GN VZW is on for tomorrow(the 9th) @ Best Buy Mobile

EDIT I went in today to pick it up. The salesman went and grabbed it for me. He was in the process of ringing me up for it when the manager noticed what he was doing and stopped him. The manager apologized to me and said they received numerous calls yesterday about it and decided to check in to it and found that they have to hold off on selling it for now.
So basically if I hadn't said anything here yesterday & didn't post my store's info I could have had a GN today.

I got a call from my local Best Buy Mobile just now telling me that they have the phone in stock now and are selling it tomorrow. They said they have one set a side for me.

Well I hope you get it! I have to wait til the end of Jan for my upgrade

Just got off the phone 30 min ago with Verizon. Rep told me that she just heard tonight that it was going to be out tomorrow!

Im in Colorado Springs they have 5 at both stores and will be selling them tomorrow.

I really think they need to tell all the Reps the same thing, because it does not help the rumors if they are telling us all different days. I guess all we can do is wait ill tomorrow and see if they end up releasing it. Keep your fingers crossed!

I just facebook messaged a friend of mine who works for Best Buy mobile and this is what he told me:
"We don't have it but Verizon has it I heard"
I am pretty sure no one in that store knows anything about cell phones since I quit last month. If this indeed does end up coming out at Best Buy tomorrow I know what I will be doing on my lunch break!

I went to Costco in Fountain Valley, CA today and they said they have them in but cannot sell them yet. They won't know until tomorrow and he'll give me a call.

Best Buy not authorized to sell Sunday?!

Just stopped in to my local BBM store and talked to the manager of the location and I was told he was blocked by the system trying to sell one yesterday. System has them blocked until tomorrow. Anyone else having issues?

I was told by a non corporate At&t store that they couldn't sell till Sunday either. Went to the closest corporate store and purchased with ease.

All of the local bestbuy stores to me have useless (or carefully uninformative) employees. One store told me it wouldn't be in until black friday, another said to check back monday because that's when the trucks come with new stock.
I would buy from AT&T, but the black tie plan is worth it's weight in myrrh. I'll wait until I can be insured with no deductible.

.^^^^I agree i had a chance to buy one at att store but helf back vecause i didn't want to pay $10 a month on top of $200 deductible. Where BB is $170 one time and no deductible.

Outright geek squad can be returned at a pro-rated cost so it's really not beneficial to pay monthly if you think about it like that. Right now I'm waiting for them to say my Note 1 is not reparable so that they "junkout" my Note 1 so that I can get my Note 2 at no cost (actually ending up with $100+ in store credit)
Oh and it's not Best Buy that is holding onto the launch til Sunday. We have a hard street date of 11/9 for the ATT Note2 it's just that a bunch of stores did not get them in yet.

This reminds me of the SGS3 release when people did not get their phones for a week past the release date and some 2 weeks.

Same story here in St.Louis...was there and the AT&T Friday morning when they opened at 9am...now the AT&T store has one reserved for me at 11 am Sunday morning when they can sell them...They hadn't even put one out at the AT&T store yet till I asked to see one..BB didn't have any out or in the back...nor any cases for them either..Both places had them inbound along with the new LG one coming out..
Can hardly wait till I have mine home...I've been using a I-phone 4s for the last 3 months (very long story )...and been playing with my Captivate for the last week loading different JB roms...missing the hell out of it when the good wife gave me her upgrade and I jumped at the chance..She was holding out for a new 5...but seeing them she decided she liked her Cappy the way I had it fixed up and can wait till my upgrade hits next August She likes JB

Another kid before Christmas here. I went through the warranty dept. My upgrade is May. I got several doa refurb GS II's, so they gave me a One X refurb. I was just going to let that hold me over until the GS IV when I qualify. But its got stuck pixels, the refurb I got to replace it was scratched and on the unrootable update, so I sent it back. Now that the update was rooted I was going to get another. I asked if I could somehow get a new one instead of another refurb. They said sure ... For $99 with early upgrade. Instead I asked for a Note II, on Monday. They said I would have to wait until yesterday, they couldn't pre-order an early upgrade. So I called really early Friday morning so I could get it overnighted and play with it over the weekend. Turns out I got standard shipping instead. So I may have to take Wednesday off work, or a half day.
It all worked out though, I called back to see if Wednesday was really when its expected, and asked again about the $199 price match. I got a $128 credit, so I faired pretty well. But, I may overload the UPS mobile site with all my refreshes until Wednesday.

The store had them, but couldn't sell them. A friend (Best Buy employee) has told me he couldn't get one for Sprint yet either until Monday, even though it's been out they can't sell it for whatever reason.

Still none in the DFW area.

The Sprint Note 2 had a street Date of today at Best Buy. The Att could've been sold on Friday, problem is most stores didn't get any Friday.

I picked one up (white) at the AT&T store in Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY. They had two when I walked in and before I left I overheard
another customer asking for it.

Yeah, a few AT&Ts had it in my area but I want to get it from Best Buy. Silver Rewards gives me 60 days to return with no restocking unlike AT&Ts 14 days and a restocking fee.

It is now showing up as available at all stores in my area for pickup (Buffalo, NY). It looks like att had the weekend head start. I will be going to pick up my preorder as soon as they open today.

seems like every store here has 20 (im in miami). I kinda regretted preordering

I wish I had pre-ordered, but I didn't think I was going to want it initially until I played with it at a local store. I have called over 30 stores in the NYC area (time to kill today). None of the manhattan stores have any. I have found a few in Brooklyn with white. Not titanium to be found.
I'll either wait till Best Buy has it or I'll wait till the next shipment.

I stopped by a Rogers store in Calgary yesterday and they told me that Rogers has only received 20 for the whole city so far! That is for a city with a population of 1.1M??? Very sad Samsung. You will never beat Apple this way!!

I don't know if this is Samsung's fault completely. It seems like Sprint here in America has them in stock all over the place, but I can't find them at AT&T. Perhaps Rogers and AT&T didn't order enough?

This is likely the case. Samsung hasn't listed any shortages of the note 2 and many Asian carriers got this phone by the droves. Sprint stores have a crap ton around Atlanta GA, but ATT stores have around 20ish (checked 2 stores) so it seems to be carrier orders that were low and not Samsung shipments.
Curiously ATT has had more growth in Online purchases than Sprint, so they may be trying to find a good balance between not over/under ordering at physical stores and relying on online purchases for the bulk of their shipments. I ordered mine from ATT online. Just thinking out loud.

With 6 people in queue in front of me, I asked the girl who checked me in if anyone else was there for the Note 2. She said no and agreed to grab one for me and check me out since I was buying it off contract.
I told her that there was another guy waiting on one (who I had met while wandering the store waiting). Hopefully he got his too!

Nassau New York, none of the AT&T stores have any yet...everyone I called kept telling me to call back in a few hours to see if the they got the shipment in. I got mine at a small non-corporate store on Friday, so if anyone around here is looking check out those little guys.

My salesman checked all of the St.Louis stores including Fenton since it's only a couple miles from Sunset Hills...they were out too...Have to wait and see if they are coming in on the truck today..My salesman will hold 1 for me along with what ever cases they have if they come in too..:fingers-crossed:

At&t in Secaucus Nj had both colors today. I'm in the best buy in woodbridge now waiting to trade in my old note for the note 2 here. Its the only one in the area that has titanium in stock today. Many stores are expecting shipment today or tomorrow though.

What about cases? They basically had only the flip cover last week.

Cleveland AT&T store had a bunch of them - I got the first one, straight out of the shipping box. I was the only one getting one that morning. It's strange how good AT&T is around here in terms of speed and everything, given what a medium market we are - must be the holdover corporate presence they've had here for years.

I purchased mine from AT&T Roosevelt Field Mall. When I got there and asked, they said they only had 2 left and this was at 1pm. Before I finished my purchase, I heard another customer come in and ask for the other one.

The corporate store on Lindbergh in Crestwood...and they still didn't have any today as well...no shipment scheduled for today
They have checked the other stores stock via computer for me...and this is getting a little frustrating. How can you have a launch without enough stock to sell to the customers..I know I'll wind up getting one sooner or later...and as my good wife always tells me..." everything for a reason " but damn....this really aggravates me

i ordered my Note 2 from AT&T on Monday (straight off their website) and apparently it's on backorder.
anyone here have any experience with their shipping system? this is my first time ordering a phone off their website, and definitely my first time on backorder with them. was curious how long i should expect to wait before seeing my phone.

I ordered mine from a Premier phone rep. She said it was back ordered, but it shipped the next day.

i ordered it online because none of the stores in my area had it in stock on monday (closest one that had it in stock was 80 miles away). i called around and asked. guess i'll just have to wait and see how long it takes.
i was checking for the white version, btw. i'm kind of deadset on it, just prefer the way it looks by far over the grey.

I ordered on Saturday the 24th and was told it was in stock, then I called yesterday and they told me it was on back order, I got so mad at them for telling me one thing, and it was not true. Just an FYI the online matched the in store price for me. On black Friday my local att store was having buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for 300 get the note #2 for 50.00 or a SG3 for free. I took the SG3 and sold it, and called the online division and asked if they would use my upgrade and sell me the note 2 for 50.00 and after getting the ok from his boss I am getting the Note 2 for 50. Can't wait to get it hope it is not on back order to long
Just got an email tonight at 7:25 pm Eastern Item has Shipped and mine is White as well so hang in there its on the way

I've been checking my local stores 2 or 3 times a week since launch, but haven't managed to get one yet. I did find one in stock last week, but when I got to the store, the line was out the door and I didn't feel like waiting.
At this rate, it sounds like I might as well just wait for the Note 3.

I noticed when i got mine a couple weeks ago they were sold out online, and it showed most stores around here as out or limited quantity, at least with the white one, only one store around here actually said "in stock" and thats where I got it.

Keep calling! That is what I did and with a few clicks on my last call (could have been coincidence but. ...) the Rep said "okay refresh your Page" and then it said something like fulfilling or something along those lines, and I got it like the next day!

well, after my third phone call to AT&T about this i was informed that the phone is NOT on backorder, the fulfillment center has my order in their system and is still processing it.
there is nothing they can do to expedite the process, they said check again on Monday and if it hasn't shipped by then call customer service yet another time.
how hard is it to package a phone and ship it off, seriously?

I purchased my SN2 from Walmart wireless.com today for $299.99 with a $100 e-gift card and no tax. My shipping status shows awaiting inventory and before I ordered it there was a message saying it could take up to two weeks. I guess I will just wait and see what happens. From my research all of the other retailers in the area have the phone in stock or just got it in stock expect for Walmart. I am sure this is due to the $100 gift card. Anyone else order from Walmart wireless.com?

I've seen some getting their replacements from Best Buy and a few AT&T stores seem to have received them this afternoon, but it seems they are in Maine and Virginia from what I've seen. Wish Verizon would jump on board! They should be pushing an update for the Verizon Note7 tomorrow or Wednesday too, hopefully its got some goodies inside it.

Yeah they told me a few days ago that they weren't expecting them for a few more weeks. I don't think the reps know wtf they are talking about sometimes. Gonna try again in the morning and see what happens

So basically us exchanger have to be in comp with people who want to buy new ones. Which we discussed how bull**** that is. What he has done is made a list (of those whos called) and when they come in hes going to contact the exchangers and give them first crack.

I have read that the note 7 won't go on sale for new customers until October. Only exchanges till then.

I'm currently at our vacation home roughly an hour away from the nearest corporate store; been here all summer and had my original Note 7 delivered here when I ordered it online.
When I read here this morning that the VZW website was showing the Note 7 available for purchase, I called in to arrange for my replacement to be shipped to me. The Customer Care rep initially claimed that the phone could only be exchanged in a corporate store, but when I explained to her that I had spoken with 2 CC reps previously that had stated unequivocally that a replacement could be shipped, she did some checking and discovered that this was indeed an option.
As I write this, though, she's having an issue using my alternate shipping address (even though it's the same one the original phone was shipped to!), and is working with her manager to resolve that and will be calling me back with a confirmation number.
The replacement is shipping 2nd-day and I'm hoping to have it in-hand on Thursday.

I read that too yesterday but haven't heard anything to verify it. We just have to... As usual wait. ?

Just called no ETA on when they are getting any in.. My friend is a store manager for a authorized resellers that run by the cellular connection (all through the usa) and they have nothing.. Hes can't understand why they are not communicating to everyone except stores even his corporate stores friends dont know anything.

So I called Verizon again this morning, and she told me to call back tomorrow as they should be getting some in on the 21st. So hopefully tomorrow I can exchange it and stop worrying about owning a ticking time bomb lol

So how do you actually get through all the automated B.S. to talk to a person at the local Verizon

Hmmm I was able to order mine today, I also asked what I should do with the "bad one" they said to keep it as Samsung doesn't want them back...In my heart I feel this isn't true and I don't want to be charged for not returning the old one. Who else was told to keep the old one?
