IR blaster are unobstructed.
There's even a pen holder located on the top if you have an extra stylus.
Lastly, the case can be used as an inverted stand to allow the use of the microUSB port for charging or usb otg.
In summary, it is a decent case that offers good protection without giving a cheap feel. I still find it a bit expensive but it gives of a professional look that I dont mind bringing it everywhere with me especially at work.

Does it obstruct the charging port? I'd like to be able to charge it while using it as a stand.

Yes it will get obstructed if being used as a stand in landscape mode. I find that this is a design flaw with Samsung as the charging port will be blocked no matter what case you are using. I wish they put the charging port to the side. This also makes it difficult for me to attach a USB otg cable for use with my ps3 controller when playing games as most games are in landscape mode.
Edit: op updated. The case can be used as an inverted stand

This looks similar to Belkin case for original 10.1, I had it for over a year, great case.
For charging turn tablet 180 degrees, upside down, in the case, and you can change whole standing.

You are correct. There is a way for the case to act as an inverted stand. Really wish the box came with drawings lol. Will add this to my op.

It absolutely adds substantial heft and thickness.
It is a nice case and it looks pretty good, but the tradeoff is not worth it. It makes the using the tablet a chore...at least it did for me.
I bit the bullet and got the Samsung book cover...IMO it looks better and it add very little heft. Not a perfect case, but I would definitely say it is worth $30 more than the Belkin.

It adds a a little bit of thickness but it doesnt get in the way of useability and portability. I actually now bring my tablet almost everywhere I go.

Yes the Samsung book cover is nice although its out of my budget range. And Best Buy didnt have the white one so I didnt feel like spending $80 on a case that doest match the colour of my tablet. If they had one in white then I might have walked away with that case.

Good point. After using the Samsung case for the past few days, I'm having my doubts about whether this is going to be a case I can stick with.

[Mini-review] Seidio Active Case for Kindle Fire

Just got my Seidio Active case to replace my cheapie carbon fiber case that I got for 9 bux. The Seidio active case is exactly like the Active case I have for my phone. Well built and great color.
The case is pretty self explanatory if you have an existing active case. You slip on the rubber polymer case and align the openings and then slip on the (in my case) red 'exo-skeleton' case. This part I can forsee taking the corner bumps very well lol.
Pro's:
Awesome looking. Gives a bit more bulk than naked KF, but I like it. Reminds me of a tuffbook lol. The case has a cover that has a dual purpose. A stand and an optional cover to the case. Great for travel! The color is just cool lol.
Another great thing is that the usb port is just clear enough to plug in your micro usb plug. I haven't tried headphones yet though. The speaker grills line up perfectly as well. And for the cover/stand, you can go either landscape OR portrait mode on a whim. You just pick it up and rotate it. No worrying about extra joints, wobbly mounts, etc. It's just a tab that extends out to prop your KF and works wonderfully in any mode. Being that my comp at work and my out let are on the opposite sides of my desk, this works for me.
Con's:
The only con for me is that the power button is completely covered up. We all know that it's a good thing to see if the KF is powered up or plugged in correctly or if we pressed the button on time to access the recovery, but being that it's covered up, my OCD-ness NEEDS to know if I pressed it correctly lol.
Anyways here are the pics....

I wouldn't ditch a case you like and happy with for just a new case. I bought this actually because the guy on ebay accepted my offer lol. I was intending to get the microshell Marware case but because the offer was accepted, I was stuck with it lol.
I mean I don't regret getting this. I adore Seidio quality. I use my active case when I travel on my phone so that means it's a must have/use when traveling on airplanes, trains, long roadtrips, etc. .
I do recommend it if they are on the fence. Totally worth the 35 shipped I paid. In line with my cost for the active case for my phone lol.
I like the look a lot. I wish it was somehow one piece though rather than two separate pieces.

I thought that as well initially. Having had a gtablet not too long ago with a good case that was attached.
But it became obvious why they opted not to. I mean you can put the kf in any way you want, depending on where your plug is. Perfect example is Flipboard. The app only shows in portrait mode and if I want to read it, I don't have to dismantle the darn thing to do so or use some sort of rubic's cube trickery to get it to the way I want. Just pick it up and rotate the sucker. Just perfect and simple IMO.
And being that it is two separate pieces, the cover is totally optional and not required.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this case. My only real concern was that the blue finish on the corners of the case would start to come off after a while of snapping it in and out of the cover/stand. As you can see in the pic it is not happening at all. I like it so much that I'm getting one of these for my Galaxy Nexus.

Case with Kickstand Recommendations?

As someone who used the kickstand on my Evo OG a lot, I must have a case that includes a kickstand. Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I have used Seidio car mounts in the past, and they were very high quality and durable, but a bit on the heavy side (trade-off for durable I guess).
Anyway, I see two cases I'm interested in.

Oh man, I am so used to ordering everything from Amazon (or others) that I didn't even consider going to a store to get a case. I guess I was thinking that since the stores don't have the phones yet, they wouldn't have the accessories. Stupid thought process on my part. I'll have to go to a local store and see if I can find the case-mate.

How is it bulky? Its like 2 inches long and one inch wide. And doesn't add much thickness to the phone at all. When your fingers are in it, you won't worry about dropping it at all. I can easily reach all 4 corners of my screen with this baby. watch Qbkings review of it

I had it on my epic touch for a few weeks (before I quickly got rid of it) and it never felt like it was getting loose. It uses the 3m double sided tape, the same tape on the wall hooks that 3m makes that are rated to hold 5 lbs.
Another thing I like is that it lifts the phone speaker of the surface more so it doesn't dampen the ringer. That is partially annoying cause it doesn't lay flat on a surface if your using your phone laying down, but isn't a huge deal.

Guys, looking for something below with kickstand. I see some good options in this thread but they all make the phone pretty thick.
So far, I have been using
for my captivate

What case are you using?

I currently own the oem folio case, and I have a CaseCrown Bold Standby Case on it's way.
I love buying cases for my devices, what case are you using and why do you like it?
Currently using the awful Motorola folio case but I just ordered this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Folio-Leath...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item4ab85b8c18 but for 10 bucks and not 11½$ as state in the link from another user, hope it's better than motos folio case
I'm using the charcoal grey Zoogue case.....I like it because its comfortable to hold vertical or horizontal, the horizontal kickstand is completely adjustable and subsequently sturdy in any position, and vertically there's a strap for comfortable gripping, and lastly it looks sleek.

I use this one, looks like you are reading/carrying an old book. It has a few turn-able pages to add to the deception. If you left it visible in your car, no one would know the wiser, you can keep it on your bookshelf.... It's not cheap, but well worth it in the long run. This is more for transporting the device, not for practicality. Great during boring meetings, work or school!

Looking for a good kick stand case

I am looking for a good kick stand case for my M7. I had this Aduro case for my Galaxy S3 and loved it because it was thin and came with a holster. I emailed Aduro and asked them if they were making on for the M7 and they did not reply. Has anyone else found one? I would think with my speakers on front there would be plenty of these but I haven't found one!

Seidio makes one. I have one and I think it's pretty nice. It looks good and the kickstand is pretty sturdy. The only downside is removing it. At first it seems impossible to do so, but you just gotta get used to gripping the bottom to pull the top off.
Thank you for your message very look forward to your update again

Speck makes a TPU kickstand case that can be used in both portrait and landscape. Its nice but was a little too thick for my liking though. So far, the best one I have found is the Seidio Surface w/kickstand. Its really thin and feels good in the hand. The only downside is that the kickstand is not flush with the body of the case so it creates a noticeable hump on the back of the case. There are also a bunch of those S-line TPU cases with kickstands going for pretty cheap on ebay. Sounds like you may want something a little more high quality though in which case I recommend the Seido or if you don't mind the extra bulk, the Speck case.
The one from HTC looks good but it's not out yet

So finally got it and it's a decent cheap case that was under $10. It seems to fit a tiny bit loose on the top and bottom and I seem to have a slight rise at the bottom of the hard plastic cover right below the bottom of the kickstand but it's not that bad and hardly noticeable. The power button is covered by the silicone but I tested it and my remote stills works perfect through it which surprised me. Thought I was going to have to cut a hole out. The power and volume buttons are slightly raised and make them easier to use. The charge port is cut perfectly for the charger cable to fit. The edge lip around the screen is high enough to protect the screen when laying flat.
And I don't know if it's just been because I've hardy put the phone down since I got it or the phone is a little too thin or long but my hand had been cramping. Didn't have that problem with the evo. I figured I just had to get use to it. I think though that maybe the one was too thin and adding some thickness feels a little better in the hand. Wonder if other people have dealt with this issue. Anyway here are some pics.

I have it and it's the only case I have for the One. I LOVE it. Perfect size cut outs for the power button, headphone port and usb port. Great protection and the volume buttons are easier to press blindly. The one thing that would make it better is if the stand could be used in portrait mode as well.

Car Mount

Anyone got a good car mount go the OGP? Thinkg of going with the iBolt but worried about it hitting the on./off and vol buttons
Our landscape home screen will flip either way. If that helps any.
I'm using a smart gear car mount ($15 at Micro Center) that has been working very well. I have a case on my phone that protects the buttons a bit so I haven't had any issues with it. I haven't tried it without the case on but I think it would be ok without, just probably would squeeze it quite as tight on the phone as I do with the case on.

I have that. It's pretty ridiculous. Every few weeks I pull it off the mount (which is easy) and wash it under warm or hot water. Sticky as new again.
Do not use that with a naked phone, It will pull the back cover off LOL!
If you have a slot-loading cd slot on your car stereo, you can use this.

I've been using it for about two years, bought it for my original Galaxy Note and fits the LG OGP as well. It won't damage the slot and it doesn't jerk around or bounce with the car's movements.

seems pretty good

This will hold onto the OGP with a Zerolemon and supplied case.
I really dig it.
I have never had a phone fall off this yet.

Think it'll hold up to some minor off-roading?

I work at officemax and this mount was on sale for around $10 on black friday last year, so I got it. Great mount. Holds the G Pro very securely, and very easy to adjust, too.

I just got the vent mount version of that holder and it works surprisingly well with the OG Pro. I thought it would be loose, but it did a great job on a road trip.
As far as Off Roading, I drive a Subaru Baja.... So I have no idea LMAO!
I got the iBolt xProDock (the generic one) and the thing is great, not interfering with the buttons at all, and it's rock solid. I do use it with a TPU case, rather than bare, mind you.

I also got one of those universal clip-style mounts (not the dock style ones). It's actually pretty good too, though there's no real way to fix a charging cable to it without it looking strange. Also, with my windshield's angle, I had to adjust the thing to the stops at both ends for the OGP to be angled properly. It would probably work better on a more vertical windshield.

I bought the one for the F240 from overseas off ebay, it is a direct snap in fit.
Hopefully I'll get it soon.

I ordered one of those, it's to big. Seems like it was designed for the Galaxy Note 2 and someone repurposed it.

Well, they will get red, lol, at least it was only $5

Anyone considering Nokia's universal wireless charging cradle CR-200 http://www.nokia.com/global/products/accessory/cr-200/
Seems like it will fit our LGPro but not sure if the 0.750A will be sufficient to keep the charge while running navigation... Any thoughts?

I still have my RAM mount when I had a Nexus 7. This thing was solid and they also make universal mounts for phones. You have to purchase the base to connect to your car though. I had one that mounts to the base of the passenger side seat. This was set up for a tablet though. Nexus 7's make awesome GPS There's lots of different choices you can mix and match parts to make a custom mount as long as they're compatible with each other.

I went old school.............
Low gauge sheet metal, check!
Sheet Metal Bender, check!
Industrial grade velcro, check!
I cut a 2" wide by 5" long piece of sheet metal and I bent it 90 degrees, took three screws and screwed the angle sleeve into the dash.
Applied 1 side of the velcro to the angle sleeve, over the top, so the the velcro doesn't want to peel off the sleeve.
Applied the other side of the velcro to the back of the phone and it's done.
I wrap the usb cord around the bottom of the sleeve below the phone. My phone doesn't move, and it's very usable
