Galaxy Note 10.1 S Pen Holder Kit ET-S110EBEGXAR

Hi all,
I stumbled across this the other day;
http://m.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/ET-S110EBEGXAR
The pic seems to be of the smaller n7000 version of the pen holder and seems unclear that it comes with both the holder and active stylus.
I would really like a larger pen. Does anyone have any additional info?

I have this one and would not recommend it. It is the original one they made when they first released the phone version of the Note. Although the pen makes a big difference to using the phones small S-pen, there is a button on the side of the holder that gets pressed unless you hold it a particular way and causes your writing flow to stop.
The way it works is that you place the small S-pen inside this holder which aligns itself with the button and then you just twist the holder into place. It does come with a spare S-pen, the one made for the original Note.
If you want a full sized pen, you should go for any Wacom pen enabled pens that also have the eraser on the end, the eraser works well with S-note and other apps that support the eraser function. It may also be a good idea to order different tips and depending on your preference, use the one that suits your usage patterns.
Do you have a link for one you recommend?

You can have a read through arjag's other thread to get recommendations, I have the one for the Lenovo x61t which works well however I have not yet tried other tips yet which I will do, the original ones,I tend to find are not as smooth as the one fitted on the new S-pen of the Note 10.1.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I was really hoping that Samsung had actually released a pen holder kit that fitted and came with a n8000 replacement stylus.
As mentioned I my other thread, I am too disappointed in the performance of the Lenovo pen to use it.

If you (or anyone) is also using that Note 10.1 as a phone, this Samsung S-pen with bluetooth headset may be of interest to you :good:

Um, how would you write when you are on a call?
How about just using a BT headset as a BT headset and the pen as a pen?
This seems like a gimmick to me with few practical uses.
Hi,
I agree that the bt pen seems to be a gimmick too. After using a dual mic (dsp) headset there is no going back. I am very happy with my Plantronics Voyager Pro.
It really does seem there is no such thing as a "Galaxy Note 10.1" S Pen holder kit and Samsung are just trying to get rid of un sold ones.
I think this is a bit rude of Samsung!
Does anyone know where to get the propper replacement S Pen for the N80xx?
Edit: Scratch that, through samsung's site of course http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/ETC-S1G2BEGXAR

[Q] Flipcover-Case /or whatever its called) for Note II?

Heya everyone!
In the IFA Hands-On video concerning the Note II's acessories the guy showed these super cool flipcovers.
The ones he showed you just clipped onto the phone instead of the normal back-cover and they had a flap that covered the screen
of the phone when closed.
I'm kinda new so I have no idea what theese cases are actually called (think i heard something like otterbox once? Dunno if thats what this is called though).
Anyhow, where can i get one of these!??? I have been searching all kinds of places, but no luck so far...
I can't bear the idea of having to shove the Note II into my pocket without any means of protecting that delicious screen.
And i doubt im the only one that thinks that way? I guess most others will get a screen protector or so. But anything
that reduces responsiveness or screen brilliance is a total No-Go for me.
Help please!!!! (already preordered my Note II... need that case faaast)
Thanks guys and gals :good:

S Pen Holder Kit Tip

Is it possible to change the tip on the stylus that comes with the S Pen Holder Kit? I'd like to use one of the black rubber ones that came with the Note 10.1. I tried pulling it out but it doesn't seem come out.

Sure you can check out video.

Thanks for the reply but that video is for replacing the tips for the stylus that came with the Note 10.1. My post is regarding the stylus that comes with the s pen holder kit, which is a smaller stylus. Anyone know if it's possible to change that tip?

I've got the same S Pen Holder, it's not for the Note 10.1, it's an add-on for the Galaxy Note N7000 5.3". Don't try to take it apart or else you'll break it, it's a combination of plastics assembled with a special glue.

Unfortunately you cannot change the tips on the holder as they are not interchangeable due to being part of the stylus. The ones that can be changed come with spare tips, even the note 2 does not seem to have interchangeable tips.
I have not based my response on any research other than trying to remove the tips on the older pens.

Hello, i just got my sg note 10.1 and in the manual they show you how to change the tips. So in my opinion they should be able to change the tips. The only thing i dont know is why there are black tips and white tips.

Stylus?

Anyone found a good stylus? Preferably something that can attach to the phone magnetically or otherwise. Thanks

i know of nothing that will attach magnetically, however, i use the Adonit Dash or the DOT pen when i want to write on pictures, drawings, etc. doesn't meet the Note 5 spen standard but it's good enough for me. my handwriting is pretty good, but the picture below doesn't do my handwriting justice...
I'm having the weirdest issue.
I just got a Adonit Dash 3 and it skips badly on my S8+.
However, if i use it first on my Pixel XL (on which it works fine), it doesn't skip on my S8+ anymore.
Also, if i screw off the holder tip (but leave the plastic tip on), it works flawless on the S8+.
I don't know what o make of this.
This is so weird.
Almost thinking my S8+ is the issue here and not the pen.
Any thoughts anyone ?

Additional/Replacement Pens

Hey guys, does anyone have a list, or could we start one, with aftermarket or other series Samsung pens which work with the S3? I was looking for a (inexpensive) one I can keep for work without worrying about losing the expensive one. I searched Amazon, and I can't seem to find any other than the OEM which are sure to work.
Anyone have any luck?
Thanks
Not full-sized replacement but....
Normally, what I have is the S-Pen replacements from Note phones, they tend to work, although I can say that they are definitely small.

I got the Noris pen as a backup. It doesn't have the S Pen button on the side. But it works just fine otherwise. And I had to use it when I busted the nib on the S Pen.
