The rom you are trying to flash must have an old update binary/script.
Download CWM 6.0.4.5 and flash it, then you can install the rom.

Try to flash stock rom, download it from sammobile.com
If it won't works then try to find pre rooted rom for it
I rooted mine with pre rooted file, it's about 1.3gb but I think it's last option for you
And can you give me link to cwm recovery for sm-t211?

Perhaps, you could try this:
www .androidfilehost. com / ?fid = 23329332407567959
just remove spaces
but personally i'd recommend Philz Touch Recovery for Tab 3 (there's unofficial mod)

Cwm7???
I am running cwm4 (I have galaxy fit)...and up till now only cwm5 and cwm4 is available for my device!!!
Maybe you are talking about cm7 (cyanogenmod7)...that is a rom, cwm is a recovery...
Even my device doesn't have official cm on it (there are only unofficial ones)...
So you will have to be patient
2.3.7 was for nexus.
i have a better solution... there's a .zip from the skin1980 thread. each time you need clockwork, just go in recovery mode and apply the zip, it will boot the CWM

What recovery and verision of it are you using? for 4.3+ roms you need CWM 6.0.3.7+ or TWRP 2.6.1.0
I´m also having this problem. I can't flash any ROM. I went back to stock and tried again with those versions of recovery but nothing.

DEVICE: Samsung Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
ROM: United Basics v4.0
RECOVERY: TWRP 2.6.3.1

[Q]Can't update to CM11

Can't update to CM11 coming from CM10.2.
It says something like "this is for gt N5100, kona-3g?(not sure), N5100, This is kona-wifi(not sure again)"
but I'm sure my phone is N5100
I had this problem to... Flash a recovery that is for N5100 only like twrp or you can try to remove the first 4 lines in the updater scrip in the meta-inf\google\android but I'm not to sure about the folders though, open the updater script using notepad

Problem already solved. I used philz touch. Thanks anyway. :highfive:
EDIT:
Okay that was fixed with using the latest PhilZ advanced CWM ver 6
hi there
i have exactly the same problem
im using PhilZ CWM and tried to flash the OMNIROM for GT-N5100
My Galaxy is all new and this is my first time to flash an android device
flashing the root pack and the PhilZ CWM worked like a charm, but if i try to flash the ROM for my GT-5100 it rants about "this for for kona-3g, this is device kona-wifi"
I triple-checked the build-info in the device settings, and it says everywhere "GT-N5100" - even at bootup
The ROM im trying to use is named like :
omniß4.4.20131224ßn5100-homemade.zip
im using Philz Touch 5 CWM 6 version CivZ 1.1
error is :
THis package is for "GT-N5100,kona3g..." device this is a "konawifi" (status 7)
Any ideas ??

I had the same issue too. I am back with CM11 nightly with some messing around.
1. Used Oden3 v3.07 and installed CivZ-Touch-6.0.4.4-Odin-5110_5100-REV1.1.tar
2. From recovery I installed philz_touch_6.41.6-n5110.
3. Rebooted, wiped, and installed my CM nightly from the main CM site (& gapps)
I used info and downloaded from Droid Views website. (cant post links yet)
Hope this helps!

Just untick "Auto-Reboot within odin & flash , then reboot manually power+volume up.
Another thing: I can't use odin because I don't have a computer. There's an app called flashify that installs recoveries but it still only works with 2.6.3.0. Even installing the latest version from goo manager doesn't work.

I think I will need to install TWRP with Odin -- goomanager isn't working for me. It SAYS that it has installed TWRP, but every time I try to get into recovery all I get is the standard Android recovery.
My question, please is this: where did you get the tar file for TWRP, and which slot did you use with Odin? Was it the PDA?
Thanks very much

I got mine by going to the twrp site, but I admit it wasn't exactly easy to find. You can know you're getting the right version of TWRP if you download CPU-Z from the play store and check the third page that says system; the model name gives you the store citric name you'll look for when you go to the TWRP site, but the link I gave you is for the lt03wifiue .
Have fun!

I've tried odin several times to no success.Alos tried gooim or whatever its called. The tablet always goes back to the android recovery... Ive read that it can be done, also that it cant be done. So am i wasting time, or just screwing something up.... Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Goo manager doesn't work on our tablet for install of twrp.
Use the link four posts up for the twrp. Also, just check your SOC with CPUz, to make sure it's actually the right version of twrp for your tablet. But Odin is the way to go.

I'm hoping maybe someone could enlighten me how to get TWRP to boot into TWRP. I had CleanRom installed and everything was working with TWRP. Stupid me I thought I could help battery life by doing a Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe. Bonked my P600! I had to ODIN a new firmware, rooted and tried to get TWRP installed. I've tried the ODIN Tar method 2.6.3.1, Tried with a TWRP zip file and Goo Manager to install TWRP and none worked. When I go to recovery I keep getting the Android System Recovery. My head is banging on my desk at the moment. Would anyone have an idea how to get TWRP working on my rooted and now stock P600? I so want to get Clean 2.0 back. :crying::crying::crying::crying:
A big Thanks in advance for the help.
Solved: I'm not sure why but I tried ODIN again and TWRP install. WEIRD
