Hey, mate. Let me tell you my trick to solve this issue.
Facebook apps need a lot of resource, both Processor and RAM. Since the app will render image, JavaScript, and HTML 5. Our device is low-end-device which is having bad Processor and Memory (RAM). To solve this issue, we need to give a lot of free space of RAM and Processor.
NOTE: We can't do much things to solve the App, but we can manage Processor and Memory consumption
I usually using greenify at this point.
Skip * steps if you're using greenify free version
1. Install Greenify(Free version is OK though)
2. Install SuperSU. I recommend this app if you having issue the apps are not hibernated automatically when the device is entering sleep mode.
* 3. Install Xposed Installer
4. (skip this step if you already have superSU) Open SuperSU, then update SU binary through CWM - the phone will reboot to recovery and updating SU binary automatically
* 5. Open Xposed Installer - Choose Framework - Choose Install / Update
* 6. Reboot
* 7. Open Xposed Installer - Choose Modules - Check Greenify
* 8. Reboot
9. Open Greenify - Tap on + Icon
10. Choose any apps you want to hibernate
* TIPS *
- If you using Hangouts with SMS / MMS feature, don't greenify this app. Otherwise, you won't get any notification when new SMS is arrived.
- Don't greenify (hibernate) Instant Messaging like WhatsApp, LINE, etc. BBM using a lot of RAM, you can greenify this app to get rid of lag.
11. When you're done with those apps, tap option button (Letf soft key from "HOME" hard key) - Still in greenify
12. Choose Experimental features
13. Check boost mode
14. Check Keep Notifications
15. Check Wake-up Tracker & Cutoff
16. Check Block App State Abuse
Don't wory with dark options, those option are only available on Donation Package. That's it, and you are done.
NB:
- I don't care if I can't receive notification from Facebook immediately. I'd rather keep my phone cold, calm, and my battery is save.
- If you like Greenify App, Please Buy Donation Package on Google Play
You don´t need Xposed if you are just using the free version of Greenify.
You only need it when you are willing to use the paid donation version to greenify system apps too. So you tutorial is either not complete or you skipped this information for some reason.

But this is not the fault of Greenify but because FB is so bloated. Personally this is a must have app and if you ask me it should be part of each Android ROM or at least something simmilar build in.

Thank you! Very helpful.
This is a great thread! Thanks for posting this. I needed some answers about this too..
In kitkat 4.4 , when you install xposed framework, the runtime changing won't work.
If you remove it, it works. So those those who change runtimes can forget Xposed Framework.

Hello,
I'm using baliboxer's GENNXT ROM (Build num: XUBMHD, Baseband Version XUBMF2) in my GT-I9082
I've just installed very minimum user apps( 651 MB out of 4GB intrenal memory, this includes GAPPS too) and i've not installed a single game.
I'm using ROM ToolBox Pro to define the apps that has to be run on the background( which,i believe,is similar to using 'Greenify')
But my device eats up too much RAM to the extent that i do not even find 100MB of free RAM space out of 804MB.
This makes my device too laggy and i cant navigate gallery and camera app (though no FC in any of the app).
I'm a complete noob, so plz guide me to make my device better.
Waiting for ur suggestions guys!!!

Firstly, you can and you should "Turn off"/disable, if not uninstall, any app like SVoice, Samsung Apps, Google+ etc that you don't use (please dont remove the apps without icons/names like com.Something, that you don't know what it does), even if they came preinstalled with the ROM. You can do this by going to Settings>Applications>swipe to the right till you are on All Applications, just scroll through here and disable them if you dont need them. This will let them be in your system without letting them start up at all by any app until you enable it.
Secondly, ROM ToolBox is NOT similar to Greenify. ROM Toolbox is a heavy app with a LOT of triggers that can make itself run all the time in your phone. ROM Toolbox does offer you to select permission alteration for each app, but it doesn't actually stop them after they are executed already, which is why I avoid installing ROM Toolbox now, but that's just my opinion.
This is something Greenify beautifuly covers. You can select all apps, (excluding the one you use to keep you updated like Phone, messaging, whatsapp, googleplay etc). They will have smooth unaltered functionality when you open them but they will not run in the background (which is the main reason for your RAM usage). And best of all, Greenify only uses 3.7~4Mb RAM to keep your apps in check with no triggers except to start a process on boot.
You can use several memory cleaners but honestly you won't need them if you do both the above things right.
if you still need more, you can check out my thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2476926

DebloatEx v1.4
For me, every additional app which i don't use is too much. Why should an app be installed, if i don't use it? So i wrote a little debloater script, which i can flash over every rom i install. Also i added some extras which i need for my daily use.
Information:
First: This is NOT a full rom. It's a script to flash over a rom. The script uses a aroma installer. Every app can be selected manually for removal. Also the apps are not removed entirely. The are moved to a backup folder. So they can be easily restored if an app, which was removed, is missing after the flash. Additionally you can choose if you want to remove the gallery images, ringtones and notifications ringtones.
Because you can remove the lg launcher and/or the lg sms app, i decided to add nova launcher and google messenger as replacement apps. Of course they are also optional to install.
Furthermore i added a nfc mod, to enable nfc while screen is off or while screen is on and lockscreen is on. And of course this is also optional. You can choose to use stock nfc behavior. Aaaaand there is more. I added the CTT mod from Robshr to eliminate lags. This one is not selectable because i think this mod is essential for our device.
Attention:
The script is in a very early state. There can be bugs, so be sure to make a backup from your rom with TWRP before you flash the zip.
DebloatEx and hasenbolle are not responsible for any possible damage done to your device as a result of flashing.
I will not take any responsibility for bricked phones or lost data.

Hi,
Thank you for your script. It worked great ! It seems I accidently removed the smartnotice widget and clock programs, including the alarm manager and now I cannot set an alarm. Can you please tell me which packages I have to restore in order to get my alarm manager and smartnotice back again ? Otherwise all is fine and I find it very usefull, thank you !

It should be the "LGAlarmClock" package for the alarm clock. Maybe i should that one leave unchecked. So that it wont be removed by default.
For SmartNotice i think these two packages should be moved back to the app/priv-app folder: LIAInformant and LIAS4URecommender
I will write a note in the aroma installer under the app. Thanks for your post

I have used my debloat list to debloat my Imperium v1.0 rom.

I am also experiencing Play Services FC.
Did you solve your issue?
What should be restored?
thx

In my case I applied the script after a fresh install of imperum rom. I tryed to apply directly and got that play services fc...so i dirty flashed imperium and applied the script with no errors so far
I wiped my phone yesterday and flashed also imperium 1.1 and then directly without a reboot the debloat script. This procedure worked for me everytime without a fc from google play services.
Do you have a H815 EU?

Hi,
It's not necessary to reinstal the mod after flashing a new kernel. The mod actually moves unnecessary programs and services in a folder on your phone in case you need to restore them so no need to reflash it again as it already done it's job.
I like it very much ! It improved my phone performance and battery life as it remove many programs and services I don't use. The only problems I met are that it removes the clock, the calendar and smartnotice programs and widgets. But it was easy to restore them from the backup folder and setting the permissions so now everything works fine. Just a quick suggestion - maybe in the next version it would be great if there is an option to choose if these programs to be removed. Thanks !

You can choose which programs you want to remove. You just need to untick the app in aroma and it wont be removed. The clock will not be removed by default in the new version.

So, purpose for this thread is to notify the users which mods are conflicting and causing problems for HTC 10. I hereby will share my scenario and others please also share what u guys observe.
I am using ICE stable 1.1.3 Rom, s-off, xposed framework version 85.
So the problems I faced with conflicting mods are:
1. Sudden reboots.
2. After rebooting, no ringtone during calls.
Working mods are:
1. Android N-ify v0.2.0
2. Gravitybox v6.1.3
3. Greenify (donation) v2.8.1
4. Native clipboard v4.6.4
5. OGxposed v1.0
6. Play store changelog v1.2.2
7. Xinstaller v5.0
8. Xnotifications
9. Direct APK install
10. Youtube adblock
11. Youtube background playback
Conflicting mods for me:
1. Sense toolbox v2.2.4
2. Amplify v3.3.4
P.S. these mods were conflicting for me probably because I was using Gravitybox which I didn't want to remove. With any other combination or using them single, u may not face any problem. So if u guys find any variation in behavior or whatever may be, please post and I will update my list accordingly. Thanks.

Sense Toolbox is probably conflicting with Gravitybox because they both make changes in the system. I am using Sense Toolbox for the Center Clock, to add Blinkfeed shortcut so I can run Nova Prime as my main launcher then tap that to switch to Sense. I am also running N-ify, Greenify, XNotifications, and Amplify. Oh, also APK direct install (so I don't have to toggle it in Settings/security) as well as YouTube ad block and YouTube Background Playback...no issues here at all. Everything is set up systemless. There was one module that made Sense Toolbox lose center clock so I disabled it...but I can't remember which it was. I know that it wasn't Gravitybox though...I hadn't gotten around to trying that one yet. My guess is that Gravitybox is messing with Sense Toolbox and Amplify for you but that's a guess

No problem....however, if Gravitybox has things like center clock, you can use other modules to block notifications and icons in the status bar. Sometimes if I add one thing too many, it goes back to default so it's more of a "mostly works" I wasn't able to use Gravitybox on my M9 (as far as I know) but yeah, it's best to experiment and get other people to comment like you are. Pretty soon I will be on ViperROM though...that's the sickest custom ROM I have ever used. You can leave it Sense based or "De-Sense" it and the amount of customization it has is unmatched. I have used it on 5 different HTC models and it's incredible!
For those who are going to stay stock rooted with Xposed, you have lots to choose from and my battery has been incredible so no bad side effects from using it
Hello People,
I tried a lot of ROMs , Custom kernels and always tried to get a good battery backup. Choosing ROM and custom kernel is completely depends upon our need and choice so I don't want to tell you which ROM or kernel provides you best back-up, but I will definitely help you in getting best battery through that particular ROM or kernel.

Which ROM + kernal

where is this setting in EX kernel manager
wq_power_saving( AND SET IT ON BOOT BY TAPPING AT RIGHT SIDE)
Lol the only thing this is missing is "turn your phone off". People are too damn fixated on getting 24 hours of SOT. How about just charging the phone? A battery pack is $10.

This is not available in all kernels , depends on your ROM , which ROM you are using?
Having to manually disable/delete system apps via adb every time I clean install MIUI is very tedious. Is there any app where you can select multiple apps and delete/disable them at once? I used to use system app remover but it stopped working a long time ago.
If you don't want rooted phone permanently, install Magisk the necessary time to debloat.
For example, use AdbAppControl (https://adbappcontrol.com/en/) or (Debloater Magisk module)...there must be others.
You can try AdbAppControl ( PC Software ) or AppManager ( root app apk ).

If you like MIUI. Try giving MIUI EU a shot. It's the best version of MIUI. Fully debloated and bugs free.
Highly recommend this: https://github.com/MuntashirAkon/AppManager/releases
To my surprise I didn't see any links to wonderful repository of FLOSS: F-droid. So here it is:
App Manager - Android package manager
App Manager - Android package manager | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository
A full-featured open source package manager for android.

There is the Magisk moduel and app - De-bloater by sunipaulmathew
