[Q] Anyone else preorder from Radio Shack?

I preordered from Radio Shack on June 6th. I was told by several associates as well as the store manager that the phone would be in on June 21st. I even called on the 20th to confirm and was told everything was fine and the phone shipped on the 19th. Well the 21st has come and gone and after several emails, phone calls I still have no answers regarding when phones will be in. Best Buy has already started giving their customers their preordered phones. Does anyone have any relevant information regarding when I can expect shipments to get in from Radio Shack?

I have preordered with them before with no problem. The things is if they knew it was going to be delayed they should have contacted people to let them know. It is also starting to annoy me that Best Buy is fulfilling their preorders as we speak. I just want some answers as to when they will receive the phone incase I need to make arrangements to purchase it elsewhere.

There is a shortage on this product where would you get it....I went to best buy today in my area and they had none. The Sprint Corporate store didn't have them either. That said be patient man do you think they are holding them to keep them from you.....stay informed!

I ordered mine from Radio Shack and they have no clue when it will come in. I ordered one from Best Buy for my wife in white since Radio Shack did not show it for pre order in their system. Called BB again today for the wife and they told me they only received 2 Sprint Galaxy S3 today, and they had already called those customers, but did not receive any for AT&T.
Upset for her to because they assured me they were told the Sprint ones would be in on Friday and Saturday. Will check again tomorrow, at least they seem to be getting info, all Radio Shack would tell me is they don't know and hopefully it will not be longer than a week.
I should have ordered from Sprint online, then I would have gotten them both by now.

I also preordered from Radio Shack. When I preordered I was told the devices would be in on the 21st and asked when I would be in that day (I said "when the store opened"). I went in when the store opened on the 21st and the employee read me an email that she received that morning saying there would be a delay of at least one week and possibly two. What bothers me is that I got this info when I went to get my phone. What also bothers me is that best buy is fulfilling preorders already which makes me think that Best Buy is paying to have the phones quickly shipped to their stores where Radio Shack is not or Best buy is getting some sort of special treatment.
Honestly, if I had known this was going to occur I would have skipped Radio Shack. The lack of communication and, not to mention, product is pretty unprofessional and I will be trying to get a hold of someone who matters within Radio Shack to let them know that this has likely lost them some customers.

I emailed Radio Shack's corporate offices as well as left posts on their Twitter and Facebook accounts trying to get answers. This was done this morning and I have yet to receive a response from any of them.

My wifes white phone came in to Best Buy today. The phone is nothing short of amazing. Radio Shack responded to me on twitter after I bombarded them and Samsung. All they would say is they are working with Sprint, and their its a temporary shortage. Well...duh

I think they are recycling the same message through all social forums. I just wish I could get a direct answer to when I can expect my phone.

I agree. They should be more forthcoming with their answers. This stops people from complaining as much. As of this moment, I will never order anything from Radio Shack again. The experience has been awful.
I know they are not responsible for the shortage, but, the total lack of communication on their part is what has turned me against them. I have had to hunt them down to get the basic of answers.
I went to my local Sams's Club today, and he said their Sprint rep was in the store yesterday and told them they should have some available for them between Monday and Wednesday. I gave the guy my contact information to call me if they come in, if so, I'll buy mine from them. Sometimes Sams is $25 to $50 cheaper than everyone else.

That's awesome I hope you get the phone soon. I just wish I could get any kind of answer on when I can expect to get my phone. I will never deal with Radio Shack again as well and I hope I hear something soon so I know whether or not to make other arrangements on getting the phone elsewhere.

Thanks, I hope you get yours soon also. For some reason, I have the strangest feeling that it will be in on Monday or Wednesday at the latest. I don't know why, I just do.
Until then, I'm having fun playing with my wifes S3. I kind of regret not ordering the white version now. I thought I would prefer the blue one, and it's possible I might, but from looking at all the amazing cases out for the S3, they all look better on the white version.

I hope it's Monday or Wednesday but I honestly have lost faith in getting it that soon. A few of the Radio Shack stores have said they have heard June 28th and July 7th at the latest. If that's the case I'm just going to try and purchase it somewhere else and just use the $50 gift card on something else. At this point we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best.

I'll be calling radio shack on my lunch break to see if any came in.
I'm hoping for a voice mail saying it's there though.

All of radio shacks pre orders have be received at their dc and been shipped back out. We WILL be getting out phones no later than Friday. :-D

I called mine and the girl who answered the phone said they have a shipment in the back and they will be going through it soon and will call and let me know. I have no faith that it's there. LOL

I called Radio Shack again. They told me their Fed Ex delivery comes in at 2, to cal back around 3, they should have everything checked on by then.

If they get them in let us know.

He doesn't seem to be good at timely answers. My wife heard All stores are only getting 5 each and I asked him if it was true and its been half an hour ago and still no answer. I told him I need 2. I'll ask but can't promise timely answers.

I'd like to echo this sentiment. From what I've heard, from people's dealings with AT&T customer representatives, there's a thought that the white version will be available on Friday in stores. I really want the white version... so... can we get a yay or a nay?

replace S3 with SGN and we are brothers!!! my power button also doesnt work on the the 3gs, i really am itching, the only thing i like is that i can get 2 weeks of crap before my glorious screen returns!!!

Please let there be a white one!!

I'm going to bring my box & phone on Fri to see if I can swap for a white one. If they do have it I hope they let me swap. I did pre-order through a CS Rep.

I will be at the store nearest me at 8:30 Friday morning to try and get one. I am *so tired* of getting the runaround by ATT reps. First the inability to preorder online, then the phone rep telling me there's nothing she could do and they had no idea, and to go talk to a store. One store telling me that I could come back in a few days and preorder it from them, then saying a few days later they didn't even have the SKU in the system. *Then* that same store told me I wouldn't have a hard time at all getting one, however, I called back yesterday and they said "We aren't getting very many, you might want to be here early." ARGH. This shouldn't be this frustrating.

Just checked att website says they have them in stock to purchase at my local att store in upper darby, pa!

My local store just call me to let me know they have more than enough in @ the Town Center Jacksonville, Fl. Too bad I got a really good deal via premier support by phone. They were going to give me the phone for 299 with some freebee's but was adding a line and just keeping with no phone/data on it. 9.99 a month...Premier CSR gave it to me same price and did an early upgrade (6 months early!). I'm happy.

Just got one from my local store. Got the last one. They only had 2.

This really sucks. I went to an at&t store and waited until they opened this morning. They had 5 galaxy notes for sale but they would not sell me once because I would not sign a new contract. I tried buying the phone for full price and they told me it could be over a month before they are able to sell the GN2 off contract. I called customer support who actually called the store because they couldn't believe they wouldn't sell it to me. Customer support ended up saying its up to the manager to decide if they have limited stock...blah blah blah.
Terrible customer service from at&t as usual. I don't know what to do about it now because even customer support would not let me order it from them directly on the phone. I have a business account with them so I am waiting to hear back from my company rep but this BS should be allowed to exist. I am literally willing to give them $650 + tax for a phone and they won't take my money. If it wasn't for my grandfathered unlimited data plan than I would think about leaving them. Does anyone have any similar experience or suggestions on how to make this happen for me? I really wanted to get a GN2.

I guess it could be up to the manager but why didnt you plan on hitting a few at&t stores, not just one? I'm sure others wouldnt mind taking your money.

i ordered my Note 2 from AT&T on Monday (straight off their website) and apparently it's on backorder.
anyone here have any experience with their shipping system? this is my first time ordering a phone off their website, and definitely my first time on backorder with them. was curious how long i should expect to wait before seeing my phone.

I ordered mine from a Premier phone rep. She said it was back ordered, but it shipped the next day.

i ordered it online because none of the stores in my area had it in stock on monday (closest one that had it in stock was 80 miles away). i called around and asked. guess i'll just have to wait and see how long it takes.
i was checking for the white version, btw. i'm kind of deadset on it, just prefer the way it looks by far over the grey.

I ordered on Saturday the 24th and was told it was in stock, then I called yesterday and they told me it was on back order, I got so mad at them for telling me one thing, and it was not true. Just an FYI the online matched the in store price for me. On black Friday my local att store was having buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for 300 get the note #2 for 50.00 or a SG3 for free. I took the SG3 and sold it, and called the online division and asked if they would use my upgrade and sell me the note 2 for 50.00 and after getting the ok from his boss I am getting the Note 2 for 50. Can't wait to get it hope it is not on back order to long
Just got an email tonight at 7:25 pm Eastern Item has Shipped and mine is White as well so hang in there its on the way

I've been checking my local stores 2 or 3 times a week since launch, but haven't managed to get one yet. I did find one in stock last week, but when I got to the store, the line was out the door and I didn't feel like waiting.
At this rate, it sounds like I might as well just wait for the Note 3.

I noticed when i got mine a couple weeks ago they were sold out online, and it showed most stores around here as out or limited quantity, at least with the white one, only one store around here actually said "in stock" and thats where I got it.

Keep calling! That is what I did and with a few clicks on my last call (could have been coincidence but. ...) the Rep said "okay refresh your Page" and then it said something like fulfilling or something along those lines, and I got it like the next day!

well, after my third phone call to AT&T about this i was informed that the phone is NOT on backorder, the fulfillment center has my order in their system and is still processing it.
there is nothing they can do to expedite the process, they said check again on Monday and if it hasn't shipped by then call customer service yet another time.
how hard is it to package a phone and ship it off, seriously?

I purchased my SN2 from Walmart wireless.com today for $299.99 with a $100 e-gift card and no tax. My shipping status shows awaiting inventory and before I ordered it there was a message saying it could take up to two weeks. I guess I will just wait and see what happens. From my research all of the other retailers in the area have the phone in stock or just got it in stock expect for Walmart. I am sure this is due to the $100 gift card. Anyone else order from Walmart wireless.com?

Possible that some stores will have the Note 4 instock tomorrow!

So I was in AT&T today getting ready to pre-order and setup my new contract when the sales associate told me they were getting the Note 4 in stock tomorrow. SO I hesitated and said should I just setup my new account tomorrow instead and he replied yes and set me up an appointment for when I get off work. Well paranoid me I am worried they will sell out before I get off work tomorrow so I called and talked to the manager, now she is saying she is pretty sure they are gonna get it tomorrow but told me it is not guaranteed but that if I call in the morning they will put one aside for me if they do arrive.
Has anyone been to an AT&T store lately and told this?

Called 4 stores around me. 2 told me the 17th, one told me the 14th, the 4th one told me they would start receiving stock between tomorrow and the 17th and could sell them as they received them.

AT&T reps who work in stores don't know MODERATOR EDIT. What's funny is that they think they do.

AT&T online says it will ship by the 14th. The reps are not allowed to hold any phones for customers so don't believe that BS haha.

Well that I know but I spoke with the manager of the store and she said technically she can't but she would since the guy jerked me around. Oh well, we will find out tomorrow
Update 1: Just woke up and getting ready for work, will call AT&T an hour after they open to see if they came in and to see if the manager will hold her word.

When I went and pre ordered it on monday, the ATT in Etown Ky said they will have them today. I went ahead and had the pre order shipped to my house though. I dont want them trying to sell my preorder just because I was at work.

Although we should never trust what an AT&T rep says, from my past experience the stores do get the phones earlier than when pre-orders ship, but they do not put them out for sale until after pre-orders have already shipped. Makes since because why would they sell to a walk-in before those that have pre-ordered.....if they did this than where would the loyalty be!? Yeah I know, AT&T has no loyalty.

Not that I want this to happen, but I was a pre-order for the FitBit Flex. That launch was a nightmare!! Pre-order started literally months ahead of release. (4, if I remember right) Then, Best Buy started selling them 4 days before the actual launch, so all the pre-orders got screwed.

Sorry for the late update but surprise surprise, no Note 4 delivery... Oh well I was at least able to get my pre-order in so now it's back to the good old refresh the email like no tomorrow and pray for early shipments

Well the reps I talked to are nice and Ive dealt with them before when the S4 was about to be released. I was just bummed at how even the store manager told me it was coming, then I come in the next day saying I was told this to be questioned on who told me it and why.. Either way my pre-order is in and I'm hoping it ships early like my Galaxy S4 did.

TMobile devices are shipping now.
After checking my tracking number It shipped from KY which is where TMobile warehouse resides I guess and my phone is showing in the Nashville UPS hub since im located here in Nashville TN.
It has a delivery date of this Monday by 4PM.
That goes for allot of people who preorderd on TMobile. Getting devices way ahead of the 17th!.

Still no change on my pre-order status for the phone, but interesting enough on friday my sim-card they include in the pre-order changed from "preparing to ship" to "processing". Hoping for a speedy shipment.

I'm with AT&T and still sitting at preparing to ship between the 14th and 16th but I'm willing to bet this will change come monday. Not expecting much today since it's Sunday. Quite surprised your status changed so late on a Saturday, maybe they will at will at least get the devices to UPS today. They won't move obviously but if they have them then that means first thing Monday morning it's gonna get real :fingers-crossed::victory::fingers-crossed:

I wouldn't expect to see anything change unto the early morning Monday hours. It's Sunday, NOTHING moves on Sunday. I mean businesses can drop **** off sometimes but it just sits in a back room waiting for business hours.

I've seen some getting their replacements from Best Buy and a few AT&T stores seem to have received them this afternoon, but it seems they are in Maine and Virginia from what I've seen. Wish Verizon would jump on board! They should be pushing an update for the Verizon Note7 tomorrow or Wednesday too, hopefully its got some goodies inside it.

Had my wife check the Verizon store where I originally purchased my N7 at on her way home from work. They told her they weren't expecting them in for another week... WTF?!?!

Yeah they told me a few days ago that they weren't expecting them for a few more weeks. I don't think the reps know wtf they are talking about sometimes. Gonna try again in the morning and see what happens

I also contacted my local store yesterday(and will attempt to do so once again today) and was advised they did not expect any shipments. The person also advised that he wasn't aware when they were actually arriving.. I will, however keep trying.. Every day...

My manager friend whos at our reseller store said hes got as much conflicting stories as we do. He did say verizon did say its a one for all when they come in. So basically us exchanger have to be in comp with people who want to buy new ones. Which we discussed how bull**** that is. I have read that the note 7 won't go on sale for new customers until October. Only exchanges till then.

I'm currently at our vacation home roughly an hour away from the nearest corporate store; been here all summer and had my original Note 7 delivered here when I ordered it online.
When I read here this morning that the VZW website was showing the Note 7 available for purchase, I called in to arrange for my replacement to be shipped to me. The Customer Care rep initially claimed that the phone could only be exchanged in a corporate store, but when I explained to her that I had spoken with 2 CC reps previously that had stated unequivocally that a replacement could be shipped, she did some checking and discovered that this was indeed an option.
As I write this, though, she's having an issue using my alternate shipping address (even though it's the same one the original phone was shipped to!), and is working with her manager to resolve that and will be calling me back with a confirmation number.
The replacement is shipping 2nd-day and I'm hoping to have it in-hand on Thursday.

I read that too yesterday but haven't heard anything to verify it. We just have to... As usual wait. ?

Yeah, wtf Verizon. I guess they do whatever they want.

This is why Samsung should have handled it. If you're counting on Verizon to do the right thing, then you're doing it wrong.

Just called no ETA on when they are getting any in.. My friend is a store manager for a authorized resellers that run by the cellular connection (all through the usa) and they have nothing.. Hes can't understand why they are not communicating to everyone except stores even his corporate stores friends dont know anything.

So I called Verizon again this morning, and she told me to call back tomorrow as they should be getting some in on the 21st. So hopefully tomorrow I can exchange it and stop worrying about owning a ticking time bomb lol

So how do you actually get through all the automated B.S. to talk to a person at the local Verizon

Hmmm I was able to order mine today, I also asked what I should do with the "bad one" they said to keep it as Samsung doesn't want them back...In my heart I feel this isn't true and I don't want to be charged for not returning the old one. Who else was told to keep the old one?
