M360 Available at Select Best Buy Stores. Does Yours Have It? - Moto 360

Anyone planning to still purchase a Moto 360?
I'm still buying one even though some sites say that the battery life isn't that great. Apparently it's available in-store at "select" Best Buy's to buy off of the shelf. I live in Northern Virginia just outside of the D.C. beltway. I'm going to call around and take an early lunch to pick one up.
Anyone else planning to get one today?
Which Best Buy did you have to go to?

I work a block away from a best buy, hope they carry it but I have an hour lunch and there are 4 bestbuys within a 30min drive. I'm calling them at 10am to make sure I grab one.

I'm doing the same

I'll be calling around today once they open to see what store in my area has it. If none, I'll order from site at noon.

You can check the black one on the best buy website here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchp...age&id=pcat17071&iht=y&cp=1&nrp=15&st=8307152
So far, none in stock. I did in store pickup but the estimate is next week. Hopefully a placeholder!

Yeah the sites being weird now! It let me buy one earlier... Did in store for my local best buy.

Since it doesn't appear AT&T is going to carry it (or at least at launch) I'm going to be buying it at Best Buy. I do hope that when it does go live that I'll be able to pick it up at my local Best Buy. Unfortunately I will be out camping until Sunday so I won't be able to get it today
I wish AT&T was carrying it since I get a 50% off discount and that's where I got my G Watch for only $115.

Will do. I called Springfield and the manager said that Motorola was announcing it but Best Buy wasn't selling the Moto 360 at all. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. I asked if he was absolutely sure and he said yes again. He even went as far as to tell me that it didn't even appear in his computer.
He sounded rather confident about his answer, so I didn't bother telling him he was an idiot.

He actually doesn't know what he's talking about, not showing on his comp probably means he's looking at the website and doesn't see it anymore (they had a placeholder earlier this morning) Best Buy will be selling them starting at noon today. Most stores don't open until ~10am and it takes several hours for the system to update once products are scanned in - most shipments arrived last night. The smartest option if you want one is go to the store aroun 11:30 and wander around badgering employees until you get one or get info about ordering one. I'm waiting until around noon to check the site b/c I want to be able to order online to get cash back points, and the Best Buy is 45 mins away from me. I'm crossing my fingers that everything gets updated on time and I'm able to order online and get same day pick up. We shall see!

he is stupid , best buy was the store that leaked the price by putting it for sale a while back on the website
Germantown,Rockville and Gaithersburg MD don't have it either

I finally spoke to someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about. She was at the Pentagon City BB. I gave her the leaked SKU and the SKU from the guy who made the miracle online order. She said they won't have them in store until next week sometime. She checked around at Bailey's Crossing and they don't have anything right now either.
Maybe I'll disguise my voice and call back around noon after they check in their merchandise for the day.

none of my local best buys have any according to the people in store.

One of the best buy's like 30 minutes from me had some in stock for pickup today online about an hour ago but it's gone now.

I just called my local Best Buy in Lancaster, PA, and they said they will not have them in stock. I doubted they would...
The girl on the phone said she had gotten a lot of calls about it...
I am on the fence about buying...the battery life is my major concern...

This is why I want to purchase through Best Buy, as opposed to Motorola or the Play Store - battery life is the sort of thing you can only learn through personal experience, and I want the option to easily return the device if I find that the battery life isn't tolerable.

Best Buy Geek Squad Battery Replacement Scam

Ok, so I got a replacement battery in the mail today from Best Buy Geek Squad/Black Tie Warranty, and surprise surprise... what arrives?
A chinese knock off battery, 1100mAh, and its white! They even printed the 1500mAh part number on it 35h00123-22m! It says for HTC EVO 4G on it. Just what I wanted, a lower powered knock off for my phone
I expected better from best buy!
9/29/2010 follow up:
Sorry for the delayed response guys, kind of forgot I even posted this rant. So basically Geek Squad admitted that it was pretty crappy that I was sent an 1100, but they couldn't do anything about because that was the only battery they had. So I was told to buy a battery from another store and submit a receipt for it and would be refunded. I did that, but unfortunately the battery I ordered from Amazon which was supposed to be new, was actually used and even had a phone number written on it! So now I have a dispute opened with an Amazon seller as well. Still haven't submitted the receipt to best buy, probably wont even bother. It's only $15. I'm just going to cancel geek squad warranty and keep my sprint insurance. By the way, Geek Squad does not give out new phone as replacements, they are refurbs. In my opinion, Sprint's insurance is quite a bit better. No questions asked.

Take it back, explain that you want a like new replacement as they promise, if they give you any lip, explain that you will be happy to let the BBB and more importantly your states attorney general know that they are buying knockoff batteries, in fact now that you think about it maybe thats how all of those battery fires started, didn't most of those have Best Buy warranties. Perhaps the local news should get word of that.
Bet you get your battery REAL FAST.
Not suprising coming from Best Buy.
I preordered my Epic 4G on Monday from a BB Mobile store and the woman there told me that the phone, before the gift card they sell you as your preorder deposit, the phone is only $200 instead of $250, and that with my card I only need to pay $150. We'll see about that.
The other thing she mentioned is that the BB protection plan will replace my phone with a brand new model, for free, no matter what is wrong with the device. They told my brother the same thing. He paid for it for a few months, the keyboard on his original Droid went bad and when he contacted them, they denied him the replacement and that they best they could do is take his phone, give him a Tracphone or something for a week and they'd ship the Droid out and return to him his repaired device.
Also, Best Buy may not even know they are buying knockoffs. They could very well be getting ripped off themselves. I remember this happened with some company not too long ago. I can't remember the headline though.
So yea... Definitely let them know at the store and give Best Buy corporate a call or email. I think you'll probably get a response.

They told me the correct thing when I bought mine.
They ship it off and give you a temp replacement. If they can't fix it (up to 2 weeks) they will give you a brand new replacement. You will get no refurbished devices though. Either they fix your actual device or you get a new one.
Yeah I used the Best Buy insurance to replace my wife's broken 8-month old Moment for an Evo for about $120 (the difference in price).

You might think so but what they are trained and supposed to do in this situation si tell you that they are no longer allowed to talk to you and you will have to contact the legal department. As an EX geek squad manager i can tell you the BBB threat will make them laugh the attorney general and news will also likely lead them to stop talking to you.
If you go in and are reasonable and they tell you tough simply ask for the district number and call the district office they will get it fixed more then likely.
The whole threaten thing is a joke and is over used and more and more it doesnt work as it used to. Most companies now train there managers and supervisors to stop talking to you as soon as you threaten to do something like that.

I'll also agree with this and add one as an insider to BB. They will end up calling the cops, the cops ALWAYS will side with BB because they are encouraged to have a good relationship with them. As soon as you start getting lippy and stop listening, they will call the police - the cops won't listen to ANYTHING you have to say and that is that. If you get crazy with the cops, expect a trespass charge.

Works for me everytime. Of course I follow up after the requisite warning. Mine is not a threat. It is a notification.
And if you have been trained to just shut up after your informed that your company has ripped someone off the that is criminal negligence which can easily be proven by recording the conversation.

Wont have to wait long for the police at my local BB. If they are open, a uniformed officer is at the front door...and marked car parked on the sidewalk out front...Always. I'm sure they are not on "official police business" most likely they are off duty and picking up some xtra bucks as security. They can still arrest you though
I have learned that being the asshole will get you nowhere, even if you are in the right. I would make sure you have your facts straight, if you can prove its 1100, prove it, bring documentation. Ask for a manager and be polite. I'm a business owner and when a customer comes at me with an attitude, they get what they give. The customer is always right died a long time ago. If a manager doesnt work, go to the district manager. If that doesnt work, then you got fuc%$ed. Goto BBB, Angies, Local media, google reviews etc and make them wish they would have replaced your battery. It will for sure cost them more than the battery. If 1 person gets turned away, you won No it wont hurt them in the big picture, but it might make you feel better if you know they lost a few thousand bucks. Online reviews work believe it or not.

i dont know where you get your information but not talking to you is not criminal negligence. Also in most states recording a conversation with out both parties knowing about the recording in advance is normally not admissible as evidence in court with out a warrant stating you can record conversations.
I was a manager for 7 years and the people that came in were respectful nice and took the route i said got there problems solved by the people who threw temper tantrums threatened (even if they followed up) and were rude usually got screwed whether they were in the right or not. It is true as above that they will call the cops.
I cant tell you how many times some jerk came it not the store yelling there head off and going ballistic got escorted out because they didn't just act civil and go through the right channels. I can tell you an equal umber of stories where people where extremely nice and respectful and showed there point and the management and district staff bent over backwards to try to make it right.
your experience may be that you have gotten what you want being a deuchebag but i will say it works less and less and you have just as much of a chance of being escorted out by the police, not talked to, and getting no where as you do actually getting what you want.

I am not sure where in my statement you are getting that I go in and start acting like a jerk?
I go in, explain my issue, and state what I would like done to have it fixed.
If the issue is then not fixed I escalate with a warning that if we cannot fix it right there I have no issue making the needed calls to set the matter straight.
As for "most states", most more more than half, 2 party consent is only needed in 12 states, thats a bit less than half of the US the last time I checked.
Also of note is that while your working at a public place such as Best Buy, you have no expectation of privacy when speaking with customers therefore recording laws would not come into play.
So what your saying, is if the customer licked your boots and stroked your ego you would help them, but if you ripped them off and they were rightly pissed you used your "god like powers" to make sure they got no help at all. Got ya.
Again, if I tell an employee that there is an issue and I have been ripped off by your company and that employee just ignores me without letting a manager know, that employee is guilty of criminal negligence.
He had knowledge of reason to believe a crime had happened and he did not do what a reasonable person would and contact a person of authority, thats criminal negligence.
Either way the OP just needs to go in, explain the issue, show the proof and get it resolved, and if that does not work, do not bother dealing with letters to management etc. Just cal the local AG and let them know what happened and that this is something you believe is happening on a large scale, an investigation will be launched and they will be VERY happy to make you whole again.
We are also informed that once lawyer or BBB or any of that other crap is mentioned to let them know they can now talk to the legal dept..
Being a douche will get you nowhere with customer service.Where as being nice will usually always get you results.
Hopefully someday people will figure this out.
We've had people complain to the BBB about our warranty policy, and basically the BBB has laughed at the people saying, we aren't asking for anything out of the ordinary. The BBB serves a purpose, but they're going to judge for the fair and reasonable side, which is not always the customer's side. In this case I think fair and reasonable is that you get a battery that is equivalent to what you had or better.
This is yet another reason why I always tell Best Buy when I'm buying a phone that I want Sprint's insurance not theirs, which they add on happily without any issue.

Just got Official info on Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Date, Marketing, and accessories)!!

Went into a Verizon corporate store in NYC for an unrelated issue today (troubles with my Bionic) and while I was there I had a talk with one of the managers. I was able to convince him to sell me the official Verizon Galaxy Nexus Shell/Holster combo case early. He also showed me two other cases (one silicone and one high gloss) and said that there will also be screen protectors, batteries, and a dock although they don't have them in stock yet.
But more importantly I asked him for info about the release date after I purchased the case. He told me that literally a few minutes before I came in he received and was reading a notice from Verizon HQ that the official date has been set as of this morning and confirmed for December 8th. He stated that it will be available for purchase online and in all stores as of that date. He also went on to say that Verizon has planned a marketing campaign for the Galaxy Nexus starting this Friday (expect to see plenty of ads soon). I was also able to get confirmation from him that the phone will come with the My Verizon Mobile app and one other Verizon essential app preinstalled. Unfortunately, this is all he was allowed to disclose to me without "getting himself in trouble" but I would say that's pretty nice of him to confirm this. I hope you guys find this info useful. Here is a pic of the case below:

This forum has become overly aggressive. Everybody calm the hell down. Plenty of people are appreciative that this date can now be taken as confirmed.
His accessory comment wasn't bragging, it was just a comment in passing. He was telling a story.

First, stop being a douchebag to everybody. Nobody laughs at it and it makes you look like an uneducated brute.
Secondly, thank you OP for filling in the forum. Whether it's true or not will still have to be seen, as many other Verizon employees still say they have no clue, but it's still nice of you to tell everyone what you know...especially with the hostility on this forum, as of late.
Guess this works out for me...my credit card cycle recycles on the 7th and I had to buy $1000 of tires and $1000 of Christmas gifts this month. Guess this is God's way of telling me to save some money!
I hope this is really the date, I heard this also, as many of you. If course it would be nice to have it sooner but, if not; it's nice to have an actual date.

You are such a prick. An hour ago you make fun of somebody for giving information that he learned from the Verizon store, then on another site you tell everybody you heard some information while you were at a Verizon store 2 hours ago? In addition, you gave the same information that you, most assuredly, learned from this very topic.
I hope your mom still spanks you.

My car's brand new but I need winter performance tires (they come with summer-only performance) which came out to around $250 a piece. 235x40 are kind of expensive.
Gonna need to buy summer wheels in the spring too =P another $1500 down the drain, but worth it so I don't have to change over the tires every other season and re-balance. Much easier just to change the wheels myself.

ha I was having a bit of trouble getting the Star Wars - The Old Republic beta downloaded and working correctly so I had time to browse the forums =P usually a majority of my XDA browsing is done at work...so being on this late is a new experience for me.
Guess I should plan another vacation day on December 8th...or I'll be out of the office for a few hours in the morning

Ya, these weren't even amazing. They're Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3. I was going to go with the new Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds, but I got a $70 rebate on these Michelins lol so couldn't pass them up. Only one more purchase and I'll be set on wheels/tires for the next few years. The car's only 6 months old, so still have a few "new-car" purchases that must be made.
Strange thing, though, with the way 4G LTE works. I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE that sits on my desk at work. I get 2-3 bars of 4G service with it (connection speeds varies between 16/2Mbps up to around 30/12Mbps) sitting there on my desk. Another guy on my team bought the Rezound today and, standing right in front of my desk, it had no 4G and only 2 bars of 3G. I'm hoping that the Nexus has a better signal reach than the Rezound.
Then again, he admitted he already installed Juice Defender and there's a possibility it turned off 4G. He didn't look closely, but he didn't remember setting anything specifically for it. Maybe he had it off! Who knows. Just hoping I retain a 4G signal there at my desk. The company wifi is a bit tricky in certain places in the building, so being able to fall back on faster 4G is pretty nice (I don't even have my Galaxy Tab hooked up to the wifi anymore).

Just bought some Nokia Stock

I just purchased yesterday some shares of Nokia (at 2.79, it seemed a good time to buy). As a Windows Phone believer, I really think that Nokia will turn around, and they will be really successful.
Am I an irrational "fanboi"?
Well your arguments don't sound like the most rational ones out there, but I too think it's a good investment if you can wait atleast for a year or two before selling .
I'm also thinking of buying some And hopefully it will go quite well
I too bought 400 shares as I think in a year or two I'll make a decent return on my investment. I don't see Nokia going away as Microsoft has put a lot of cash in them in hopes of bringing WP7 up to #3. I bought as a long term investment for sure, so time will tell. Good luck to you also, we'll see if we made a good move!
By the way, best advise I can give you is, don't watch the stock daily, let it ride as someone said above, it will take quite some time before it starts to move in a positive direction. Just let it be and wait until WP8 comes out and gets established.you'll drive yourself nuts watching it right now!

Based purely on your post I would have to say "yes."
This is facebook 2.0. I LOVE my Lumia 900. But I also realize Betamax was better than VHS. VHS won. It is not just a matter of having a superior product that I like. You also have to market it.
I can't believe sheeple are still paying $200 for an outdated iphone with no LTE and a 3.5 inch screen. If you want a free contract iphone you will have to make due with the iphone 3gs. That's insane. The iphone 4s is already dated. And people are picking up a phone 3 generations older for the same price as I got a Lumia 900. That is the market place Nokia is playing in. So no I do not believe their success no matter how much I LOVE their product is assured.

Buying with your heart is always a bad investment. Buy for the gain, not the good. Doesn't matter if its rail cars or crystal.

Well, obviously historical decline is not a reason not to buy, more like the other way around.
The stock hasn't bottomed out yet. Nokia also mentioned they're likely to face more quarters of operating at a lost, and the smartphone business is only part of their business.
Nokia has also been downgraded to junk status, as no one believes that they will be able to repay their loans.
I've been thinking about buying, but I'm betting it'll go lower. I'm holding out until right before the major launches.

This is what people were saying last year when Nokia was trading over $7 a share...
That advice led to a >50% loss. "Cheap shares" can get cheaper. I need more information than that before a stock becomes a buy.
With Nokia value approaching net value of its patent portfolio and cash on hand, this seems like the time to buy if you believe in NOK's upside.
The downside risks are:
They burn all cash while in recovery mode and go bankrupt
WP7 doesn't increase sales to return them to future relevance
My take is that the cash issue is a non-issue. Even with their credit rating as junk, intuition says that NOK will have free access to cheap cash loans from someone with lots of cash and a vested interest in their success: Microsoft
The WP7 upshot is the big question mark, but the grass roots indicators are telling me that WP7 will be that catalyst, given time. Since time = money for NOK and MSFT has the money, this seems non-issue, as well.
The "doomsday" scenario is if NOK's market cap goes so cheap as to make a hostile acquisition enticing. Then you could see IP desperate Google or another maker stepping in to try to eat them up. In that case, I don't think MSFT would let that happen, either. Net-net of this scenario is that NOK's value gets run up in a bidding war, which I don't think MSFT would let be lost.
Either way, as a long term hold, NOK seems cheap.

No one is saying NOK is safe - far from it. But if you are looking at a long term bet with big upside due to ambiguity, there are worse bets.
I bought $2K of NOK a few weeks ago knowing full well it could be zero. I considered it like buying a lotto ticket, fully understand it could be worth nothing or that NOK could be at $10+ in a year.

Over here in the US if all you want to do is trade stocks E*trade or Ameritrade are okay. I heard Fidelity is good as well. Choose a reputable firm and then see what pricing is like for your trading strategy. Your choice of broker will definitely vary depending on how often you trade.

Question Trade-in Questions

UPDATE: I received the trade in box yesterday.
The trade-in box is small and will only fit the phone. I've left the case on the Note 9 for a little extra protection along with the original plastic screen and back protector.
My obsessive behavior to keep every original item wasn't needed this go around since I didn't sell on Swappa. The Samsung Note 9 box and accessories will not be shipped.
I'm will try out the Samsung Dex which I barely used to see it it will offer any value with the P6P.
Thank you all for the feedback.
------
Original post:
I am doing the Google trade-in for Pixel 6 Pro and have not done a device trade-in before. I am hoping someone can provide some insight.
Q: How honest is the inspection process? I selected "to take the amount they offer" if not in the condition expected. I don't want to get screwed by this...
Q: Do I need to send my excellent condition Note 9 in the original packaging (which I still have)? Or, does this not even matter to the button pushers and screen checkers?
Details:
- $235 is the trade-in amount estimated for Samsung Note 9 512GB. (This is &145 more than Best Buy, and $175 more than Amazon.)
-- I can't unlock, root and TWRP due to v9 firmware. Also, no more One UI updates even though I always used Nova Launcher anyway.
-- I also considered Swappa but decided against it this time - I hate Paypal.
This Note 9 is in excellent condition. No scratches, dings, et al. Always in case and screen protector. It is re-packed in its original box with all original pieces, some not even used.

I am going to take pictures of the device before I send it in...I am also going to be sending it in, in the case I use with it...
I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and they are giving me $150 for it....figuring mine is not the 5g version and i'd be lucky to get $200 for it on Swappa..I'll take the $150 instead.
I wouldn't worry. If you're honest, you'll get what they estimated.

I took pictures too! I need to take one with the device on and will do so before sending. My trade-in kit shipped today.
Definitely honest. I take great care of my many Android phones over the years For potential re-sell or give-away to friends but this Note 9 is pretty flawless.
Never had issues with their trade-in, as long as you're honest it goes pretty smooth. They will send you a mobile shipping box with a label.
Pictures are a must and the trade-in's are convenient way to upgrade! I'm trading in my OnePlus8Pro and leaving the bootloader unlocked

Visit Swappa, see what your device in similar condition is going for.
If it's close to what Google is offering, go for the Google trade-in.
My Pixel 5 trade-in through Google was very close to what it's getting on Swappa, so I'm just sending it to Google.
Done! Swappa aligns - in same price range. (Now if OnTrac can just figure out how to deliver the new P6P. LOL)

I have never received anything from TForce that I am aware of.
Unfortunately, OnTrac routinely left packages anywhere they felt like it at the university where I work. e.g. out on public steps at the university, in the bushes next to random buildings, at Central Receiving locked door during Christmas break (big sign = WE ARE CLOSED. DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES). Public Safety fortunately found 25-30 packages left out / in the rain delivered over the Christmas/NY break).
We contacted our Amazon Business rep and Logistics team and told them to NEVER let OnTrac deliver any of the university's packages again and they complied.
So here's to hoping this wont happen to those with OnTrac delivery!
I'm pretty sure that this is the first time that I wasn't been sent a trade-in return box/label in advance, or asking with the new phone.

No, not possible. The same is true with anyplace you get a phone from - you have to request a trade-in at the same time.

Oh, reminding me to Factory Reset! LOL
I forgot about my trade-in kit. Just checked and it hasn't shipped but my phone just shipped today. Hopefully get it this week. "You should receive a prepaid Trade In kit within seven business days." If that's 7 days from "Trade In initiated", they're late. Not really surprising.
@johninsf - I have traded in all my previous Pixels, every time I got a new one. Never had an issue. Waiting for my Pixel 6 Pro and trade in kit to send back my Pixel 5... and I don't expect any issues either. As may have said above, as long as you're honest and ensure the device is reset, screen is good, you should be fine. Once they get the device, the inspection and refund is pretty fast to be honest - at least in previous years.

General Just FYI - New OnePlus 9 Pro prices shooting upwards at big guy vendors

We noticed last night (Tues 21 Jun 2022) that since last time I looked at prices of new US unlocked 12GB/256GB OnePlus 9 Pro models a couple weeks ago, where most retail places like Best Buy, Amazon etc. who were stocking and selling these at the current retail of $799, have now suddenly started marking these way up.
Last night Best Buy was selling for $1069 and Amazon (direct, not reseller) had also gone way up.
Just posting this in case anybody was looking to get one but maybe had not pulled the trigger yet. Or maybe a spare you wanted but were going to wait - this was our situation. We wanted to have a 3rd as a spare in case something happens to one of our phones.
Well I am sure there are any number of reasons why prices are suddenly going north on these. Not much being shipped from China lately for example, and market responding with fear and greed. Or maybe (conjecture not calling this fact) it is just official now to those in the know that they are not going to be making any more and so the market is reacting to knowledge that whatever is out there is all there is going to be.
In any case, if you were looking to get a(nother?) OnePlus 9 Pro unlocked US 12GB/256GB, you may want to bump up your timetable so you don't get totally gouged.
If you are careful looking around at Amazon you can find combo deals that let you still get one for just over the original $799 retail price, for example if you buy with a set of pro buds.
Anyway, snagged up our spare to have on hand last night. Would really hate to have to buy a 10 Pro if something happened to one of our 9 Pro's.
I bought an Open-box 12/256 OPO 9 Pro off Ebay for $704 shipped 2 weeks ago. Phone looks and performs flawlessly and have been very happy with it so far (even with C48). Just throwing it out there in case people are OK with not buying new.
Glad you found one at a price you are happy with.
I looked briefly on eBay for new ones a few weeks ago the lowest priced d00d I found with new Morning Mist ones was asking (pretty sure) $1199 for them and was not open to budging on price, even buying two of them.
So I shrugged and went to a local Best Buy who had 2 Pine Green in stock for retail price ($799). We've covered phones up with non-clear cases and will be covering camera eyes areas with protectors too when we put the Whitestone domes on, so who cares if they're green under the covers?
Amazon had both colors in stock last night...
Will have to disable/uninstall/burninate the Alexa crapware on the spare if/when we need it (break seal only in case of emergency) but we run LOS anyway.
Cheers!

The retail is not $799, it's $1069. Sounds like the sales are just coming to an end to me.
OK. Yeah, well not sure what the "official" retail price was on these a few weeks ago, my statement of $799 was what they were (and still ARE) listed at OnePlus website for, although they are out of stock there unless you are OK with buying a T-Mobile carrier-locked one (no thanks...). They WERE 799 at Amazon and Best Lie 3-4 weeks ago when we bought our first two. Now they're not.
Retail price... street price... whatever.
But yea, whole reason I posted this was for anyone who was thinking of buying (another?) one - in hopes it helps some friendly peeps here get one before they are gone, or before you have to pay $1800 for one as I saw some resellers listing them for last night...
Because gougers gonna' gouge... and when even the BIG guys are doin' it, well, it just goes downhill from there...
Word to the wise... thats all.

I can buy OnePlus 9 Pro with less than 400 Euro from sales forums in my country. People sell the phone from different reasons:
- because they received as (bad) gift:
- Pixel, Samsung or icreap users:
- don't like Onepllus phones / OxygenOS.
- they have other phone and they got used to it.
- the need of money.
For example, i bought a brand new OnePlus 10 Pro, 8/128gb, black, full box with 600 euro.
Yep, understood.
Personally, this is the first model of android I have purchased myself brand new (vs. it being issued to me by the peanut dispenser/employer) that had a non-replaceable battery. I am not sure yet with my degree/level of experience on non-replaceable battery phones what the long-term effect/life/use pattern is, so just speaking for me, it's one of the reasons I've restricted myself to buying brand new sealed box vs. used, although I do know used can be lot cheaper.
Also a lesson I learned with 1st OnePlus 9 Pro I got from Amazon the other day is, just because it is brand new in factory sealed box does not necessarily mean defect-free. It had some kind of ding/pit/blemish around the edge of the metal frame on front, right where the glass meets the frame, which I was concerned about affecting fit of the case and/or glass screen protector, so I had to get a replacement sent.
FWIW both OnePlus 9 Pro's I got from Amazon (.com, not 3rd-party reseller) had mfg date on box sticker of June 2021. And battery on the 2nd one was just about dead (8% remaining) when I opened it up. The 2 originals we bought from Best Lie were at 21% remaining and had Oct 2021 mfg date on box sticker.
I never started up/checked battery on the first one I got from amazon. That ding on the frame was a show stopper for me...

Cheers!
